I just set up two of these in a datacenter and yes they are loud.  They produce a distinct high pitch whine can be heard over all of the other servers.  I'm running at medium setting and getting temps in the upper 50s / low 60s, I suppose I could try dialing down the fans a little but that probably won't make much difference...

New miner here, Slush is definitely on a roll now!  

I'm sure it all evens out in the end for the most part though, but it's fun watching all of these blocks being found in such short order

Haha I can't tell if you guys are sarcastic or serious, hopefully the latter.  But I am definitely liking Slush's new website and all of the data it has compared to a few other pools I looked at.

I just started mining a few weeks ago and the amount of downtime is disconcerting, but maybe they're just experiencing a bad spell?  I may ride it out to see but will definitely set up a PPS pool as a backup.
