I think it's better to invest in many different coins and take part of the profit when they reach between 150% and 500% gains. Then invest that part of the profit in another coin. By just gambling on which one will reach x100, you will miss out on a lot of profit.
In my opinion, this much of huge return only new coins can give which are very cheap right now(1–2 cents) and have the potential to grow. So, do your research and choose. |

I think this is the best time to buy some coins, because now the market price is falling, if you buy it, you will get more coins that you prepare for the future and the crypto currency value continues to rise. Most governments says that cryptocurrencies are volatile and adapting it as a currency will have a negative impact on the economy and beside this there are more and more scam ICO sprouting nowadays victimizing unweary investors. So there are really more risks in cryptocurrencies.
I would put it this way: they are more risky so far, in the long run there will be fewer risks as the crypto industry stabilizes. And then it depends on the economy: stronger economies wont' be affected by volatility - they will assimilate it and adopt it. |

I would really not recommend buying coins with uncertain future. But if you're referring to Litecoin, I think it is safe to buy it. It's one of the top 10 coins by marketcap and top 19 by price. |

How long you wait depends on people's wishes and intentions. The market is down, but it's normal for long-term holders.

It is very unlikely that any democratic government will try to ban crypto currency out right, but they will definitely make every effort to see that it isn’t not allowed to exist outside of its control. On another note, I’ve heard rumors that some think that BTC was even created by an anonymous government to gain greater control over global finances.

ether is at a very low price for now since it is stable at a price of $275-$300. It was about $800 3-4 months back and it might recover the price soon.
Considering it's ATH this must be a great price to buy some ether as it will return some good gains.
Well, the right time to buy Ethereum is when the price of it in the market is currently low. After buying, hold your coin until the price rise up so that you can get a profit into it. Agree. The time to buy some more ETH was actually yesterday or earlier in a week, because now it is above $200 again (who even said it would hit a $50 mark?) |

I don't think it's a nice strategy to mske long-term investments.. Unless we are talking about ethereum or bitcoin. Anyway, I think you can earn more that you can doing long-term investments.
We need to look deep into the project to divine it's future, so to speak. Not only BTC and ETH are deserving of investment. There are coins such as EOS, XRP, LTC that are showing great potential and are looking good. |
