61  Economy / Speculation / Re: I didn't expect to see it went below 56k on: July 06, 2024, 06:45:47 PM
We're on the weekend so probably the damage has been controlled as of the moment. But we'll see when the markets open on Monday and for sure that many aren't going to like that.
I hope so... Bitcoin managed to return to 57,800$ nicely and it's already trying to break the 58,000$ line. It's possible that on the next days we see Bitcoin reaching close to 60,000$ again, which is an important price range to retrieve the optimism from investors after so many negative news and the recent crash. Personally, I believe once the sales from Mt. Gox's customers begin, the market will see it's not going to be so devastating like it was expected once the news came into the scene.

So, the tendency is that fear of new crashes will cease, and more investors will start buying once again. The crash we saw was due to a psychological effect caused by fear, as investors didn't know how deep Bitcoin could fall, so they guaranteed some funds back into fiat on the short term. It's worthy to keep in mind not every investors can give themselves the luxury of holding forever. They have real life expenses and schedules, so the money they have invested in BTC has to be cashed out to fulfill such appointements from times to times.

It's a responsible measure to cashout before a large crash, so they can guarantee they can meet daily routine's debt.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ADHD People Cannot Be A Gambler What If You Know One? on: July 06, 2024, 06:34:08 PM
ADHD is a pandemic nowadays. It seems everyone having issues to display some self control skills is immediately diagnosed with ADHD. I know it's a serious mental disorder, but why the intensity we find this disorder nowadays has grown so much compared to past decades and generations? I guess it's easier to use a disorder as "crutches" than taking responsability for their own acts.

It's easier and convenient to blame on the disorder, which is something out their control, than accepting the consequences for their acts. That is how the modern human being acts regards everything by rule. If I'm an addicted to gambling, it's because nature and biology have made me this way. People don't have the mindset to shape and mould their personalities in more functional ways. They just accept their flaws and want everyone around to do the same.

Then we have a whole society full of weak, pathetic and sick people addicted to drugs which theoretically keep their impulses under control, because they aren't interest in developing self-knowledge to find the solutions for their internal issues through natural means, which involve deep reflexions, thoughts and why not some pain.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Russia Roulette real gambling game ? on: July 06, 2024, 05:21:53 PM
Does this kind of game still exist? That's if it was ever played the way I read about it online.

And how can people take risk of playing such game ?
I don't know much about this game being played for real. I've seen it mostly in movies. If it's really practiced, it must be done as torture method by mobsters to punish someone or by suicidal individuals. But as a gambling game involving money prizes I think it's highly unlikely, because you risk your life when playing this game, so it's unethical and even criminal. Nobody wants to be associated with this.

On the other hand, if there were huge prizes involved, such as millions of dollars, I don't doubt many desperate people would voluntarily play russian roulette gambling game. It would be similar to that South Korean series: Round 6 (Squid Game), where hundreds of people into full debt went to a game of life or death to earn the jackpot, and achieve a comfortable financial status after so many failures in life.

UPDATE : All missing Wofs have been credited to my account
It's true. They have credited the missing spins, I can confirm this information too.

Is the site slow for anyone else?
Not for me. The website is loading instantly, as usual.

I'm having multiple issues with the website.

I'm getting a 500 internal server error when I try to access the free spin credit in the promotional email:
https://talkimg.com/images/2024/07/06/o3S6D.jpeg
How many times did you try? When I get this error (or that one which doesn't display captcha) I close the link and open once again. I just checked my WoF promotional emails and they worked fine.

About the other issues, it would be good if more users also confirm if they are facing them too, so we could conclude if it's a general malfunction or not. I hope everything is cleared out soon and you have no prejudice because of it.

Just sold a batch of FUN and locked the tokens once again. The process went smoothly without any issues.

The problem with LOGOUT button redirecting to faucet page and not signing out from the account persists, though...
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Work Now May Not Work Tomorrow on: July 06, 2024, 04:48:08 PM
I think that it is either impossible to find patterns in gambling, or close to impossible. What worked today and yesterday will not work tomorrow. This is a complete coincidence. If any pattern could be deduced, then with the advent of Artificial Intelligence this pattern could be detected even more easily. After all, AI can figure out everything much faster than a human, even the smartest one. In general, I believe that you should play in a casino for fun only and not look for patterns that most likely do not exist there.
It's impossible due to the house edge. If patterns in gambling existed, they would be discovered sooner or later by one or another gambler (or even by the AI, as you said), who would share his discovery with the rest of gambling community, so everyone would be reproducing the same pattern and making continuous and certain profit in a frequently basis. As consequence, casinos would start losing money on long run, unable to maintain their businesses alive.

If such patterns existed, they would completely ruin gambling's industry as we know today. It would mean the end of centralized casinos, forcing gamblers to bet only through P2P method, if they wished to continue practing the activity.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the Bitcoin decline caused by Mt. Gox find support around $52,000? on: July 05, 2024, 04:57:39 PM
Bitcoin found support at 53,000$ and already managed to bounce back to 56,000$ without much difficult. It's very good news after we hit the dip today! Now let's hope Bitcoin will remain stable around the current price until a bullish tendency takes place! 56,500$ is the resistance level of the day at the moment I'm writting this post. From what we saw today, it makes me believe the 50,000$'s zone is a key position for Bitcoin which whales don't want to lose.

As soon as Bitcoin reaches close to the bottom of the 50,000$'s, buyers enter in action and don't let the price drop further. Hopefully, by noticing this fact, investors are going to get more optimistic because the Mt. Gox redistribution isn't so harmful like many thought at first impression... Investors have to understand that if they panic selling, whales are going to grab all their coins for 53,000$ - 50,000$. And if they want to enter the market again, they will have to pay an expensive price for that.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: I didn't expect to see it went below 56k on: July 05, 2024, 01:39:33 PM
Lol, in the first 4 hours of the day Bitcoin has already touched the 56,800$ - 56,900$ zone 6 times! The price hits that support level and then bounces back to 57,000$. I ask myself how long Bitcoin can still secure the position with so much pressure pushing the price downside. There is a fierce battle going on right now with the bears attempting to fell Bitcoin at all costs. Unfortunatelly, I think the price is still going to fall deeper... There aren't any good signals on the horizon for the short term.

I wish I could close my eyes and only open them again once the Mt. Gox redistribution and governments' Bitcoin sales were done!
Even now it is lower than the price of 55,000$ and after seeing its movement in the last 24 hours it looks like we will see a fairly deep and fast correction.
This is surprising because it happened quickly, we have rarely seen price movements like this lately, but don't worry too much, there are still positive things that can be taken from what happened.
I think starting to buy more when the price falls below 50,000$ might be one of my efforts to avoid panic and also think positively for the future.
BTC hit the 53,000$ mark and then returned to 55,500$. It's going to be pretty good if Bitcoin is able to maintain this price as support level until a new bullish tendency starts. I think Bitcon is going to try breaking the 56,000$ line until the end of the day. Now the test begins to see how strong it is and what we can expect from Bitcoin in the following days. The psychological impact of Mt. Gox news is much more intense over the market than the redistribution of coins they are going to execute.

Some traders claim 53,000$ was the bottom. I'm skeptical about every scenarios and predictions so far until the market stabilizes and a new tendency is drawn.

69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Practical methods to help addicted gamblers(2). on: July 05, 2024, 12:06:33 AM
What other practical methods can we use to help addicted gamblers become better, aside from professional help?
Only advices aren't that efficient... Addicted gamblers are in a situation where they don't have much control over their actions and desires. I believe if you are to help an addicted individual you have to propose practical activities to execute with him. For an example, you can invite him to go out with you. Have some fun together, so he will probably forget his addiction, at least for a while.

Then make these instants of distraction from the addiction more and more frequent, until they last longer than the moments the addiction takes control of him. Slowly, he will tend to forget or decrease the intensity of the addiction on his life. At some point, intensive support won't even be needed anymore, as he will be already able to cope with his impulses by himself.

It's not an easy task, though, because nobody has so much time disponible to dedicate to another individual, especially if it's not a close one...
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "Scatter" word getting more popular on: July 04, 2024, 10:20:30 PM
Here where I live we don't hear this word "scatter" related to gambling matters. It's probably a regional hype from the area where you live. Not that these games change very much from one place to another, it's just that the catching words and phrases are different depending where you are. The most catching game here promoted by influencers is "tiger's game". That is a pretty popular concept of gambling everyone is aware about, including the ones who aren't gamblers, because the media has been talking a lot about it since last year.

So much propaganda does bring consequences, like awaking the interest from the young ones for these popular gambling games. Children see their parents and relatives playing, so they feel encouraged to repeat the same actions of the adults. However, they don't have money to gamble like the adults, so I don't see this as a big issue at all. Children will talk to each other about this matter, as everyone else is doing, but they won't have access to gambling, anyway.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not only about winning and losing, but about psychological control on: July 04, 2024, 08:31:04 PM
While keeping yourself in check and controlling your emotions is key, the truth is that this is very hard to do for the majority of people out there, and this is because they are not used to carry themselves in this way, so when they find themselves in a situation in which they must do so or suffer terrible consequences, they have no idea about how to do it, which explains why despite people knowing what to do in order to not lose too much money while gambling, they still fall victims of it and lose money they could not really afford to lose at the time.
To learn how to control emotions is also a skill which can be developed and improved by individuals along their personal experiences, especially the aversive and challenging ones. Not everyone learns and improves with each mistake they commit, but the ones who are able to do so, are going to be rewarded by their efforts. Besides managing their funds with more efficiency, they are also going to achieve superior psychological health, while knowing themselves better.

To lose much money gambling once it's not a decisive mistake. It's the recurrence of this action which makes the mistake to be fatal, because when it happens, the person has even more difficult to control his emotions, because besides the bitter taste of the present loss, there is also the accumulated frustration and trauma from past losses which add to the current suffering, becoming a big snowball of problems ready to smash the individual's psychological.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you look out for first when choosing alts. Utility or hype? on: July 04, 2024, 08:20:19 PM
I look for utility, benefits it proportionates to adopters, holders and investors. It usually comes as benefits inside an already existing platform or service. So you acquire the altcoin to guarantee extra advantages inside a service platform. If the offer is interesting and rewarding, I decide to invest on the altcoin. It's not easy, though, because most offers don't worth. Some look really good at the beginning, but on the practice it's completely different than you firstly expected.

Altcoins are always a risky deal, so if you want to avoid all the troubles, frustration and regrets of adopting them, I would advise you to just invest in Bitcoin currency that you won't have any headaches later. It's exactly what it promises to be, without any hidden nasty surprises in the end.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: Instutions and whales buying assets now on ground floor on: July 04, 2024, 08:03:23 PM
Institutional investors and whales in general have always manipulated Bitcoin market to instill fear among investors and crashes in price. It has been their method since the beginning of this industry, although volatility right now is much lower than it used to be in the previous decade. Early investors learned how to deal with this frequent scenario by just being patient and calm to not get triggered by those manipulators.

That is why the goals of a Bitcoin investor should be aimed for the long term. There isn't overnight safe profit here. When someone decides to invest in BTC, his mindset and schedules have to be prepared for a potential scenario where he could need holding his portfolio for few years at least. That is enough time for Bitcoin to move along its cycle of highs and lows.

This way, it's possible to overcome the negative effects of market's manipulation by whales and still make considerable profits from it. The problem is that many people are giving up on the opportunity they have to invest in BTC, completely leaving the opportunity for institutional investors who are already taking charge of Bitcoin market in large scale.
74  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the most popular Crypto casino game? on: July 04, 2024, 07:36:40 PM
Majority of the people have said dice.So can I assume that playing dice with the bots available(Dicebot) is okay?
By my research, the most popular casino game is slot machine. But if you want to play dice, just make sure the platform you are going to play allows the usage of third party addons like bots. Otherwise, they might think you are a scammer or hacker who is attempting to cheat on them. Also, you should know bots aren't assured to improve your performance on long run. It's quite the opposite, when using bots you can see your bankroll being drained pretty fast.

It's ok to use them since it's allowed by the house, since you know the risks involved and since you are playing with money you can afford to lose. Good luck!
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa America 2024 Prediction Thread on: July 04, 2024, 07:23:48 PM
Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay are considered to be the strongest teams in Copa America. While Uruguay and Argentina are in very good form, we haven't seen Brazil's players perform well in recent times. Brazil have won just one of their three group stage matches. Moreover, the bonding between the team players is not strong in Brazil. So maybe we will see Argentina and Uruguay in the final of Copa America.
Brazil's players look too nervous during the matches. They are having difficults to focus on the match, as they seem to be always concerned with what the crowds are saying about them. These players are emotionally shaken up, because in Brazil people care about appearances in first place, while techniques, skills and efficiency stay in second plan. The social medias just boosted this concept of brazilian lifestyle to very disfunctional levels.

When people care too much about appearances and looks, they lack concentration and focus to do their job with excellency and majesty. The fact there isn't a genuine bond between the team squad, also reinforces this theory, as players become too egocentric and individualist.

A final between Argentina and Uruguay wouldn't be that bad... La Celeste versus La Albiceleste. Last time both teams played against each other was in 2022's qualifiers - Qatar World Cup, where Uruguay won with a score of 2-0.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: I didn't expect to see it went below 56k on: July 04, 2024, 07:11:05 PM
56,000$ was expected, due to the bearish news for July. Those who were attentive to the recent events predicted this potential scenario with success. And it's possible Bitcoin's price still crashes deeper. I just hope it doesn't reach 49,000$ or below.

I believe once the distribution by Mt. Gox happens, the scenario starts improving for Bitcoin once again. There is a lot of fear and pessimism among investors due to Mt. Gox exchange, US and Germany governments dropping large sums of Bitcoin on the market. So we just have to wait for this to happen for that wave of pessimism fade out.

Anyway, why is 38,000$ being mentioned here? There isn't any reasons to conclude a prediction like that yet, since we are still above the 58,000$ price range. Despite the bearish tendency, Bitcoin is maintaining its price inside a stable price zone. 38,000$ looks an unreasonable prediction based on despair and fear after the recent crash from 63,000$ to 56,000$.
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever Hated someone because he/she win too much, when you are constantly losing? on: July 04, 2024, 07:00:34 PM
It sounds like a movie script, because although it's an interesting and funny story to think about, it can't be for real, as gamblers don't win continuously from gambling in a weekly basis. At some point, the friend of the story's narrator will end facing harsh losses, with or without the company of the envious man. There isn't such things as lucky charms, and house edge is here to prove that. I think the man envying his friend for being lucky is a fool. He should be happy for his friend.

Moreover, he is also benefited by his friend's winnings, as he receives part of the prize as gift (what he called a bribery). So why is he complaining after all? He should be thankful for having a generous friend, instead of desiring to be his friend...
78  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: July 04, 2024, 12:59:40 AM
I wanted to remain positive as far as possible because Freebitco is the website that got me introduced to Bitcoin

This right here is one of the major reason why I still visit this thread and take my time to read through comments - they were the first site that made me know about faucets that I could get reward by visiting their site and claiming rewards which I later staked on some games in other to try to multiply it.

But with the current situation and drama going on in this thread I don't think I’ll be confident enough to tell anyone to use this site - if I even come across someone using it I might even be tempted to talk them out of it and the trouble their users are currently facing. If they continue like this they'll surely go down the drain - if they still care about their reputation then they should hurry and work on restoring everything back to as it was in the past.
It's also the first site related to Bitcoin I signed up in my life, which got me introduced to Bitcoin. The person who introduced me to Bitcoin also introduced me to freebitco.in and I have been an user of the platform since then, almost every day of my life... I think we create a special bond with the platform which keep us active there despite the recurrent recent issues. I would like to be more hopeful about the future of the platform, though.

At the stage we reached, I don't think the operators are giving any importance to the service being offered there at all. Careless and absent support besides continous bugs and errors with the website being found by users in an almost daily basis are clear signals of that.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: getting back into the BTC game on: July 03, 2024, 10:13:50 PM
I've been reading different news sources about the future potential of BTC and it still looks pretty bright.  What is your personal view?  Are you still optimistic?  Riding the fence?  I'm curious.  Thanks.
The future of Bitcoin does look bright. I believe we are having a harsh momentum between June and July due to some recent news involving high flux of Bitcoins for sale in the market, but as soon as we get rid of such sales and investors absorb the supply of BTCs being dropped in the market, Bitcoin will recover its price once again towards a new ATH. By my experience, the final months of a halving year have been considerably good for our investments in Bitcoin.

I expect that from September or October on we start seeing some interesting fluctuations. It means there is still time to invest in Bitcoin, while it's still below the 60,000$ price mark. If my predictions are right, you have come back in time for the banquet.
80  Other / Politics & Society / Re: "Political Polarization: Is Civil Discourse a Thing of the Past? on: July 03, 2024, 09:39:58 PM
There can only be reasonable and constructive debates and dialogues when there is a common origin point on the conversation. If we can begin from a common point both sides of a debate agree, then the conversation is possible.

What happens nowadays is that people disagree with every positions of the opposite side. There aren't things in common which could join these people together towards a common goal and objective. So how could something productive emerge from this?

The political polarization is a big manipulation by groups of power who want to acquire personal benefits for its members in detriment of everyone else. And in order to do so, they raise virtuous flags, claiming to be fighting for the minorities, for the children rights, for social justice, for religious principles and so on... However, they are just fighting for themselves, for their own pockets, social and financial ascension.

I guess there is nothing to do about it in a collective scale. It's out of our control as individuals. What you can do is to get away from such senseless and worthless discussions, focusing your time and energies on more productive affairs which will fill your spirit genuinely.
