61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Online Slots Are Not Provably fair? on: September 24, 2024, 09:48:22 PM
Playing gambling was never meant to make money in the first place. If you do tend to have that kind of perception or approach that you could be able to win up and make yourself rich
then you are really that bound on trying to wreck up your life because of gambling and this is something that you should realize in the first place. Online slots are not provably fair?
Of course they would really be always have the edge on which you would really be losing more the longer you do play and this is something thats normal. Somehow there would really be
those instances or situations on which a gambler could be able to hit up a jackpot or big amount and thats why on the moment that this thing happens then you should really know on when
to take profits and secure it out.
Most gamblers intend that they want to make a profit from gambling. Excluding those who keep deceiving themselves that they are into gambling for fun. But anyone with the mindset of gambling to get rich or with the assurance that their financial level will be disappointed in the end. Gambling should be an activity we do sometimes not because we rely on it to give us the money that we would use for our daily expenses or to make wealth but because it will serve as an aid to what we need money for.

To be safer, we should be fully hopeful in gambling no matter how good we are and how long we take to analyze every game we choose before gambling. It is strictly based on luck which is why we should expect that the game might be lost or won. I still don't like slot games because i feel they are more manipulated compared to other games in the casino platform.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ EFL Carabao Cup 2024/25 Season on: September 24, 2024, 09:25:32 PM
3rd round will be started today and i have seen that some of matches will be available today and mostly some of Premier league teams will fight against the teams from lower division and on the paper thiese matches shouldn't be big problem for them and here is the current schedules for 3rd round today

Walsall vs Leicester
Manchester City vs Watford
Chelsea vs FC Barrow
Wycombe vs Aston Villa

For the teams such as Manchester City, Aston Villa and Chelsea i am very confident these teams will be able to overcomes their opponents but for Leicester although their opponent is only the team from League One division but i highly doubt they can win because their performance is really unstable in Premier league even i was thinking possibility this match will be ended draw at the normal time
If giving more attention. Manchester City will surely that's not a problem Aston Villa and Chelsea will take it more seriously that is why I am very certain they will win the game. Leicester game can be bet on Leicester to win either half or win or draw. But on the brighter side, I can be hopeful for Leicester to win the game.

I don't know if it is just me or if few others know that the competition in the next round will consist more of the Premier League teams. If care is not taken any EPL team would win the Carabao Cup.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tension that comes on the last game/s. on: September 23, 2024, 11:07:24 AM
I have experienced similar issues like this just because I didn’t listen but sometimes it’s better we try our luck just like op but in a situation whereby a person never gets to make the profit just because of one last game for example, seeing the option cashout but because there’s this confidence anyone can lose his/her money. I have been in this situation and it’s always the last game, As gamblers  we all want to win and sometimes we get excited with the amount we see forgetting it’s by luck, after experiencing lose I will advice to cashout quick before anything happens op might be lucky anytime but not always.
Sometimes that thing we call luck can be misleading when we could have just taken our chances to take what we can and leave, but we want to try our luck and see how the game will end. That's me thinking of a way for it to be win-win.

But a gambler will always be one, and one thing that will give you the most joy is to wait and watch all the games play to the end, and if luck is on your side and you win the game, it's your lucky day, and if the opposite happens, all you will do is regret.
If the money that is available for cash out is substantial, then that is when the gambler should take the win like that and not rely on luck. Unless the money is too small that is available then he can spare to risk it by waiting till the end of the game. I don't see it as misleading though because everyone has what they intend to use their wins for. This gave them the right to choose if they wanted to cash out the wins they saw rather than waiting to win the entire money. In as much as there is no assurance that if the game is left till the end, they will lose then there is hope that they can win the game if they leave it till the end too. Sometimes relying on luck is necessary.

The idea of Haaland becoming rude with pride is disgusting these days. First after they scored luckily in the last minute, he threw the ball on Gabriel's head, and I think that was an offensive thing to do. And after the game ended and everyone was saying goodbye, he told Mikel Arteta to stay humble. Sometimes I wonder if he thinks he is better than all the players that existed before him who had so many victories, yet they have not shown this type of arrogance. They celebrated like they won the league just because they luckily saw a draw game at the end.

The funny thing is that he has just one UCL trophy and a few Premier League trophies in his closet and he feels he has arrived. What of players like Messi and Ronaldo who have lots of trophies and have broken greater records than him, yet they stay humble? I think this should be addressed quickly because I was angry when I saw this. The lack of respect for Arsenal's coach is what annoys me the most.

Tell them you are into copywriting i necessary. But I don't find it necessary to start telling anyone what you do in the forum. Just saying you work remotely that's all they need to hear. If it is someone you intend to share the right information with, like your mum, dad, or someone very close to you that you can trust. Then just simply tell them that you write online, and you get paid for writing loss of articles. Any day they see you writing in the forum that will make them understand the nature of the job you do.

People don't want to hear that you get paid in BTC, especially those who have been scammed through BTC or have had bad experiences in it. In the end what they think and know ah does not like I am.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Watching the games you bet on is meant to be a part of the fun. (2) on: September 22, 2024, 10:21:42 PM
What do you think? Is it possible for a gambler with a long bet slip to be gambling for fun?
To start with, in general, I don't believe people gamble for the fun of it. I think they do so as a means of increasing their earnings/income. As for a gambler with a long bet slip, it's obvious they're super determined to win something out of their activities and that's what informs many to expand their picks. They just want more out of little. So, for these ones there's nothing like gambling being fun or leisure. It's all business
Having long picks in one bet slip doesn't guarantee their success in gambling Whether they are determined or not, an ambler might be lucky, or they might not be in the log slip. In the right sense what should push a gambler to include more games in his slip should be the fact that they are not satisfied with low adds and want a big win instead of a small win. Determination shouldn't be forced to do that. In this context, determination feels like assurance and certainty of their games in gambling. Let them not be disappointed out of 10 bets none would they win if they continued with long betting slips.
67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 22, 2024, 10:13:04 PM
After sacking Daniele De Rossi, and appointed Ivan Juric, Roma won their first match in this season and it's a big win. Let' see scorers for Roma: Dovbyk scores again and two other goals are from Dybala though a penalty and Baldanzi.

In this match, Roma controlled it well and dominated the match so this win is well deserved for them. Juric has a good start with Roma like De Rossi had his start with them last season after repacing Jose Mourinho.

How long will the honey moon of Juric and Roma last?

With 3 points from this match, Roma temporary jumps to a 9th position.

Roma winning today does not happen because of Ivan Juric. This is just a welcome bonus to him. There are greater opponents and difficult matches ahead of him. His consistency in winning games and making good use of his players will determine if something has changed in Roma. I can't judge his performance on his first win. Well, today I am congratulating Roma for having their first win in the game.

Temporarily they are 9th in the league table. Hopefully, they will be able to win Venezia before facing Inter which I know currently will be impossible for them to win this season.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 22, 2024, 09:49:05 PM
To be fair, Chelsea COULD sell these players, maybe for their value or maybe for lower or maybe just give them away for free just to get rid of the salary, but they could just get rid of them. In that case, I think it's quite clear to see that we are going to see that Chelsea will have some good money, with that kind of money they could actually build a great team and get whoever they want.

Osimhen was the biggest name they could get, and as a striker for Chelsea he would have been perfect and they should have kept pressuring, they were close and I think they could have convinced Napoli for 100 million or less like they offered with time, so it shouldn't really be a big deal at all, we are going to see this grow and become something good eventually, we need to focus on that part.
When do clubs start signing a player because of a big name? You see, that is the problem with Osimehn. He felt he had a big name after performing so well from Napoli and he let that get into his head. When clubs came for him, he felt he could make his own choices, or they should offer him so much since he was a big shot in the market. Osimehn doesn't know in the market most coaches are racist they don't value black stars even if they are big names.

Pride comes before a fall. And Osimehn let his pride take over him. Throughout the social media, he was busy ranting words to his coach and agent. I think if one wants to be lifted, he has to be humble. Now he is playing in a league that doesn't suit him.
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25 on: September 22, 2024, 09:40:33 PM
Barcelona are really ready for this season, and from all indications they will do better, but we don’t know how the midseason will be for them yet because they still have a lot of games to play ahead. But still knowing well that they were able to achieve a total of 22 goals in just 6 games is one of the facts that will dispute that they are not for joke in this season, and it clearly shows that they will try their possible bet to see if they can achieve the trophy even though they know it will be somehow hard for them to do that because Real Madrid is still in the game, and we’ll all know that Real Madrid will not allow that to happen.

Talking about Lamine Yamal, he is really doing a good job at that point, and if he puts in more effort, then you will definitely be well recognised in this season, and that will make him a star in La Liga.
I like the fact that Barcelona has taken the league seriously this season. I have seen the spirit and improvement within the players. They are still my favorite club in the Spanish league. I want them t fight for the title and their focus should be more on winning the La Liga instead of the Champions League. My reason is that we have seen how competitive UCL is having a tough time in the UCL. If they fail to win other games, then they will not be able to qualify. Watching their game today i was impressed and i expect more from them in their upcoming games.

I am so dissappointed today after Arsenal conceded a last second goal to give Manchester City and equalizer after they strougled from the beginning of the second half to the very last minute.
If you were in that field you would have felt the heat from Manchester United during the last minute. And it is not easy to play 10 against 11 men in the Premier League especially when you are against Manchester City. It was annoying when Trossard was given that red card because I knew since Arsenal had taken the lead, they would defend to win the game. But it was unfortunate for them. The same incident that happened in the Tottenham game made Tottenham equalized. To be honest, it has cost Arsenal a lot because they were supposed to have won the 3 points from Tottenham and Manchester City today, but they ended up taking only two points because of a red card.

In the end, it was Raya who had saved lots of balls if not Manchester City would have won the game. Am so happy with the improvement Arteta has made in the team. Currently, any team facing Arsenal should be ready to take the smoke. It's not going to be easy for the next team.

72  Economy / Economics / Re: Cutting cost: Do we really need the latest smartphone? on: September 20, 2024, 09:08:54 PM
I don't see any need to change our smartphone based on industry trends if it works well for us, doing everything we intend to use a smartphone for. On the other hand, there is nothing wrong with getting the latest smartphones because of the new features or to show off, as long as they are financially capable of buying them and still be stable financially. All hands are not equal so if I see someone whose hands are enough to buy the latest smartphone no matter how expensive it is then there is no need for me to judge them.

Besides everything I am a smartphone lover, and I always wanted to be a witness to the Laters features in the brand I am using Samsung then. But I stopped after I noticed that there's now competition between these brands which has made them not do anything interesting in the new smartphone. All they do now is either enhance camera quality, remove the notch, change the build, and make it more interactive. Nothing is interesting anymore in the new smartphones that is why I am satisfied with my current smartphones.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: workers are slaves and salary is just a bond tied to worker to keep them working on: September 20, 2024, 08:56:37 PM
No one forces one to work except one's own circumstances, if you don't want to work, improve your circumstances. Companies, job you do — are least to be blamed.

I know people who are having jobs — they are well paid, are given various benefits aside from salary, and work is not demanding either.

Also, 'Be your own boss' has been shoved down a lot lately on social media and I find it cringe.
Even if we want to be free financially and we don't have the capital to start something or take a loan. We have no choice but to work for someone or an organization so that we can realize the amount we need to start something on our own. There is no two ways about it and in that case, it is not something that we are forced to do it comes willingly even if we are not happy about it. Life events, circumstances, debt, and responsibilities push one to take multiple jobs and businesses just to survive them.

To the employer, the employee is seen as a worker and not a slave since they can decide when they want to quit the job unless there is an agreement of work period. Without that, they can stop the job at any point in time. Within few days the slot opening will be filled by someone else.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What most beginners don't get about Bitcoin on: September 20, 2024, 08:38:00 PM
Bitcoin was grounded on decentralisation and financial freedom ideals. It seems unwise to put too much hope, trust, or fear into specific people and governmental institutions of a specific country. The US is powerful, and the US President is pretty powerful as well. But Bitcoin transcends the borders and can be alright during different presidents and US policies. I don't think this election will make a major difference, not in the long run. So, in that sense, I agree with the op showing that Bitcoin has been rising gradually over different US presidents, despite whatever their opinions were.
Don't be deceived because the rise is because of the hype from presidential aspirants after everything is said and done and the winner is appointed, they may back down on their promises, and everything will go back to normal. Meanwhile, I do not believe anything at all that it is because of US presidents the price of Bitcoins is going how. I see it as a coincidence because Bitcoin would still do better or the same way it is now if there were no electoral campaigns and hype from US presidential aspirants.

Yeah bro, I wonder why people would be placing the fate of Bitcoin on some entities, Bitcoin is decentralised in nature and according to history it haven't been controlled by anyone and won't be currently, that's what makes it so unique and special for investors who believe in it's potential, despite the government institutions fighting hard to gain control over Bitcoin but to no avail and it still flourished overtime till this point. Majority are gradually seeing the usefulness of Bitcoin as an asset class hence the mass adoption by various individuals and institutions and I believe in the near future It could become widely accepted globally both for carrying out local and International transactions as well as different use case. People should disregard critics who come up with false points to backlash Bitcoin and jump on it cause it has lots of benefits for the future, those who have been holding for 5 years plus can testify of it's benefits as an asset class.
It cannot be controlled completely by anyone, but it has been influenced by some factors and electoral government practices are one factor. In the right sense, it is normal to be persuaded by their promises on the price of Bitcoin going high if they are elected which I call political fallacies but it won't last for long since its only for a person's ambitions.

I am a subscriber to Bitcoin Magazine, BTC Media, lately they do not send the paper magazine and do not answer emails. Is this happening to you too?
Not everyone uses the Bitcoin Magazine to get updates on Bitcoin when there are social media, forums, and other sources to stay updated with the happenings on Bitcoin. Aside from that, it's not ideal to subscribe to their newspaper if you don't get their emails now then you should be happy because a lot of these sites have forgotten about the initial mission and vision of their platform and are not sending unwanted, misleading, and inaccurate information to subscribers.

Yesterday a friend of mine was sent some BTC from his elder sister in the UK. And he wanted me to help him sell it on P2P. Because of greed (so I won't cheat him and take some of his money and the fact that he wanted a higher rate) he told me to sell on those guys who we see on P2P showing ineligible but with a high dollar rate. I warned him that the guy did not have a good record, yet he insisted. I have to do it for him. We waited for ages this guy had to lie he had paid why he hasn't?

There are bad people in bybit and they are active to see who is going to fall prey to their plans. I like the fact that my knowledge and expertise i cant be a victim of that. If they think they are smart then I'll show them smartness. Since we get some people wey no one use their head for this Naija. As na their follow Nigerians they wan scam.

Manchester City vs Arsenal

About the percentages of winning i can see Manchester City is more good than Arsenal but i have no wonder about that because Arsenal under Arteta has poor records while met Manchester City especially at Ettihad Stadium and i haven't checked the odds yet but i assume Manchester City will being an the favourite of this match

Yeah I no that Arteta against Pep Guardiola always end against Arteta because he continues to be less experience compare to Pep Guardiola but don't be surprised that Arsenal will hold them on a draw game because that is how we presume on there last meeting the previous season and they end up playing draw so the same can actually happened on this match because right now we cannot say that Arsenal is a weak team and let's not forget that they have gone through so many deprivation from the Manchester City, so they may decide to be no more longer oppress by the Manchester City, so this is a kind of match that shouldn't be judged by the Odds because even if Manchester city meet Arsenal hundred times they would always have a winning odds, so for me I would love the match to end in draw since they are both leading on the table.
Arteta vs Pep Guardiola. That is one hell of a match. I am hoping that Arsenal will maintain their defense as strong as they should because their attack currently is very poor. The absence of Odegard has affected the team and it's today I found out. If they want to win the game, then Odegard needs to be back, and Gabriel Jesus should not start the match. I won't be surprised though that Arteta will use a three-man midfield and defense against Manchester City.

Funny enough this is the first time I am hearing about Arsenal being oppressed by Manchester City. If I remember correctly last season City and Arsenal had one draw and Arsenal won them. Again, in the community shield last season. Arsenal won against them as well. What I am saying is that the only thing that Manchester City can have against Arsenal is the fact that they have won the EPL twice since Arsenal's performance improved.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: September 19, 2024, 09:36:54 PM
Barcelona are likely to lose their Champions League opener against Monaco. At the end of 80 minutes, Barcelona trailed 2-1. We had high expectations from Barcelona today. Because this team has won 5 matches of La League. Barcelona's players could have played better in today's match if the referee had not given Garcia a red card just 10 minutes into the match. It is not easy to perform well with 10 players.

Are referees biased? Or is he not experienced enough? I don't know exactly. But almost every decision taken by the referee in today's match goes against Barcelona. He gave a direct red card to Garcia. It would probably have been awarded a yellow card. He also gave yellow cards to Casado and Balde in the 88th minute. I don't understand the meaning of this either. He awarded the penalty decision. But he canceled the penalty decision due to var. However, I am not happy with the referee's behavior today. This is just my personal opinion.

Barcelona lost the match. But the boys of Barcelona tried their best. But we have to admit that Monaco's players also performed well in this match. In particular I would say Monaco's young midfielder Akliouche scored a great goal. If Akliouche can continue this form of performance, the Monaco club will earn a lot of money by selling Akliouche next season.
I don't understand the outcome of the game because I was busy watching Arsenal against Atalanta. Am unhappy to see that two games in today's fixtures had to cut my game. I was expecting Arsenal and Barcelona to win. It's annoying how Arsenal was playing only defensively throughout the game. Atalanta was so eager to win the game that the coach had to sub a lot of players to ensure that they would score in the game. But very unfortunate for them that the Arsenal defense is very hard to go through.

The game ended in a 0:0 draw as none of the teams could find the back of the net until the final whistle, Arsenal just played the first match of the champions League this season you don't expect them to play beyond their performance because they are in decent form in their domestic league don't forget that they played against the Europa League winners of last season despite Atalanta not being in a good form in the league but they are not a total bad team.

The game was a very tough one with both teams having the same playing strength, equal possession, same goal attempts so I think the game is supposed to end in a draw the way it ended because both teams were of equal playing strength tonight.
Atalanta was given a penalty that was caused by Partey and they failed to score. If the penalty was taken by Lookman I am certain that he would have scored. Lucky for Arsenal they have a good goalkeeper like David Raya. He was able to remove the ball from entering the goal twice. I believe he is the best keeper we can find in football these days.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Addiction Debate: Virtual Sports Betting vs Real-Life Sporting Events on: September 19, 2024, 03:59:59 PM
Addiction comes with the activity we involve ourselves in. Virtual sports betting and real-life sporting events all can be addictive. There is no limit to how addictive it can be to an individual, if the gambler gives more attention to virtual sports, then that is where his addictive habit would start. Research proves that we can only get addicted to something that we do consistently and when it becomes a habit that we can't do without then we are addicted to that thing.

In gambling, to persons virtual sports betting could be seen to be more addictive than real-life sports events. While others it's the other way around. One gambler can be very addicted to both of them which means in general we can only be addicted to gambling and not one particular sport in gambling.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Email scam demanding bitcoin - fooling the weak. on: September 19, 2024, 03:51:21 PM
Yeah that is pretty scary. Especially since they send a photo of your house and unless you recognise it was a Google streetview photo you are going to freak out and assume they live in your city and you might be in danger.

I heard the ones where they just email you and threaten but didnt think they would send along photos of your place of residence. The things scammers will do is crazy these days and downright scary.

Hopefully not too many people fall for these scams but I am sure some will because they wont want to put their family at risk.
My question is how would scammer gets our mail to send out that threatening mails? To me i think this things are being done by a close by friends or neighbors who knows that such people are holding enough bitcoin or that knows that such person trades bitcoin. Sincerely google street view doesn't give you view of someone's home, meaning it's archives the old post and updates from google so if someone is that clever enough they would know that it's not a recent photos.
It may be someone close who is trying to scam them or not but to clear your doubt there are several ways that a scammer can get someone's email without going through their phone. We know there are lots of sites where we logins our email information, some fake site that also demands an email for a person to subscribe to their newsletter. And not just that most sites we open in our browser cannot be trusted because some do sell users information while some collect the information for themselves, and the main aim is to send scam messages to users.

Apart from such threat, I heard about another one which user get threatened with their nudes or cheating photos. I wonder how they get to have the information of the victim. But funny enough that is where i suspect that someone who is close to the persons is responsible for doing those things.
