U.K.
Ever hear of the City Of London? No regulations, do whatever you want. Don't believe me though. Check out hypothecation and re-hypothecation.  Check out the keiser report on same.

Time to come up some ideas for a decentralized block data tool?

This are not the tools required to generate FPGA bitstreams. This ist a (as far i see) an IDE to develop Software for Soft and hard-cores.

I misread the offering, I thought they had a free version and a commercial version but you have to go through sales to get the SDK.
And it's not clear what they offer in the SDK. I got to that site from another site that made it sound like something different.

Take into consideration those numbers

Number of p2pool users will level off as many discover their rigs are too small for p2pool. p2pool proponents will sell them variance but the users won't buy it and go back to thier previous pool.

You think Trade Hill is just out to scam people?

Did their customers lose assets?

I disagree.  I would gladly pay MC a monthly fee and interest to give me a BTC credit line and the usual chargeback / contest charge / fraud prevention services.

Maybe tell Mastercard?

Interesting though you consider a 23.6% drop as simply a market trend.  It goes to show that "volatility" is relative and some BTCUSD traders are accustom to the extreme price moves of BTCUSD.

Look at a chart for past year. I looked at mtgox. It's very volatile.  We can say BTC crashes all the time. But BTC isn't subject to quantitative easing and other creative (evil) practices like that.

Why do you think it "crashed"?

as for tradehill
tradehill == "long con"

Mt. Gox got a National Security Letter. They can't tell anyone but they can hint at it. I'll let you figure out what it means.

Can we please make javascript illegal?

Yes, agree, it's a huge exploit running in every browser.  These forums suffered from javascript exploits  recently...maybe you knew that already.

I think all presidential candidates should be required to take 3 normed IQ tests and have their average score publicly released.

They should be required to take the same test given for citizenship.

It seems that the pain will only propagate using all these proprietary tools. Are there any open, linux SDKs for this hardware? Reinventing the wheel is not cost efficient.

For example for spartan6 there is:

72  Economy / Economics / Re: Cause of the BTCUSD Crash on February 13th, 2012 on: February 15, 2012, 05:19:17 PM
There was no crash.  Are you confused about market trends?
73  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Failure is likely on: February 15, 2012, 05:15:40 PM
See that other thread, Mastercard is forcing their customers to stop using BTC.  If Mastercard thought BTC was going to fail they wouldn't care about BTC.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: MasterCard fears Bitcoin: News Article on: February 15, 2012, 05:13:03 PM
Mastercard should fear BTC. They are already marginal and losing more market is not good for their future.
75  Economy / Economics / Re: 10 Things That Every American Should Know About The Federal Reserve on: February 15, 2012, 05:02:59 PM

In 1913 The Federal Reserve Act was passed through the House, where 3 members of Congress were on the floor, at that time they only needed a majority of votes to pass it.

Coming up to the 100 year mark since and it's looking like they won't have much to celebrate it's unraveling fast. There are too many things working against them now. Technology was one thing they just didn't take seriously enough. They've been trying to stuff the internet back in the bottle but that's not working either. Greece isn't going with their plan. Expecting to see the first public hanging in Greece soon.

Do they send you the precious metal once you buy it? If not how do you know it exists? They send you a picture of it?

The active users/addr doesn't match blockexplorer?  Why is that? Due to RRD?

Or do I misunderstand blockexplorer?
http://blockexplorer.com/t/93krV7V9FR shows 210 but your stats page has a max of ~140 active users/addr

RRD is not good, it averages away perfectly good data. (But people seem to use it a lot, maybe not knowing this.)
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Failure is likely on: February 14, 2012, 07:57:43 PM
Long winded way to say money is evil. The false sense of scarcity has allowed power over others for a long time. It's not clear how much longer their power to manipulate minds and hold back tech. advances lasts. But things are unraveling in a good way now and if the unraveling follows other trends it may happen quickly.
