The OP could really use an update.  The same questions are getting asked 100 times while usually have the answer in the last few pages......For the 101st time "Errror reading file" does not really mean there is a problem, you will use that file just fine. If the plot generator completes it will go away, if not you will keep getting the error but the file is actually used. For the 102nd time, yes you can mine while plots are still generating and the error reading file is normal.

This thread contains all of the info to get up and running, yes who wants to review 300 some pages to get the info you need when you can just make a new post and hope someone answers. An FAQ section in first post with some of the recurring questions would help. Someone even made a tutorial I think that could be linked.

Sure man thx for info but I have one more question. I was on pool page and in Current allowed users is my wallet displayed. In Current user balances is not. Does it means for last 3 hours of mining program running I got 0 coins ? Or when I even start getting any coins ?

I m hoping for reply too  Cry

Thanks, i followed exactly what u told me. I m now plotting and mining.  I'm getting the message " Error reading file : 1231543_0_13215465_1000 No valid shares to submit to pool", it's normal right?

BTW i saw you mentioning about the pool ip. My config is this.

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -cp pocminer_pool.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer_pool.POCMiner mine http://127.0.0.1:8125 http://178.62.39.204:8121

correct?

Hey guys so I just wanna know If im doing all right. My 6 tb hdd just generating something and its done 5000 from 20 800 000. I feel like im gonna wait 1 month before I can even start mine Cheesy . Isnt 5 TB plot a little bit much ? Should I make any little smaller ? And can I even start pool mining when I generate plots on solo miner?

You can mine while you'r generating plots  Smiley

But on tutorial its saying I have to generate plots on solo miner first and then move them in folder with pool miner Smiley . So how I am supposed to do this while its still generating ? Smiley

Or you can copy the pool miner Smiley

Just copy two files will do right? The poolminer and bat file?

I copied all files and folders: except the plots folder and the run_generate bat file.
I am on uray's pool and I believe that there are differences in the source (lib should be ok) folder and the pocminer.jar

ATM I use same config and getting same error as you. Error reading file : 1231543_0_13215465_1000 . I think this shouldnt be there ?

Any progress man ? I keep it running in this mode and its still saying the same error code again and again.

sure i did that and now it looks like a this :

http://postimg.org/image/9geh7276x/

is it all correct ? does i started mining now? Smiley

need to change 127.0.0.1 to the pool IP

So how should my file look like ? I have this inside - like exactly what they have on pool site

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -cp pocminer_pool.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer_pool.POCMiner mine http://127.0.0.1:8125 http://thispoolsip

but its saying Unable to get mining info from wallet.

How to make this command correct ?

BTW additional and maybe kinda stupid question - what gonna happend when I stop run_generate file and miner ? Will it continue from where it stopped or I will have to repeat whole process from the start ? Ill need stop generating for an hour because of work and ofc I dont wanna lose all my progress.

hey guys, im thinking about to buy new HDD just for it. What do you think about Western Digital Green 6000GB 64MB cache . Is it viable ? How many coins for a day I can expect with that ?

2x3TB are better they cost less, actually the seagate barracuda is the best for 3tb, equal cost to WD but with 7200rpm, easy to resell

man i dont care about resell them because my eshop offer to return goods back in 2 months without giving them reason if you pay 10e fee. So my plan is clear I will back that hdd after 1 month and 29 days of use im just asking if this is the best one for mining.

Can somebody please post working v2 config im getting seriously mad of this. Downloaded like 3 versions of clients edited tons of files as ppls reccomend in their tutorials and im still getting error messages from client and dont even have generated any file in Plot folder because I just have no idea how to generate any of that files. Wasted 20 hours and im still at start im so disappointed its not working for me.

if you would like to add my work skype I can help you... you can add my home one too, if you'd like.

work - jason.metamation

home - crowetic

Maybe someone should do a youtube videos how-to guide for Burst in general....

I agree with that any easy 3 min tutorial could save many lifes of ppls hanging themself on keyboard cable after xxxxxx unsuccess tries.
