We are launching the coin tonight at 0:00 EST , Mining software has been posted on the OP and we will be posting wallets soon.

Oh,no,qubit eats more power than x11 and x13
maybe u r using non-optmized x11 and x13. anyway @dev if you really want very very low power algorithm why not use Freshcoin algo: simd-shavite-simd-shavite-echo it run quarter of x11 temp Freshcoin algo was one of the choices we had in mind, but Qubit was the one that gave us the best results. We hope to receive feedback tomorrow when the coin is launched, wether the feedback is positive or negative it will be well taken and applied towards giving the community a better coin.

can put countdown on OP ? What is the launch time ?
I will Post the official launch time for tuesday on the OP in the morning after I speak to the dev team.

Oh,no,qubit eats more power than x11 and x13
We conducted testing with different algorithms, including X11 and X13 and this algorithm was the most energy efficient. This is merely based on testing, you may differ on your opinion, we base our answer on test results.

We mentioned the algo is called Qubit on the first paragraph : " Xryptbit is a new crytocurrency that uses the Qubit algorithm (Luffa, Cubehash, Shavite, Simd and Echo) proving to be more secure and energy efficient than X11/X13/X15 consuming 15-20% less power."
We have optimized the algos in this coin for a smooth mining experience. Thanks for pointing this out, we are open to any feedback that can help us deliver the community a quality coin.
No. Your team either had a communication problem of some sort by which not all of you understood that this particular chain of algo's is called qubit, and it is not a new algo. That, or it was an elaborate scam attempt of some sort. Qubit is optimized as it is, that's a fact. Now to claim that you have optimized it is nonsense. And to top it off when you were asked you said you mentioned it was qubit while you just edited the OP. Proof: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:r_C353iQrBoJ:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php%3Ftopic%3D722102.0+&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk... We were not aware that this particular chain of algo was called Qubit, we never claimed ownership of it, we simply stated that it was the one that gave us the best results. The OP has been modified, and will continue to be modified so new readers get a clear picture from that start. We appreciate the comments, wether positive or negative, as it will help us improve. If you wish to say this coin is a scam (elaborate or not) you are free to say so, it is up to our team to show you otherwise. We hope that when the coin is launch you can test it and is able to satisfy your needs.

ok whatever when the fuck is launch
![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) It says it on the title and on the main paragraph that Xryptbit is launching on tuesday.

CPU? GPU?
Can be mined with either CPU or GPU.

We have zero relation to the company 'Invictus Innovations'. Sorry for any confusion!
Yes. What a coincidence! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) SCAM ALERT SCAM? Really? You have been posting scam on pretty much every coin on this forum, I am suprised you have not been banned yet. Respect the work of the developers in this forum, if you cant ellaborate on why our coin is a scam, I invite you to find something better to do, on the meantime let the grown ups do grown un talk. Very childish on your side dude.

Algo is Not nist5 ?
algo is qubit on disguise Algo is Not nist5 ?
No, it is not NIST5 (BLAKE - Grøstl - JH - Keccak - Skein). Our algo uses the following algorithms: Luffa, Cubehash, Shavite, Simd and Echo. man your hash fuction is called qubit...learn to algo We mentioned the algo is called Qubit on the first paragraph : " Xryptbit is a new crytocurrency that uses the Qubit algorithm (Luffa, Cubehash, Shavite, Simd and Echo) proving to be more secure and energy efficient than X11/X13/X15 consuming 15-20% less power." I wonder about that custom sgminer of yours since qubit is nothing new.
I worded custom sgminer wrong, we are going to compile qubit miner with our coins name and post the source on github.

|
|
so you are going to use plain qubit ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) It'snt a new algo and it has already been ported to gpu (nvidia/amd) The Xryptbit team never claimed this was a new algo nor that we had created it. We chose to use this algo after weeks of testing given the fact it gave us the best results.

I'm pretty interested on the "Energy Efficient" part of your coin, can you elaborate more about this specific point?
This algo consumes less power then x11,x13 & x15. Making this a very cpu/gpu friendly algo. Great for summer days ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I don't think so, these algo are really fast, low memory access, meaning they will run at full power... They are power efficient (meaning all the ressource of the gpu is used for hashing and there is little time lost in accessing memory...) Anyhow can you give the exact definition of your algo so that everybody has a fair launch. (there is no reason to advantage amd over nvidia and the other way you just decide to disadvantage a minority.... ) Hello, please check the "Resources" Section in the main page, I have added information about each algo used for this coin.

Would you provide any detail about how to mine the coin ? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) This coin can be mined only using your CPU/GPU, we will provide users with a custom version of sgminer on launch date Will you also provide a ccminer fork? Initially we are not planning to fork ccminer for this coin, however we will add this to future developments.
