61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: August 23, 2019, 08:57:07 AM
agree with you, but there is a different with investing and trading, investing need more time to take profit its not do for shortime.
trading can do for shortime, whenever you think you already get profit you can sell it.

All people, who deal with the cryptocurrencies are investors. Simply many of them are ready to wait for a long time until their crypto goes up as they are busy with something else. Day traders are also investors (no one will disagree here with me). Simply they manage to get profits (or lose) more often, and they are ready for it.

You can also invest before a bull run and seel crypto soon with profit.
62  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade - mistake? on: August 23, 2019, 08:54:08 AM
As long as you made a profit, small or big it's still profit. So, do not worry about that, disregard the regrets. You rely on the shortest timeframe and that is okay. It's just that we can't really sure that our predictions will really going to happen. We have actually the same indicators that are using. Maybe if you want better results, confirms it with the higher tf's like 1hr, 4hr or 1d.
This is what trading it takes, patience is always a key in order to succeed and earn more. But it is really hard when you never put 100% trust into your coin and also self-confidence. The most common mistake that traders did is the wrong choice of coins to trade and never lessen to people's advice.

Even if we been choosing good coins, and yet you don't decide selling at good price. Greed sometimes put us into bad situations which that mistakes made us regret in the long run. Once we failed to decide taking good profit, it's hard to wait for another price increase for our holdings.

If a guy is has started thinking that trading can be a great mistake for him, it is really a mistake, but only for him. It simply means that he should better deal with something that he likes at least a bit more. Trading (even with losses) must be interesting and exciting to people dealing with it.
And the more sincere interest they show, the better will be the results of their activity.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now is the time to invest into alt coin on: August 22, 2019, 08:15:55 PM
indeed this is the right time to buy some altcoin which is very good to invest, such as ethereum, XRP, bnb. because now is the right time to buy because the market is going down dramatically.

Cryptocurrencies are known for their volatility - such that many traditional investors are horrified by it. Even a strong depreciation does not mean that an irreparable catastrophe has occurred, but it is difficult to continue to think sensibly when you are quickly brought into the red zone. Diversification is a great strategy that can compensate for some of the volatility, but it takes some effort.
However, alts are a great way to invest money.
64  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just got into BTC on: August 22, 2019, 08:11:08 PM
Hello boys, I received a big amount of money in BTC & decided to keep it instead of putting it into my bank directly.

I'm really stressed about BTC, I don't wanna lose all this money because it's a big amount for me.

I don't know what to do anymore, wether holding or getting it into tether. Help
why you can really stressed about BTC? as long as you still to keep a secret key or still safe in your wallet, everyone certainly does not want to lose large amounts of money. if you want to make a big profit then it's better not to hold it for too long and don't keep it in the bank, you can exchange your BTC for USD or other coins on the market that have good potential in the future. all decisions are in your hands.

If you already have BTC, better hold it. The newbie in a crypto world, however, must not invest all money in Bitcoin. He must allocate funds between at least a dozen cryptocurrencies, which number is more than 2000. Focus on tokens from the top 50. Do not keep cryptocurrency on the exchange.
Once you have bought it, transfer money from the exchange to a wallet that only you control.
65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales Every time change the market?? on: August 22, 2019, 08:07:11 PM
Guys i have a serious  problem. Most of the time whales are controlling  the market with big profits. But how we can sell  the bitcoin at correct  time? Someone can say me please learn  aboth the trading. But the my idea is trading is just some patterns of market changes. Not rules. The market just can be  changed by whales and news anytime.

Very often, people simply exaggerate the whale’s market effect on the price of Bitcoin. A bit more than 30 largest crypto whales control about 7% of the total cryptocurrencies supply, and when you consider the lost BTC, this percentage will drop to 5-4%.
Only several whales are very active, and when they act, they are more likely to support the price of Bitcoin than to let it go down.
66  Economy / Economics / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos 2019: Bitcoin vs. Facebook Libra coin = End of retail bank on: August 21, 2019, 08:36:26 PM

Libra won't have any future in our ecosystem.
First of all Bitcoin and Libra are two totally different currencies.
And apart from that, Libra is fully centralized (as it is controlled by Facebook), a feature that our community doesn't like.
It may have a hype in the start but it will fall down sharply as people will start to realize that there is not any application of that coin to our ecosystem.

I stand to counter you on that. Libra do have a future in cryptocurrency it will not be as bright as bitcoin but yes it does have a future here. Even before its lunching there has been anticipation about the coin and this is not mere hype

However, still, investors do not understand the Libra working scheme, which is currently under development and is not disclosed. The fears of the project partners are also based on EU restrictions on taxes and money laundering, which may become an obstacle to the development of crypto business in the vastness of the Internet industry.
Facebook will perform the connecting function of accounting and verification of the transaction, without direct control of the currency.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 2000$ USD. Where you invest? on: August 21, 2019, 08:33:03 PM
2000$ is a huge amount you know and I will utilize it properly by investing 50% of it in gold, 20% for altcoin investment and 30% of it in bitcoin. In years to come, I can still have x2 of the amount provided

Today, 2 thousand is not such a great sum for the cryptocurrencies. Although, if you are a newbie, the best sum you should better start with is 100-200 dollars. If an expert uses this amount, I guess, he would choose Bitcoin and Ethereum and wait for 2020. It will be the time of Bitcoin halving and Ethereum 2.0 launch, which will affect the price of these leading cryptocurrencies.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we talk about Laszlos pizza but not the 1000 BTC poker tournament ? on: August 21, 2019, 08:15:49 PM
I believe, that these events like pizza, poker tournaments and other unmentioned things in their time had their share for BTC popularity.
BTC value is based on how much people willing to pay for it. These stories about 80 million dollar pizza just made the BTC more popular Smiley

There are rumors on the Internet that Satoshi was fond of Poker, and that he a connection with a famous tournament that took place in 2010. That time, the winner left the event with the "useless" prize of 1000 BTC. Guys, who remember about the first BTC Poker tournament, made up their mind to gamble for cryptocurrencies.
I guess it was one of the reasons why crypto casinos are so popular today.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 gives birth to too many shitcoins on: August 20, 2019, 08:07:45 PM
If we start counting all useless tokens in crypto space you will notice that most of this useless tokens are running on erc20 block chain ,many good altcoins ive came across have separate owned block chain and they are plain better, I guess the reason we have too many shit altcoins in crypto space is because of the flexibility of erc20 ,making it easy for unprofessionals to build there useless tokens.

We have some good altcoins that are running on erc20 but you will see then moving to their own block chain later on or it will be included in  their roadmap about the future swap.

The reason why I like tron block chain is the ability to get rid of fake tokens running on tron blockchain if ethereum can do this it will help a lot.

My answer is too many shitcoins are based on erc20.

To make ERC20 tokens is indeed very easy. Almost all of us can make ERC20 tokens. I think this is not a block chain problem that makes this token become trash or has no selling value. But the platform developed by parties using the ERC20 block chain does not work.
Tether (USDT) also uses the ERC20 blockchain, but they are running well. Even this coin has the same function as using a separate blockchain (Omni).
I think this is not a matter of blockchain being used, but rather who uses the blockchain.
Ethereum is constantly evolving, and is moving to Ethereum 2.0, there will be many new products and different standards, not only erc20, so I would prefer this cryptocurrency to the throne

The ERC-20 protocol is not always sufficient for token purposes. This is only the basis for the creation of Ethereum tokens, which does not guarantee their benefits, value or performance. ERC20 is also cryptocurrency that is created on the base of Ethereum blockchain.
Shitcoins, unfortunately, can be also released. However, ERC20 standard is still very useful, and it will be used long although ICO scams affected it negatively.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to be a good traders of altcoins? on: August 20, 2019, 07:55:19 PM
Being an altcoin trader is not easy, we must be able to be active in the market. Every day we have to check changes in the price of Coins.  We also have to be patient, and not greedy to get big profits.  And the most important thing is we have to understand, which coins have good potential.

For successful crypto trading, you must have sufficient knowledge. This will avoid stupid mistakes and minimize the risks of losing money. You should remember about:
1. Discipline. The market moves in a circle, sooner or later your perseverance will be rewarded.
2. Reasonable deal size. Do not invest more than the amount you are willing to lose.
3. Limitation of losses. make sure that the amount of losses does not exceed 1% of the deposit.
4. Learn from mistakes.
5. Patience above all.
71  Economy / Economics / Re: Time for investment on: August 20, 2019, 07:52:12 PM
yup its a good time to make money, prices are low and and can go up in coming time period. invest smartly and earn out of it.

That is what people say all the time about crypto. These years crypto is actually very low. I was very happy when Ethereum was at 1000 dollars, and i still think that we can still hit that again. When Bitcoin was New i thought it would be dead in the future. But it is still up.

It is a good time for investments for people, who have free money and who did not yet start dealing with the cryptocurrencies. I have already bought all cryptos I need, and now, I am holding them waiting for the Moonrise time. Nevertheless, there are 2 cryptos that are worth investing in them exactly now: Bitcoin and Ethereum. In 2020, they will go up rapidly (BTC halving + Ethereum 2.0).
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH 2.0 will cause FOMO or FUD? on: August 19, 2019, 08:20:53 PM
Every breaking news brings FOMO, everyone wanted to join early and doesn't want to miss the boat and get big profits. Even Bitcoin at the end of 2017 was all FOMO and look what happened. So what do you need to do? Not giving advise, but if you are a experienced trader, it's better to accumulate when a news break out, at least you are in in the beginning and can easily exited if you think you have gain enough before everything went down due to FUD. ETH is still the second coin in the market, but we will have to see how everything goes, but I'm sure FOMO will be there at the very onset.

I am sure that all people have this FOMO syndrome, and nothing can be done with it. Probably, it is the reason why people buy Ethereum so actively - they are waiting for the best changes after Ethereum 2.0 launch. However, I do not think that all can get benefits. To deal with staking, you will need to have at least 32 ETH, and not all guys now have this sum.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin Suffers A Huge Loss Of 9% on: August 19, 2019, 08:17:12 PM
Litecoin will experience a fairly deep decline. so prepare yourself to be LTC holders. if you are brave, maybe it's better to sell now than be late later. I see there is a possibility the price of Litecoin will go to $ 50 or even lower. let alone see the state of other coins such as bitcoin and ethereum which are experiencing the same conditions as litecoin. might be a trigger for the bear market.

I guess, although Litecoin is one of the best-rated cryptocurrencies, it is not so popular among the crypto users as other altcoins and Bitcoin. New investors do not know much about it, and the old ones are trying to make profits thanks to the new alts. Litecoin will grow, but you will have to wait for at least one year for it. Bitcoin halving will help LTC.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think ETH will bounce back to $600 or back below $100 ? on: August 19, 2019, 08:13:20 PM
Guys, i am new here, i was buying ETH today. I'm not really following this, i just thought ETH is still cheap now and 2020 seems cryptocurrency get many big event (libra, ETH 2.0, btc halving day)..
Did i wrong ? Did ETH still good ?

Everything that you do is right now. Ethereum will definitely go up in 2020 (you have explained the reasons for its growth). I doubt that ETH can fall under $100 again like it managed to do several months ago. Investments in this cryptocurrency is a very good decision. If you hols this token at least for a year or a bit more, you will be in a big plus.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Cryptocurrency on: August 18, 2019, 08:25:01 PM
What is everyone saying about the Facebook cryptocurrency Libra? I have really not been following up their waves of news. My question is, will it scale and do well?

If you say you are not following the news about Libra, why are you writing here, answering the question the guy asked? As for this FB coin, I believe that private companies, such as Facebook, which issue their own tokens and compete with fiat currencies in the free market, where participants have the opportunity to choose which is better for them to use, will bring unconditional benefit to users of digital currencies around the world.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which platform or altcoin is best for investing. on: August 18, 2019, 08:16:32 PM
Hey, guys can you give me a list of New altcoin or new cryptocurrency website where I can where can I invite my Crypto for Long time gains and quick short time gains without any risk.I know cryptocurrency is so risky but give me a best list.

If everything would be so simple, and we could have such a list (investments without risk), we would all get profits and do not open new threads on this Forum. The risk and cryptocurrency are connected all the time. By the way, any investment can be risky. You will just answer yourself if in case you lose, you will be in a great loss or if it won't affect you.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What threats does Libra pose on Bitcoin? on: August 17, 2019, 08:39:42 PM
If you are a crypto enthusiast - you will be just as interested in this topic as I am. I would like to learn your opinion on what threats does Libra pose on Bitcoin? I believe that this is a hot topic worth considering.

If it is launched, it will have no negative effect on the crypto market and Bitcoin will not fall. However, the appearance of Libra might affect other stable coins. Even now, when the token is not launched yet, people are ready to invest in Libra. Suppose, it will be a very good variant for those guys, who live in the countries with great inflation.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's compare what we pay for foods and grocery stuff! on: August 17, 2019, 07:58:43 PM
Maybe you should add metric equivalents for each item as the rest of the world won't have a clue what a pound or gallon is.

Where I'm at 4 litres of milk in a major supermarket in the UK, 3.7 litres is a US gallon, is $1.31 but we have decided to destroy our exchange rates.

12 medium free range eggs are $2.03.

The cheese would be $3.37 for a similar weight.

The UK has the cheapest food in Europe by quite a way. I noticed in the US you'd often have to pay way more for quality stuff, but the shit can be cheaper. A lot of the shit is unobtainable in Britain.

Thank you for destroying this system. Not all guys here live in the USA. As for me, I am the happy one, who never buys water as it is clear here simply. As for the prices for the other products mentioned in the list, I am surprised but we have to pay exactly these sums that are called.
However, taxes are too high here, and it is better to go to the market than to the store.
79  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sold too damn early!! Kicking myself... on: August 16, 2019, 07:02:19 PM
This is usually the way with me also. It has happened to me so many times. The alt would just be sitting there with little price movement or going downhill day by day, until my patience runs out and I sell it. Then a few hours or a few days after I sell, the price skyrockets. It's almost as if there's an evil spirit nearby urging me to sell ahead of the price explosion.

While average traders and small crypto investors are worrying about what to do - sell or hold. those, who invested millions and know more than we about these crypto movements are simply waiting for the moment when BTC starts going to the Moon.
I also have regrets about the past - I sold Bitcoin many times before I understood that it is better to hodl it.
80  Economy / Economics / Re: Supply and demand curve analysis, why Bitcoin does or does not change price. on: August 16, 2019, 06:50:39 PM
Supply and demand will get low and low eventually, demand is going strong but supply is not getting bigger at all, miners are mining around 2k bitcoin right now (around 1.8k) and that will be cut in half soon which is 900 bitcoin give or take, that is a ton of bitcoin that would not be sold on the market, that would eventually affect the price, not right away after the halving because I am sure they are saving a bit of it aside for "just in case" reasons but eventually that will be depleted as well so all they would have is the 900 bitcoin and this is not just one person or one mining company, its bunch of them sharing it.

Hence, I think its quite important to know that bitcoin will start going up in about 1 year (maybe a bit longer like 16-18 months) because miners will have less and less money to sell.

The demand for Bitcoin will be constantly growing, and this is evident. We know that the number of BTC will be not changed ever, and further, when more and more people will start entering the crypto market, this cryptocurrency will grow in price.
If you enter some popular exchange and look through its statistics you will see that more guys buy Bitcoin not sell it.
