@Matthew N. Wright, this is your only warning, if you continue negging me. I will put resolute force behind my words, and with this and only this, will you ever be told.
I admit I had to look up what "negging" meant. "Low-grade insults meant to undermine the self-confidence of a woman so she might be more vulnerable to your advances." Matthew might be provoking you a bit but I'm pretty sure he is not hitting on you. We don't really know that for sure, and don't we all want love at the end of the day? Though the finger pointing is kinda getting old.

So once we get all the pissing out of the way, it's safe to say that it is not a guarantee that anyone is getting BTC back despite MiningBuddy's best efforts? I'm kinda bummed, but it was sunk cost anyway, and I can still eat food with or without the BTC I put into it. Good on you MiningBuddy for stepping up to the plate and trying to help calm this shitstorm, cause even if everyone else on this board wants your head on a pike now, you're still the one who tried to put this back together, and that's more than anyone else on the board can say.

Google Goggles on Android 2.3
I think it might have something to do with starting the URL off with 'http:/', one slash instead of two.

Like that it's mobile friendly, but scanner bounces the QR code to a Google search for the URL. Might want to fix that when it goes gold.

Stupid government currency buying us food and shit, who needs them?

Right, so OTC or somewhere more formal?

Might as well use this instead of opening a new topic for a similar question, but what is the average turnaround time for Gox->Dwolla, and if it's more than 15 minutes or so, would it be worthwhile to consider another exchange?

So, are they back on the "tolerable to do business with" list?

Was kinda being facetious, but your point still stands.

Might want to put a contact link somewhere on the page, even if it just goes back to here.
Also, could the capacity to auto deposit Catapult Payloads sent to an email address be added, in case it catches on as a form of payment? Might want to consider staggered withdraw and reloadable deposits if you want to integrate on-site wallet functionality, but for your current scope, it looks great.

You would be in the hole with the account, so you would probably get an overdraft at least. I guess you could jettison the account if it's a burner, but I'd personally put it in good standing before I opened another. Consider AlertPay if the first one falls through?

Should we really give him the scammer tag? That would imply that he could actually pull off a scam while intending to do so.

I've been semi-privately trying to get a PayPal <-> Bitcoin exchange for a while now, and the top priority is speed. Green Addresses only work one way, but you might want to drop minibits into a series of Instawallets or Coinapult, and start emailing those out. I've been trying to get something working with VirWoX now that BitInstant has an in and you wouldn't have to deal with PayPal at all in theory, but the fees would probably eat your margin and then some, and I dunno what to do about that, outside of deposit in bulk?
Also, a mobile friendly website is a happy website.

I don't have control of the domain name, I am still trying to sort everything out. The project is as good as paused at the moment.
Thanks again for handling this toxic cleanup. Probably need it with all the crap flying your way over this. ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif)

Dammit, I really liked Instawallet and if it goes down, can't throw around URLs for payments anymore...

Ironically, this will make Bitcoin world MORE anonymous, as more US people will now use the anonymous cash deposits at banks via BitInstant instead of Dwolla (it was already much faster... now it's more far more private as well).
That's not ironic. Dwolla is covering it's own ass and doesn't give a rip about how Bitcoin will run with or without it. I would give them my life story if it meant that I could get stuff from here to there faster, but the 30 day thing kills it for me.

McGuyver if his crazy abilities were real
A lot of his stuff was. Egg in the radiator of a car would patch it, for example.

I freaking love that movie. You know that the Spatula City building was actually a tourist spot while the movie was shooting?

Aurum does have their loyalty card for $25 that allows you to withdraw USD to their debit immediately. And I'm working on what could possibly be the fastest cash out in the west. But it's secret right now, so shhhh!
