I've asked this many times, how much NAV does the team own? Is it impossible to answer it?
I am sure they can answer that easy but it is not relevant. Here is why: - There was no premine
- Their holdings are either bought or mined in the PoW phase
I like to compare it like this. If you joined the development team tomorrow, would you have to sell your NAV Coins to fund the project, work for the project and spend time on the project? While others sit behind their computer asking for updates.. Also, this has nothing to do with the community fund. The community fund is not for the Core team. It is a fund for everyone wanting to contribute to NAV Coin. Actually thats not quite technically true..... What was the deal that happened when Soopy and shahim (the original devs) "left" ? And Craig took over? If I recall correctly there was a LOT of coins that were NOT claimed and there was talk of burning them but that was like 18 months ago maybe. That was going to go towards a dev fund...... Perhaps someone could clear that up? I certainly don't expect the devs to work for free and Have given them many donations over the years that are worth tens of thousands of dollars today but yeah I would like to know how much they hold but more importantly what happened to the coins that went from Summercoin to nav and then Nav v1 to Nav V2? Thank you! still waiting for the answer... I joined NavCoin team in December 2016/January 2017 (can't remember exactly when) owning a personal bag of NAV from which I did not sell a single coin since then. I prefer to not disclose the exact amount, but you would need to click and scroll down on the rich list to find me... Craig has compensated me with a variable salary since I started, changing the amount depending on the different projects I assumed and the fiat value of NAV. I've sold and traded part of the coins which I got as salary, which was never higher than 10k NAV per month. Also received donations from the community AFAIK the Nav Foundation fund was over when I joined and was used to pay marketing campaigns (press releases) and server costs. Craig assumed all the costs from its personal money. Craig took over cause Soopy simply disappeared and abandoned Nav - without Craig the project would have died. There was no deal. Period. Thanks for the clarification. You have to understand that the whole Soopy going awol was not (Is not?) common knowledge but as always transparency is always best. If you recall going back a while I was the first person to say that maybe soppy should "step down" and let Craig take the reins as he was performing miracles at a time when development was v. e. r. y. slow. if not non existent at times as soppy was working on multiple coins at that time and not an ideal situation. With regard to your personal compensation, that is absolutely fine in my eyes. (and thanks BTW) your honesty is certainly appreciated. The question of the "dead coins" is however still valid. Maybe they are just that, but they do need to be accounted for before people start citing no premine and no ICO etc. as the numbers are publicly available in this thread. Thanks again for your insight. It is really appreciated and I learned something I didn't know.

Nav Coin Community Fund
We have had some interesting suggestions from the community on how to support Nav Coin’s development and marketing efforts and the NavPi batch 3 have started shipping with free track & trace upgrade. https://navcoin.org/news/nav-coin-community-fund/ At first I thought WTF? However, the devs are essentially doing this for free and clearly need funds to continue the fantastic work and further NAV development. Some may say that "oooh, they are taking away my incentive" but lets not forget 100% of Nothing is still nothing and they are potentially increasing value to the coin by being able to fund marketing and development projects which can only be good for everyone. Just my opinion, but I will be voting YES to help fund this awesome project.

Wow never saw a worst shitcoin and a noob comunity then this.
I went through the last 30 pages. Not a single nav owner has (even little) technical knowlegde in computer science - all they do is trying to pump and dump.
But i have to say: 2+$ p&d - respect. Scammed a lot of noobs out of their money.
Dude your account is 2 days old. NAV has been here since 2014. You clearly missed like 1150 pages. More respect. 10 month ago NAV was 1000% less valued. Noobies should have respect. Go back to your cage. In the last 3 years we have seen better Fudders. By the way...Have you bought @ATH? No. But 100's of noobs who are now bagholding a shitcoin because they believe you guys. Ath was what? 35k? People were losing like 80% of their investment until it rebounded now to 15k? Ignore me all you want. The truth will still stay the truth. Its been a while since we have seen someone on here go full retard. But I have been with this coin for 3 years now and this is no pump and dump. (Yeah look at my posts going back 3 years on Nav) The devs have gone FAR beyond my expectations and they continue to keep knocking it out of the park. Like Juguelio says we have seen much better fudders than you. Sounds like you bought at 35k and now won't sell as its too low for you. - just keep holding and you will be fine believe me.

why is nav price going down?
coz there is a RETARD on Poloniex with constant 25000 buy and sell orders who is scaring everyone off.

Are you using the low fee NTS NavTech transactions and want to help out? You can donate NAV to: NcdAm1KcutKi7xafvKLaVP2MsBgnw1pjT1A good way to test the NTS server *Don't make transactions over 250 Nav Coin through our cluster. (Your coins will NEVER get lost ) This might lead to your funds being kept on our incoming server for a period of time (not longer than one hour), after which they will be returned to your wallet address.
**The system sometimes has problems accepting Transactions smaller than 6 Nav Coin. This is because of how NavTech obfuscates transactions going out of the cluster.
Hey Colvano, you have been doing some great stuff for NAV and I hope you continue with all your useful stuff. Just one question. Is there any reason the tx is limited to 250 Nav?

I normally have 8-10 active connections whilst staking but today they are up and down like a yoyo going from 2 to 8 in just under a minute, dropping off and then back in again?
My connection is fine but weird it just came from nowhere tonight?......
Any ideas?

$10 MILLION worth of NAV has changed hands on Poloniex alone in the last 24 hours..... Wow... just wow

Damned polo been waiting on that deposit for almost an hour and it doesnt even show up as pending in history
I sent a ticket, hope they don't ignore it
16k broken. why you want to dump I am not dumping, I'm trading and profiting, and of course buying back when the price is right. Why settle for 5% stake a year when you can grow your holdings over 100% a year with very conservative trading methods? What he said ^^^^^

I have resizing GUI issues too and also the "unexpectedly quit" dialog after a couple of days. V4.04 ON Mac
Not a major problem as I can see what I need to see and just restart when it dies. Just figure it will be fixed in new update.
Doesn't effect staking, sending or receiving so no big deal.
I think the GUI issue is prob if your using a small screen and the default size is too big for your screen size (1366 x 768) in my case. (weird Mac resolution lol) I can only make my screen smaller not bigger so can't access the arrows for extending or dragging the GUI.

fantastic stuff guys!
Thanks for all of your continued hard work
did your nav coins arrive on polo yet? Lol no not arrived yet. Its not a problem with Nav its Poloniex - they have zero support! 3 weeks and still no reply or my coins! damn 3 weeks? I'm only at my first week waiting, guess I have to lower my expectations even more. Or worse give up that Polo will never answer the tickets I filled or get my nav coins back. You WILL get them back... eventually, but it takes them to have to go in manually and credit you. Why on earth they don't have an automated "flush" on all coins that looks at whats come in and gone out, notice there is a difference and alert an admin is beyond me. I know of no other company on the planet that treats its customers so badly and thinks that 45 days is "ok" in this day and age to even answer a ticket - yes there are people still waiting for tickets to be read after 45 days even now! To reiterate the problem is NOT Nav it is POLONIEX. And not just Nav. They harp on about how the secc has them doing this that and the other but they don't audit themselves. Tristan (Owner) earns too much money from doing nothing these days and will just sell Polo off eventually. Why hire more staff that effects his profits when he can take down all forms of communication (notice the troll box has gone?) not have a phone number and ignore all support emails? There is nothing you can do - believe me I have tried. You just have to wait.

NAV HAS BEEN DISABLED ON POLONIEX
NAV is currently under maintenance or experiencing wallet/network issues. Deposits and withdrawals will remain disabled until a solution is found, which may require an update from the NAV team. Any updates must be tested and audited before enabling.
Considering I am in my third week of waiting for a Polo ticket to be replied to (about NAV stuck again) looks like this won't be a quick fix. So Bittrex and Changelly for now I guess folks.
Nothing to be alarmed off. I am sure they are updating to 4.0.4. It happened last week with LTC...or the week before.... Hmm well Nav has been re enabled on Poloniex, but still no reply from them about my stuck nav - yes thousands of confirms on the BC but not credited to me yet.

So, my Nav Pi stake box arrived today.....
Am I missing something as it appears to be a regular Pi 3 with a Nav sticker on it? but cost 4x the amount of a regular pi 3?
That is one hell of a mark up for a sticker.
I recall originally it was going to ship with a touch screen?
So am I right in thinking I now have to buy my own PSU, a mouse, a keyboard and HDMI cable or a touchscreen and a PSU?
Im not against donating to dev costs etc. (and I have over the last 3 years believe me) , but this is a bit of a surprise.
Maybe there is some free nav in the wallet? If not think I just paid $60 for a Nav sticker?
I can't tell if it works or not yet as I need to buy all the other bits to get it working....
I really hope we are not sending them to the press like this as they will have the same problem.
I feel like I just bought a Plasystion 4 "BOX" off of eBay. - You know - just the cardboard box....
I am very surprised that you are surprised. There is nothing written about a touch screen and never was.. Its indeed "just a raspberry pi 3 and a sticker", but there is MORE. So there is a case for the Pi and an SD card. On the website is written it doesn't come with a charger/PSU , why? Since most people have 10 micro USB chargers laying around its a waste to add one. If you don't have one, you can buy it for a few $. Also don't forget about the software. It is prepared for usage. This means the software is flashed onto the SD and configured for easy usage. So yes the raspberry might cost 35$ don't forget about the case (20$?), SD (15$?). My guess around 70$ in materials and that's without the labor they have to put in and the risk of running a business. 4x the original price... I think you over take it a little over the top here. tl:dr Your calculation is way off. The price is fair and in the store everything is written correct. I have no more info on this than you. Just my analysis of the situation. OH and... No NavCoin in your wallet I am very very surprised that you are surprised that I am surprised There was talk of a touch screen originally which is why I mentioned it. It would have been cheap if it had the touch screen My main point was that if you send this to the press its not plug and play. With the touch screen it would be, add a few nav and they might bother to fire it up as it really would be ready to go and kinda cool. The opening of a "oh look a pi 3" is soon defeated when you think (like I did) but I need to unplug my monitor, keyboard and power it somehow (although I take your point about the psu) Im not fussed about the cash as I know I have one of the first batch which will be worth millions in years to come. And it may have been touched by our lord and saviour Craig (aka Ed Sheeran) - hmmm do you think they will send me a letter of authenticity?...... I will get my coat.....

Be careful there, you might get called names like pathetic whiner (multiple times) if you don't agree with their policy Oh I have been called worse than that on here. Having said that, at least it hasn't been deleted, which is something they used to do to me all the time. Having said all that I can't knock Craigs new direction with nav and the team. A far cry from the 300 sat Nav I bought into many moons ago I do moan a lot, but if you saw my haircut - you would see why!
