Bayern this week can win its 28th national team!

Bayern will win the bundesliga if:

- wins against Rb Leipzig and simultaneously
-Schalke and Dortmund do not win their matches

Have lost so much money on coins that doesn't work well for me. My flaws are I'm  impatient and ignorant this maybe a good time to find some insight and good answers on how to get better

if you have already understood that you need to learn it is already a good start!
You can study books, watch videos, read forums to improve your trading knowledge, but you will also need a lot of patience and self-control.
63  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Straight HODL vs Trading on: March 16, 2018, 05:44:19 PM
What I mean by straight HODL is that your hold through the crashes and the rises until you inevitably cash our and by trading I mean that you hold for a few months and then sell into fiat and wait for the expected dip/recession.
What i've noticed over the past years is that if I was less greedy and just cashed out after a reasonable profit and then held until the inevitable crashed, I would have made much more money than if i just held or bought another coin.

An example of this is when I bought eth at 475 and sold at 1380.  Right after I sold I bought ltc at 230 thinking that it was gonna skyrocket after some of the money from the eth will flow back into the other coins.  The problem with that was that the entire market crashed and so if I were to just hold my fiat i would have been able to easily double my money.

Let me know what your guys's thoughts are on this.

I think that it is always better to diversify investments into more crypto because in this way the crypts that rise compensate for those that fall.
The question is different if the whole market goes down or goes up. in any case you should not be greedy thinking that the value of a crypto continues to rise, or have panic if it continues to fall. In this world we need a lot of patience.

I will try to share me predictions and thoughts about UCL and UEL quarterfinals. Team which will advance bolded.
Barcelona - Roma
I think it's more or less clear who whil advance further. For Barca it's most important to not understimate their opponents
Juventus - Real Madrid
Real is very unlucky with playoffs draws so far. I think that Real will win, Juve isn't that powerful as last year. Real now can focus on CL only, while Juve have difficult fight for Scudetto in Italy.
Sevilla - Bayern
Another pair with obvious favorite. I hardly can imagine Sevilla winning against Bayern in two games sum
Liverpool - Man City
Maybe City are favorites, but Liverpool already proved that they can win against Man City. We can expect for exciting matches in this pair

Atletico Madrid - Sporting
Lazio - RB Salzburg
Arsenal - CSKA Moscow
Red Bull Leipzig - Olympique Marseille
Leipzig and Olympique pair looks most interesting, both teams looks really solid so far.

I completely agree with your analysis, between Marseille and Rb Leipig maybe I see the Rb Leipzig slightly favored!

who will win the Motogp 2018 World Championship?

Marquez  @1.70
Dovizioso @7.50
Vinales     @8.50
V. Rossi   @10.00
Lorenzo   @11.00
Pedrosa   @13.00
Zarco        @15.00
Crutchlow @40.00

Marquez is obviously the big favorite.
Interesting the quote of Vinales at@8.50!
If Yamaha is competitive on all tracks he can fight for the victory of the world championship!
66  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading actually worth it? on: March 16, 2018, 07:38:58 AM
So yeah i'm just wondering whether can you make serious money with trading or is it more than not just gambling?

Are "pro traders" making millions, or are they barely getting by and need to sell their signals and such?

Not in a bull market anymore so i'm looking at trading as a way to make money, but not sure whether it actually works. Note i'm not complete newbie, but i was never really trading.

professionals or good traders can often make money.
Obviously it is a difficult job and without the right skills and knowledge it is very difficult to get a profit, indeed, it is easier to get losses.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you encourage friends and family to invest in crypto? on: March 16, 2018, 07:32:08 AM
I'm someone who loves to share.  When I discovered blockchain technology a while ago, I wanted to tell everyone.  I didn't stop with my friends and family.  I told colleagues at work, my doctor, and just about anyone who would listen.  Some who got in early made money and were very happy.  But others waited until after seeing the massive bull run to invest, and bought at the top.  Now I keep my mouth shut because I can't control how people invest.  Even though blockchain will change the world, there are still good and bad investments.  How about you?  Do you encourage others to invest in crypto?

it is right to inform and encourage their friends and family to know and invest in cryptocurrency because it has an excellent potential.
of course we must explain that there are risks, but it is currently one of the best investments possible!

It seems to me that Federer is the only top 10 player currently in form. Cilic has ok form as well but for some reason he is always awful on this tournament. Since I am from Croatia I have mostly watched matches from domestic players and I must say that I am very impressed how Borna Coric and Petra Martic played this week. OK, Petra is out but she played great match vs. Halep yesterday, really enjoyed the contest.
Well most of the players are currently injured and those who recently returned from injury are still not back to their best yet and even when they are their best, i doubt they would prove troublesome for Roger Federer who is enjoying a fine rejuvenation at this period.

Correct most of them are physical injuries or have a some sort of mental or personal issues to deal with. Just glad that Roger Federer is the last man standing and has taken care of his health up to this level. Remember last year and this year, he chooses which tournament to enter so that it will reduces pressure on his mind and body that why is is like Federer 2.0 so much energy and somewhat rejuvenated.

King Roger like good wine seems to improve getting older.
He is already in the semifinals at Indiana Wells (without losing 1 set) and if he wins the next match he will improve his personal record of consecutive wins at the beginning of a season (17).
The next record of 100 won tournaments is very close.

AC Milan thought they had the better of Arsenal for a few minutes, when Calhanoglu scored a goal well into the first half. Nobody in the Arsenal team thought it would be a good idea to close him down, inviting him to go for the goal which he duly converted. Unfortunately for AC Milan, Danny Welbeck  got a penalty after being brought down in the box. Arsenal and AC Milan are at 1-1 going into the second half.

Regardless of the controversial enough penalty, the second half did not go so well for AC Milan, and eventually they had to lose by aggregate quite a landslide. The proof of AC Milan is against a great team and in fact they are not playing so well against a great team like Arsenal.

the penalty (nonexistent foul) has affected the result.
Ac Milan did a good match and also had his chances for a resounding comeback.
Without Aubameyang and with Lacazette injured Arsenal has little chance of winning the Europa League.

Nice diving from Wellbeck and stupid decision from the referee. I'm not a fan of both team but looking at what was happening, AC Milan should be able to get a better result if the referee did not give the controversial penalty kick for Arsenal. Their spirit seems to be down after the controversial decision, so yeah it affected the match.

another obvious error was the penalty not granted to Chelsea against Barcelona.
The technology Var must be used in all major competitions to avoid these resounding mistakes. in balanced matches these errors can influence the result and ruin a team's entire season.

71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 15, 2018, 11:28:07 PM
Mourinho will almost certainly park the bus when they play Man City. It’s what he’s always done throughout his whole career. The cowardly approach has brought him success in the past, he won’t change.

But at this stage he and this Manchester United team has nothing to lose.
They all know Machester City has won the title of the Premier league already so why not go out with a bang and try to score some goals even if it means they can let some goals in during the process. Cheesy
It is worth a shot to see how their current team can handle a full on onslaught of the best team in the EPL and then make the required changes for next season since this one is done for them at the current standings. Undecided
Mourinho wants solid teams but I remember that in Liga in 2011/201, Real Madrid scored 121 goals with an average of over 3 goals per game.
United must absolutely try at least to get a draw against the City to not deliver the Premier League in the derby!

The top five will win prizes. The actual amounts are somewhere in the thread but I'll need to find it. Think they might have been in dollar or pound amounts as well so we'll have to work out what it would be in today's value.

Thanks boss  Cool

I remember maybe these awards:

1) 0.10 btc
2) 0.06
3) 0.03
4) 0.02
5) 0.01

74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 15, 2018, 10:57:25 PM
I see an interesting game tonight between Cleveland Cavaliers and Portland trail blazers , the blazers are in a serie of 10 straight wins , they are strong team specially home playing , the won the Golden state warriors 2 times with big score at home the last month so I think everybody is betting on them to win tonight . For my point of view I have something else to say , I see perhaps the Cavs stopping this winning streak specially that they show us after the trade that they love winning big games outside of Ohio , they won away games more than home games since they made the trade and against big teams already so I am assuming that they could do it as well tonight and besides that the odd is good 3/1 . It's risky but  not difficult I guess .

It's really an interesting game, and Cleveland's quote is very intriguing.
another very interesting match is Houston vs. Los Angeles Clippers.
The victory of the Clippers is quoted 7, hard but not impossible

the young Coric is the first semifinalist at Indiana Wells!
now Federer will play against Chung and if he wins he will keep the first place in the ranking (for many months).
I expect a final between Federer and Del Potro

For me At.Madrid is clearly the favorite.

This year finally seems a positive year for Del Potro! he started the season positively and above all without any injuries and can this year improve his best ranking (4th) and get for the first time in his career on the podium.
Among the young players, Chung exploded and he can reach the top 10!
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 14, 2018, 11:20:03 PM

I think that Denver last 7 games will be all road games so its gonna be tough for them to get the last playoff spot.

A total of 9 road games on which some of them are dominant teams. And for a total 14 remaining games Im seeing that 10 teams here will be tough for them so I chances of getting playoff spot for them has really low chance "as of now".

It's also been a first time to me to see that San Antonio Spurs is fighting for the bottom playoffs spot. It's not possible to win all of their remaining games but competing with Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers (surely they will be eliminated), New Orleans Pelicans, Minnesota Timberwolves, LA Clippers, Utah Jazz , at least they can have a chance to seal a playoffs spot. Greg Popovich playoffs appearance streak is one of the longest in the league so it's quiet regrettable to see that no more playoffs appearance to them.

Really a big changed.
Lots of us do really noticed such changes and same as yours this is the first time i do see Spurs striving for the bottom slot.I didnt expect for this strong team to have such hardship.Talking about on remaining teams i can say that i dont really have any hopes that they would able to pass through but who knows the ball is circle and might able to see unexpected things.  Cool

it's really strange for San Antonio to risk not participating in the Playoffs!
San Antonio since 1998 for 20 years consecutively has always participated in the playoffs!
unfortunately the injury of his best player Leonard is determining this result.

here are the 8 teams qualified for the quarterfinals:
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla
Manchester City,Liverpool
Juventus,Roma
Bayern

I think that Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona are superior to the other teams.
