I am going to disagree with you there, no market can be predicted with a simple line on a graph, the markets are not governed by natural laws like gravity its all about human behaviour, the price will continue to fall until people start buying, so if you wait to 23 to fill your bag it will begin to rise at 23, however if you started filling your bag now then 29 would be the bottom. The scary thing is that the bottom is actually 0 and if nobody buys it will go there, so my advice is to add additional selling sources and hope more people come onboard. In the end you are right. Its human behaviour. But you can analyse it! The pump is over, we going back where we have been before. Thats a fact!  Happy trading to all  |

Anyone wanna quick explain the process of updating to the new wallet? I will manually back up the .dat file to a USB. Just want to be 10000% sure so I don't screw myself and lose my coins. Thanks!
Downloading new wallet version setup, closing current wallet, install, start....done! Win7 x64SP1 all Updates Sending and Reciving DGB went fine! Good Luck, I backed up my wallet.dat as well. But just 4 safety!  |

All that being said, the price over the next few weeks doesn't make a difference. For DigiByte; prices go up and down; and, value increases. Eventually, in a good marketplace, prices and value reach equilibrium. DigiSpeed doesn't add new users, or merchants. It adds new value. It provides ability to tailor scalable services to markets like e-commerce, gaming, m-commerce, social media, and other blockchain-based commerce solutions.

1. I read about Bitcoin, after i got into mining with Litecoin, then i swaped to Dogecoin. Difficulty was to high so i search Reddit for other coins, finaly i found Digibyte. 2. Dedicated work over 1 year from the community as well as the Devteam. Technical DGB search ways to improve everytime...there will be few more forks i guess. We just still develop, looking for the best. 3. Mouth to Mouth, telling Friends etc. , done some phone calls, promoting in chats and when im ingame  4. Hardfork to Multialgo, this was a big step for shure! 5. In the near future we have a lot to do. Developing finding solutions growing promotions getting more investors on etc. If we doing it constantly and puting our effort and belive in crypto DGB will be the winner. "winner" for me its not like we made money out of (nothing) only technology, "winner" means for me that DigiByte Payment Network & Digital Currency will be a know spoken word to do micro payment all over the world! |

If word of mouth is what is wanted right now, should be about time to make a DGB post on the LOL reddit, get it bumped onto the front page with community support.
Have to be ready though because a mad amount of users will join.

This might be a good time to remind people that anyone running a full core wallet is adding a node to our network, it does not need to have any DigiByte in it but it does need to be connected to the internet. Nodes are critical to the decentralized DigiByte network and just by having one you are supporting this project in one of the best ways that everyone can. Hi, Nice to remind us that ! (or learn us) I'm thinking about to install the core wallet in an other PC for that purpose. I don't understand too much about networks and and how crytpo currencies works, but better than installing a unused core wallet on ours PCs or having our main wallet always open: Could someone modify a core wallet just to make it works like a node only ? A light soft just working in the background when the PC starts. With no digibytes in, no wallet.dat. We could call it "DigiNode" soft or something like that. It has to have different files names and different working directories, that we couldn't be confused with a real core wallet directories and files. So in one year or two we won't be asking our self, if it's a real wallet or not, that we'll have to backup the wallet.dat. An easy install or a simple portable soft. Of course this “B” "DigiNode" soft has to be working fine with a normal wallet in the same PC. It may be silly but to avoid any loose of data (in a shutdown or other...) i prefer not to have my main wallet always open. i launch it only to synchronize or when i'm expecting an incoming. (Like i suppose, others DigiByte users do.) I'm sure that everyone involved in Digibyte will run such a soft in his PC to improve /make stronger the DigiByte networks. Just an idea... Apologize my English and the idea if it's artless. Yes i have it on few workstation. Needs 512 MB RAM permanent maybe a little bit more. So not good for small machines! We need a lightwight Node Software for all! Next Project for the DEV team! |

It seems like most of the mining pools supporting Scrypt on the OP are dead or non functioning. Can we get that list updated? It really doesn't look good when info on the OP is outdated or, incorrect. I'm sure there are more than 3 functioning Scrypt pools for DGB but, the list doesn't reflect that.
And, the link for the "Digihash Easy Miner" on the OP goes to a post where the download link brings back: "Not Found The requested URL "/sites/digibyte.co/files/DigiHashSetup.exe" was not found on this server." If it doesn't exist, how about removing the link? It may seem trivial to some of you but, I assure you, it all goes to professionalism. These forums are where most people land first, lets look good shall we? Yes you are totaly right. I will get again more active next week to clean up. Will start with Reddit and get updates in. Maybe we can get all informations in view clean overviewed Topics in the DGB forum. |
