Contact support@

Seriously Huh You're kidding right Huh
I have contacted support several times and I got nothing for it. I asked for the SSH login and I wasn't even told it was root/root. That should've been in the documentation.

Why can't tech support provide a written troubleshooting guide I can follow Huh

I also requested RMS to return the several DOA SP20 I received in my 15 SP20 order and I have not recieved that either.

From Minersource?

Huh? What's a Minersource Huh
63  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SP20 settings on: February 14, 2015, 06:11:48 PM
On the SP20 Settings page it says
Code:
Set your starting voltage no more then 10 mv under your stable working voltage (from ASIC stats page)

But when I search the ASIC Stats page the word "stable" does NOT appear. Where do I get this "stable working voltage (from ASIC stats page)" I'm supposed to enter on the Settings page Huh

I recently received 15 SP20s and I cannot get them all running. Several have the problem of dead or idle boards. Is there a way to wake them up and get them hashing or are they just plain old DOA Huh  Below is an example powered by a dedicated Corsair AX1200:

65  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam - Any Thoughts or Experiances on: February 07, 2015, 03:55:39 PM
Hard to say (same for about all bitcoin sites). They have at least a comprehensible business model.
There is just one big negative point in comparison to BTC lending club: BTCJam earns interest when loans are activated, BTC lending club when they are repaid. Thus, BTCJam is earning even with scam loans.

What an excellent point. Why should BTCjam get paid if the lender does not get paid Huh
66  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: subvers on: February 07, 2015, 03:08:12 PM

How can I include the name of my node in subVer  Huh
E.g., these guys are likely doing it to advertise their pool:
Code:
"subver" : "/mining.bitcoinaffiliatenetwork.com chicago:0.10.99/",

Legendary, is that a euphemism for blow hard, windy, verbose or gas bag Huh

Where did all the BitCoin go from the lag Huh  Did the pool boy pocket them Huh

Eligius has the worst payout system imaginable  Angry

But you saw the "luck", right?

What luck  Huh  You're diluted if you think this pool has a statiscal advantage over any other.

I only see the bad luck of a pool that does NOT pay out  Angry

I have not been paid in 6 days and I'm owed B1.66. My place in the queue keeps moving backwards. It says there's 6 blocks ahead of me and then 6 blocks are found and it says there's 5 blocks ahead of me. Where did all the BTC go that are in the lag Huh The amount I'm owed keeps dropping as well.  Huh

Are you still actively mining or did you move your miners to another pool?

I have 8T mining. Eligius has the worst payout system imaginable. Why would anybody in this pool Huh

73  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: January 02, 2015, 06:38:38 PM
Hello, I searched but didn't find an answer to my problem, although I found similar symptoms, so here goes.

I upgraded the firmware in my S3+ today. The install never completed -- the page telling me to wait remained up for more than an hour.  When I finally restarted the unit, it I could not get to the login  page.

When it starts, the green light flickers a few seconds, then stops. The red light continues flashing. The fans do not run.

I can't access the device at 192.168.1.99. There is no login page.
Holding reset button for 10 secs does absolutely nothing at all.
I tried switching the power connectors around. Tried a different supply.

Any ideas of where to go from here?

The same happened me on a couple of miners. I just kept pressing reset button and cycling the power until it worked. The Dec fw works better than the Oct fw.

I cannot find anything in my account that says what I've earned, what I've been paid, and what I'm owed. To say I don't get paid until N exceeds 5 x difficulty + delta tells me exactly nothing. What is my N Huh  Do you have any plans to provide transparency for miners Huh

I think PPLNS is the worst thing ever conceived for miners. I can see why you like it since payouts significantly lag work done.

I guess in 14 hours I'll see how much I'm paid for the first block found since I started mining here.
75  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [4000 TH] CKPool (www.kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: December 26, 2014, 11:15:47 PM
Hi all,

Just found your pool. Nice work been mining here since 12/26. Seems all is well I like the keep it simple. Very easy to use. I like the anti-hopper 500%. It was frustrating at other pools to be on for 10 hours then watch 1000th show up at 80% of the block done.

Regards,

JRu

Huh Huh "... 80% of the block done." What's that mean Huh

Tried to point WestHash put was told connection was disconnected because the pool's extranonce was too long. Is there a fix for this Huh

As Axiste explained, I added a user name and password to the S3s Miner Configuration Pool 1 table:
stratum+tcp://192.168.1.253:3333
S3_13
pw

Since I started mining SHA through the Stratum Proxy my HW errors have skyrocketed, up over 100x. Anyone know why Huh
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MultiMiner: Any Miner, Any Where, on Any Device (Free, Open Source, Cross Platform) on: December 26, 2014, 03:16:21 PM
In the MuM Configure Strategies there are two lines that both say "Don't mine coins less profitable than." The first line is followed by a pulldown menu to select a coin. The second line is followed by an empty box. What goes in the box Huh
I tried a number, e.g. 105, to mean a coin must be 5% more profitable than BitCoin to be mined. But that does nothing.
There is no explanation offered if one clicks on the Help question mark: https://github.com/nwoolls/MultiMiner/wiki/Auto-Mining-Strategies
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MultiMiner: Any Miner, Any Where, on Any Device (Free, Open Source, Cross Platform) on: December 25, 2014, 03:54:19 PM
make sure the stratum proxy is turned on in the settings, then scan hardware (shouldnt need to scan in newer versions) then righ clock the proxy device, set the coin it is to mine, then click start.
If you close MultiMiner, and reopen it, then you need to click start again.

then point all your miners to the MultiMiner box IP address and the port for stratum or http port of your proxy. Ensure any firewalls have the port set to open (eg windows firewall).
Thanks, but it still does not work. I created a new Inbound Rule in Win7 firewall called Stratum Proxy to open 3333 to all. I have enabled Stratum port 3333 under Advanced miner settings/Proxy settings. I've scanned hardware and see all my S3s in MuM under Network. I saw somewhere that if they're mining via the stratum proxy that they stop appearing under Network. In the section called Proxy I checked the box Stratum Proxy #1 that says it's mining BitCoin.

MuM is set to "Begin mining when the app starts" and I've also tried clicking the Restart below the Stop button.

How do I point an S3 Huh
I entered stratum+tcp://192.168.1.253:3333 under Miner Configuration Pool 1. I left worker and password blank. I also tried 192.168.1.253:3333.
This PC is running MuM 3.8.1 with IP address 192.168.1.253
TIA
