for now it is very undervalued coin

Why do you think so?
What unique features that didn't realize in more successful project does VOT have?

Lost all coins.

Migrated successfully to SIN & then removed all SUQA files from PC. And backup wallet also gone with it.

Now SIN wallet corrupted and lost everything.

Anyway to recover those from corrupted wallet ?

If you deleted\lost your SUQA wallet.dat unfortunately there is no way to recover your funds unless you previously backed up private key of SUQA wallet
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins: to Mine or to Buy? That is the Question on: June 03, 2019, 07:39:32 PM
For some people mining is still not profitable because of the price of electricity and they can't make a profit and have to pay from own pocket. uralcryptocoin where you are (Europe, Asia, USA, Africa) ? I ask because of the electricity price. Good luck further, i wish all the best.

My electricity price is about 0.05$ kWh now. It's test\experimental rig. Unfortunatelly I can't run more rigs at this price.
But if I place my rig to datacenter my operating costs will be calculated from electricity price of 0.12$ per kWh

Also other charges should take into account: hardware amortization (the total cost of the equipment decrease in time), time for maintenance time and unplanned downtime

To invest in this project it is essential to know if it will be on new exchanges.

Will BTX be on new exchanges? maybe but it's not exactly

Does anyone know how many BTX are freezed at Cryptopia wallet?
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins: to Mine or to Buy? That is the Question on: June 02, 2019, 06:50:24 PM
I guess mining with mining rig will need more time to get the ROI (Return of investment) due the market price.
In 2017, mining was profitable because the price of crypto was very high.
In other hand, mining coin with staking method is a good option to gain ROI. But there are many scam PoS & MN coins so we need to careful.

The same can be said about buying and holding in 2017.
Now I will analize current situation and will make a descision at first for myself what investment model is better. Maybe some combination of mining and holding will be optimal

Can i run infinity node on windows PC without VPS and Ubuntu?

Yes you can if you have white IP. It's the same like for any other masternode coin

At the moment SIN PoW mining profitability is two times less than regular nicehash profit from the same mining hardware. But the price goes up and SIN PoW difficulty\hashrate also goes up. It's a good sign. I think 200 sats per SIN is very probable in next few days \ week
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins: to Mine or to Buy? That is the Question on: June 01, 2019, 08:21:34 PM
Well the summer begins and I begin my experiment.

Mining vs. Buying Challenge

The inintial conditions are as follows:
  • 2000$ is spent for mining equipment
  • 2000$ is spent for buying coins

Now I put my rig to Nicehash
Mining profitability is calculated as I posted earlier:

While waiting of BTX price consolidation I estimated my mining costs.
My rig is about 1-1.1 kW power from outlet. For simplify lets consider 1 kW. At 0.05 cents per kWh the rig consumes 0.05 * 24 = 1.2 USD
Also it should calculate hardware ammortization. I think in 3 years the harware will lost 75% of it's current price. Also for simplifying lets consider linear price reduction.
So it will be as follows:
2000 USD * 75% = 1500 USD then
1500 USD / (3 years = 3*365 days = 1095) ≈ 1.37 USD

Total costs for the mining will be: -1.57 USD

At current mining profitablitiy for the config of 5-5.5 USD per day the pure profit is 3.5-4 USD (not so great but also not so bad)

P.S. in nest several days I will prepare pre-analytics for both mining and holding (plots, tables, etc)

My coins portfolio looks as follows:

I used coinmarketcap data for BTC\USD price calculation
My BTC I've put for 4.08% Annual interest at freebitco.in resource to get additional satoshis)

P.S. The results of next week I will post at Sat\Sun

P.P.S. Further I will update the OP of the thread and create plots to make this challenge info more usable

unsafe? wrong..

Do you read how to play? http://oddevenbets.com/howtoplay.php

This game no need registration and no need ssl. User/player don't send any info or data.
It's safety!
Also you can play without site, need know odd or even wallets only.

You're right!
I've read the manual and got it.  Smiley
Tested both even and odd and it works with desktop wallet. Got payment in minutes.
Have you plan to increase maximum bet? $$$  Cheesy
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Partnership with JAXX and Magnum Wallet! on: May 29, 2019, 06:19:20 AM
I want introduce new Bitcore BTX game!

House edge 1% only!
Min bet 0.05 BTX and max bet 1 BTX.
Game with provably fair system.

http://oddevenbets.com

Easy to WIN.
Chance to win is 50/50!

Good luck,
friends!

In case you want to bet, there are plenty of provably fair websites with 0.5% house edge. Found one with 0.1% house edge, on BTC of course.

So why lose odds?

Because this is first BTX blockchain based game!
House edge 1% is very low and really cool!
Fees with BTX ~0 usd.

If you use BTC fees high and need wait confirmation long time..

Your service doesn't even have ssl sertificate. How will you plan work with money? It's unsafe at all
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VOT]: VoteCoin - a new era of anonymous crypto democracy on: May 27, 2019, 07:06:13 PM
Just a note on ASIC algo change, Tom has said previously its in VOTs interest to have all the vots issued, for a coin like votecoin to realise its potential its better to have as much issued into the market as possible, this will find the real value of the coin and marketing will do a lot  more  because he doesnt want to do the eventual marketing push as a mineable coin, that should be an afterthought, he wants the final stage to be marketing and exchanges based on what the coin can do, he does share the frustrations of having limited exchanges but he is really anti hype, he wont announce things till its done.

Does it mean that we have to wait at least years or even decades till VOT will be valued?  Cheesy

Is there anywhere actual benchmark for x25x algo?
Got about 1400kH/s for single GTX1070. Is it typical?
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: pump end or only correction? on: May 20, 2019, 09:18:34 PM
Technically BTC now is overbought. I think we will see the correction to about 5k in 3-5 weeks

Approximately 4 days left for the hardfork and for the evolution of masternodes.

New SINOVATE bitcointalk.org ANN will be released soon before the hardfork.

https://sinovate.io/

Stay Tuned!

What pools will support the hardfork?

I am also in the same boat as some of you guys. I didn't want to keep my BTX on my desktop due to security/hacking reasons so I just left it on Crytopia exchange. At the moment the price wasn't attractive enough so I just kept hodling the coins.

When the hack happened, I assumed at worst it would be a haircut. But didn't think they would remain silent, relaunch the exchange with limited trading pairs and all of a sudden just go into liquidation.

No idea if we will ever get our coins back. If they are in liquidation and the coins have value on another exchange, they might even liquidate the coins for us to pay off some of their debts. Not looking good.

Are you kidding? What is the problem to create cold wallet\paper wallet. There are tons of instructions how to do that.
If you really care about your crypto assets security just make 2 easy steps:
1. Install the wallet to the offline PC
2. Generate public and private keys, print them and secrete them
Now you can mine and send funds to that wallet.

As soon as you like to get an access to your coins just import your private keys to the online wallet
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins: to Mine or to Buy? That is the Question on: May 19, 2019, 05:05:08 PM

I've estimated my config. It's very probable that now I can buy this config for about 2000 $ equivalent at my countryplace.
So the same amount I will invest to cryptocurrencies. But not now. I think current situation with Bitcoin price shows that the correction will occur soon. So before buying alts or BTC I will wait about 2 weeks till the price consolidation.
Also I will think about hardware price ammortization and other maintance costs of mining process and report system of my experiment.
If anyone has suggestions feel free to discuss them

Oh... you can forget them for a while ^^'

Such is life Undecided...anyway they can forget about their moms until I get my coins back. These chicks are going to work that debt off.

Hahaha.  You’re on a roll, dude!!!

Vlad is back!
Hope your last prediction comes true soon  Grin

I predicted $5 and we hit it, then $1 and we crashed into it, then $.50 and broke right through it and I’ve been saying for weeks $.25 is looking very likely.

We’ll see if we hit that soon cause if we do then the next stop is very likely $.10.

This is probably the biggest % loss I’ve ever had on any crypto.

Why do yo do so? Why? It's your blame. You see that your prediction becames true.
Predict $50 or $100 to make all BTX holders happy  Cheesy

Ok.  $1500.

Fast and Furious...  Wink
