62  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pockie Soccer Pick's [Track Record] on: January 25, 2015, 02:02:36 AM
well, Chelsea is strong this season, so his bet wasn't unreasonable. Risky yes, but not unreasonable. Hope to see some more picks, despite the first loss.

Liverpool's current form is pretty good..n that too the game at their home..!! They r unbeaten in 6 straight games..! He could have rather gone for Real Madrid or Bayern for his first pick..! Dominate the game..n Play to win each time.!! Chelsea Did not have a shot on goal yesterday..other than the converted penalty.! The game was dominated by L'pool...most parts.! soo...Winning both halfs?? It was kinda unreasonable bet..!

Not really, Liverpool are midtable, Chelsea are dominant.  Ok the game didn't go that way, but it wasn't unreasonable and 6.6 seems like a dcent price to me.
That is is a league cup game played against the bet though, I'd be much more confident if it were a league game.
Yeah in EPL the possibility would have been greater..but We r talking about liverpool playing at Anfield! I still am not sure about that happening..!! Winning the game?? sure..but both halfs? not really.!! if it was Leicester City..then probably yeah.!

64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you use this cryptocurrency for gambling? on: January 25, 2015, 01:43:17 AM
Hello lads and ladies! We're doing some market research as we're working on a new kind of cryptocurrency that will guarantee the stability of a fiat currency, i.e. $, completely instant and free transactions/payments, decentralised, easily traded to and from fiat at all times, and of course anonymous.

Is this something you would be interested in for gambling purposes?

If your answer is no, it'd be most appreciated if you could mention why.
Also it'd be very kind if you could mention where you're from and why you are gambling with bitcoins/crypto at the moment.
Many thanks for your time, all feedback is very much appreciated. Smiley

Cheers!

Well...uve listed pretty much everything that I want. Can u make something like that?
65  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of SPORTSBOOKS. Input from players and books wanted. on: January 25, 2015, 01:38:44 AM
Has anyone tried out BTCbet . And why is there odds difference on Nitrogen and Directbet.
DB seems to offer better odds a lot of times. But overall which sites are better for odds ?

Nitrogen is one of the best books as far as margins are concerned. DirectBet is one of the worst. Nitrogen, Betcoinsports, Casinobitcoin and Cloudbet are all reduced juice shops.

Ive been using Directbet for quite a while now n havent faced any problems yet. Could you tell me y is it one of the worst? I have used Nitrogen before..!! they take ages to grade games. Quite a lot of the time I see on chat users asking mods to "please grade xyz game". But I like Nitro too other than that. I generally have seen better odds for favs in directbet than nitro. the only complaint I have on Directbet is that they hardly worked on their look. It looks like some amateur made that site.

73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Will End the Nation State on: January 24, 2015, 01:52:41 PM
Ecuador's official currency is the U.S. Dollar, but I understand they want to outlaw Bitcoin and launch their own government cryptocurrency.

There you go then. The nation state controls the environment for a concurrency to flourish or vanish!

they might try to force it on us..But it is up to us to accept it or not.! The masses can alter the decision taken by the nation state.!
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: +3 for bitcoin in ireland on: January 24, 2015, 01:50:19 PM
That's seriously great... You guys are doing great... I hope Bitcoins may get allowed to trade here in my country India freely, as our Governor is also showing interest in allowing BTC at places to be traded or to be paid for tangible/intangible things as a few exchanges were closed down last year...

Even though the Governor is showing interest..!! It would take probably a year or two in India.!! I know for a fact that everything happens at tortoise pace until they have some personal benefits from it.!
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The madness of cryptocurrency on: January 24, 2015, 01:25:30 PM
It will take a long time for people to understand why cryptos are different and beautful right now there is real appreciation of this technology. Failure to adopt these sort of transformative technologies will be a problem but it takes time.

Yeah it would probably take 2 to 3 more years for it to be understood n adopted by regular masses.!
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm back in! on: January 24, 2015, 01:19:28 PM
The price is right, so today I transfered money to Bitstamp and tomorrow I will buy Bitcoin again!

As Zhou Tonged said before their video was taken down, Price Down, Pick up!

With everything happening in the bitcoin space plus price being ridiculously low, I ones again for the first time in over a year is buying. Just wanted to let you know about my optimism  Grin

Again ? WHat price did you earlier sell your bitcoin at ?

I'm sorry if it sounded as if I have sold ALL my bitcoins. I have not, not even close. I sold about 5% between $700-1000 (I diversified). But I have not invested any more money into bitcoin for over a year, until now.

Oh ok . Thats great . I still didn't understand the reference of coming back in, if you always were Smiley

Lol..yeah as long as you have Bitcoins in possession..! You r still IN.!!
77  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Slow performance at Crypto Coinsnews on: January 24, 2015, 01:17:00 PM
Just wondering if anyone else experiences slow performance at https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-price/
When I load the website my Firefox browser starts to lag, I get an intermittent "not responding" and it just locks up?

My PC is good spec, so it’s not a hardware issue.

It works just fine on my PC...! its probably your internet connection issue.!
78  Other / Meta / Re: How to make a poll? on: January 24, 2015, 01:15:26 PM
Also, newbies seem not to be allowed to vote in polls, and also maybe can't create ones?

I guess they can make polls..but cant vote in one..coz they can spam votes easily.!
