61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of Crypto? on: December 11, 2019, 12:50:11 AM
In my opinion, cryptocurrency was created initially to eliminate or reduce the role of banks or central banks as middlemen in every transaction we make, so it becomes absurd when crypto banks are deemed necessary. We already have a private key and are also free to trade easily and I don't think crypto banks are needed except for exchangers
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take? on: December 11, 2019, 12:46:40 AM
What is your take on the dwindling of the prices of cryptos? What do you think are the factors behind its fluctuation? What is your percentage (%) backing on crypto investments? How about your investment portfolio, is the return on your investments (ROI) encouraging? What is your advice to crypto investors now?
Let us discuss.

In my opinion, the price fluctuating factor in the market is still around the fundamental issues. When there is an issue about a partner coin with another company, the price will usually go up and in my opinion price fluctuations are still speculative from investors
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people compare it to 2000's dot com bust if that bust killed most companies? on: December 11, 2019, 12:43:22 AM
If we look at the number of cryptocurrency in the market that reaches more than 4,500 in the coin marketcap, then it could be a buble burst happening in the cryptocurrency market. Of the more than 4,500 altcoins, in my opinion not many have products and are actively traded on the market so the opportunity for buble bursts is quite large
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deutsche Bank said Crypto will Replace Fiat Currencies by 2030! Really Possible? on: December 11, 2019, 12:39:44 AM
By 2030, the demand for alternative currencies will rise, with digital currencies eventually replacing cash, according to recent research from Deutsche Bank.  Shocked

What do you think as a Crypto Expert? What are the challenges? What things should be adopted to replace fiat?  Huh Huh

Research: https://www.dbresearch.com/PROD/RPS_EN-PROD/PROD0000000000503196/Imagine_2030.PDF
News Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/deutsche-bank-research-crypto-to-replace-fiat-currencies-by-2030

I am not an expert but in my opinion cryptocurrency in question remains controlled by the central bank. Maybe there are some altcoins that can be used as payment at merchants but in my opinion not all altcoins because only a few altcoins are seen as acceptable to many people as a means of payment
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC and coingecko on: December 10, 2019, 12:24:46 PM
Coingecko more trusted than coinmarketcap i guess.the difference can be seen from the coins listed on the two exchanges.
many fake fake market / coin volume in cmc, I usually use cmc to see the list price or newly listed coins, but after this happens, I prefer coingecko because the information is more accurate.

In terms of trust we can't tell which one is more trusted but I believe there are a lot of people who are using CMC compared the coingecko.
Some coins are not listed in CMC can be seen in coingecko and that is good as they provide more information.

as you can see in the comparison.

https://www.coingecko.com/en - 6278 coins

https://coinmarketcap.com/ - 4914 cryptocurrencies

Indeed, coins and tokens registered with Coingecko are more numerous than Coinmarketcap, but from the market value of the cryptocurrency market cap, there is no big difference. In my opinion, this indicates that many altcoins are not actively traded or might die.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins going to get the mainstream like 2017? on: December 10, 2019, 12:21:25 PM
There are thousands of altcoins listed on CMC. We had a little bit conversation between my friends. He was saying, only 30-35 altcoins can be useable in blockchain industry in future. Rest of them will be dying for sure. What do you think? What are the points to choose of a coin that might have a bright future? Only use case is the main thing or you will add other? Thanks

I agree with the statement that not many altcoins will last long. Bitcoin may still be a major investment in the cryptocurrency market in the long run but in my opinion there are some altcoins that will be there to survive and I think the coins or tokens are in the top 50 coinmarketcap
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you today $MATIC holders? on: December 10, 2019, 12:17:59 PM
I knew this mega dump will come on $MATIC since it was already over bought since its price rally. I don't know the real reason why dump happened.

Anyone here can drop news related to this event?

Until now, the information that can be obtained is that there are panicked investors and dump tokens that they have that make the MATIC price fall more than 50%. Today there are several tokens and coins whose prices dropped dramatically today at Binance but what looks dramatic is MATIC
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dont have the right to know WHO OWNS YOUR MONEY on: December 10, 2019, 09:41:40 AM
I don't think they want the location to be known because of security concerns. When it comes to the security of our funds, I think it is better for us to store our coins or tokens in the wallet that we hold our private key and the exchanger only functions as a place to trade, buy or sell.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't complain for too long. on: December 09, 2019, 06:27:14 AM
The alternative market has long awaited the next alt-season and has still been lagging in comparison to Bitcoins performance, but things may improve next year as the market matures further and more new investors arrive due to the more secure ways to invest becoming readily available and that should help the alt-coin market begin to revive

Agree, if we are not lucky this year, I think we can still hold our assets for next year. As long as we keep cryptos that are liquid and have large transactions, I think we don't need to worry if we hold them for the long term because crypto has begun to be recognized as a digital asset.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hide my money from my country on: December 09, 2019, 06:23:07 AM
Saving assets so that they are not tracked by the government using cryptocurrency in my opinion is quite effective, but the problem is that the price is volatile. Stable coins might be an option but in my opinion gold is a good investment besides crypto so that the government is difficult to track our assets
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 09, 2019, 06:19:56 AM
For altcoin which is good as an investment other than Bitcoin, I think there are some good coins for both short and long term investments. Especially for coins that are in the top 10 coinmarketcap has good potential as a long-term investment and I think will provide profits to investors.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alibaba cooperates with new blockchain platform, Is this project worth following on: December 09, 2019, 06:16:00 AM
From what I know, Alibaba already has its own payment method, Alipay. But if Alibaba decides to jump into the cryptocurrency or blockchain market, I think it will be very good because Alibaba is a pretty influential company in China and this will influence other companies to jump into the cryptocurrency market
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: not a rule! but it's about your common sense to avoid scam projects on: December 04, 2019, 10:05:13 AM
Regulasi aren't a golden bullet against scammers. As all those things become more obvious to the general public, scammers evolve to mimic decent projects with almost impeccable efficiency. Still, the most reasonable rule of investment isn't about ICOs or IPOs, it's just about your common sense. I mean no matter what, never spend more money than you can afford to lose.

In my opinion, regulation may not be everything to prevent a scam project but it will at least reduce new scam projects. With regulations, new projects that will sell tokens must meet the requirements in accordance with the regulations and mean they must report to the government that they will raise funds in project financing. From here, the government can prevent scam projects in the cryptocurrency market if there are clear regulations on crypto
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto world is presently not sane on: December 04, 2019, 10:01:15 AM
In red market its always a good idea to dump once you get the chance because many new projects are just failing even IEO projects dump after few weeks to month of trading but its still better to keep few coins because of tomorrow, no one knows what will happen for sure, but presently take out your profits as soon as you can, if this continues no new project will be spared and its thing that developers needs to start implementing something that will keep a coin or token at a good price, we are in dump season

It is difficult to predict the market in its current condition, prices are still volatile and there are many coins whose prices continue to fall. If we look at the market value of the cryptocurrency market cap, it is still stagnant in the range of $ 200 billion and in my opinion in the past few months there has been no increase
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expectation And Reality In The Current Situation on: December 04, 2019, 09:58:06 AM
When 2019 started you have a lot of expectation especially when the price is moving up again from a very long bear trend, you expect that the price will reach another all-time high this year, because of a lot of great news like the Facebook coming in the market.

I'd like to ask the community, is your expectation close to the reality that we've experiencing right now?

After the crypto market slowly declined in 2018, my expectations were inversely proportional to reality because the value of my portfolio dropped dramatically. But it happened because it was purely my own fault, not selling when prices were already high and greedy to expect prices to continue to rise
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long term hodl ! What a joke on: December 04, 2019, 09:54:15 AM
Why do you refuse to face the reality of the present state of the crypto market? I always laugh when I see people still talking about long term hodl when the reality is staring us in the face. Don't be a fool, only the smart are leading the race in the crypto sphere of today. Why do you decide to hodl when you know that the price may dump? Why not sell at the peak and then you can buy back at the bottom. The race is not to the fool but to the wise. Selling at the peak and buying back at bottom is wisdom but holding at the peak expecting a magic spike is foolishness. Bull run is not here yet, do not expect a magic spike. When the bull run is here, you don't need a prophet to tell you that. Be smart.

In my opinion, long term hold can apply to some coins, not all coins. For example BNB Coin, I think investors get huge profits if they hold for the long term and are proven from the price below $ 1 when the ICO and now it's above $ 15 even the highest price of $ 30. Long term hold can be profitable if we choose the right coin
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A piece of an advice on: December 03, 2019, 12:03:43 PM
Because a coin drops 84% doesn't mean it can't drop another 85%, trailed by one more 81%

DYOR, contribute, hold, take benefit, sell, Do whatever you wanna do however never "indiscriminately hold" since somebody said as much!

Your cash, your duty

Agree, coins that have fallen in price by 85% from the initial price can still go down again if there is no action from the developer team. Things like this often happen in the market, people think that when prices fall 85% is the right time to buy, even though the price may go down deeper and I agree that we should research first before buying coins or tokens
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: December 03, 2019, 12:00:16 PM
Over 850 millions of people use alipay as means of payment mostly in china and i heard lots about wepay as well, i come to think of it that what if bitcoin was been used in their places instead? if alipay and wepay can get to where they are today then altcoins have all the chances of survival as well. Wepay and Alipay are just online payment solution, crypto can do better.

Real use cases plus real life working products, let these two be your main focus when picking altcoins to invest your money on, do not listen to those saying 'dump altcoins for bitcoin' when you are holding solid altcoins

Alipay and wechatpay are mostly only used in China while Bitcoin is used by the whole world. Alipay and wechatpay are still controlled by the central bank because they are actually digital fiat money while Bitcoin is decentralized coins. For now, Bitcoin cannot be used in China due to a ban from the Chinese Government and hopefully in the next few years China is regulating it
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone working on any ideas for stable coins? on: December 03, 2019, 11:56:05 AM
I do not want it.
If we look at stablecoins that have been circulating, a lot of them. What I'm still confused about is why should there be another stable coin if the function is only to secure assets? only 3-5 stablecoin is enough.
On the other hand, stable coins must be backed up with FIAT or valuable commodities such as gold, which must be in large quantities. If we want to talk or develop a stable coin without the above, forget it. There you will only make scam coins.

There are many stable coins on the market for several reasons, one of which is a company that issues stable coins. Every company that wants to issue stable coins must have a dollar in the bank as a back up. In addition, some stable coins use a different network, some use a BNB chain and some use an Ethereum chain.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: December 03, 2019, 11:52:41 AM
New bounties are out now and i like few ones among them but i am presently stuck with ez365 because they add extra weeks making it 20 weeks, the longest one for me this year but i have no choice because ez365 ain't bad at all, i hope i don't end up wasting my tine

From what I know, the EZ365 bounty can exit the campaign at any time and we still get the stake that has been obtained. I think EZ365 is a good project and will continue the project even though the sale of tokens is not in line with the target
