61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MOST COMMMON METHODS HACKERS AND SPAMMERS USE TO STEAL BITCOINS on: July 04, 2017, 04:40:30 PM
Sounds like some bullshit when it comes to you stealing that money, though if you actually did do something like that congrats to you and all but you're fucking scum from the bottom of the earth. You just stole thousands of dollars (if true) and that's absolutely horrible. And if you're coming here to see if you can find more methods to further your activities, then fuck off and I hope you rot in a prison cell when someone is bright enough to be able to find out that you did such a thing. I'll stop with my rant and then I'll let ya know the biggest scams, biggest is going to have to be phishing scams which is making a fake site to mimic a real one-- getting people to put in trusted information and stealing whatever you want from them. I'm not going to go any further but you can let your imagine have some fun
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: June 30, 2017, 08:21:43 PM
Yet again it's going to be something that is stuck on the situation that you're in, if you're using these as a fun thing to just screw around with and you're not relying on the money from it you should be fine to just save the coins and to just hope for some of the coins to go up in value, as that would just be all in good fun for someone like that who doesn't seem to care at all. Though if you, or your family invested the money to buy this rig and you're hoping for some returns on this then you should be going ahead and selling the coins as you're going to be getting a good amount of profit from it on a time basis. It really depends on your circumstances here, figure that out and you should be solid!
63  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: June 30, 2017, 07:56:35 PM
While I'm not one to go fully trusting on banks as I know that all they seem to care for (like any other business) is the profit margin that they're trying to get at the end of the day, so they're not going to be very keen on helping people in the least. Though, I'd say if you complain enough to them, the BBA, some federal agencies that deal with bank complaints, and so on and so forth. They'll in the end respond due to fear of some sort of fine being bestowed upon them by the bank hating people- which there are so many of these days.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid of August One? on: June 30, 2017, 06:18:32 PM
Obviously, the only thing you can really be in a situation like this is going to have to be scared for what's going to come. We don't know if the miners are really all going to come together on this issue, as they haven't been very keen on getting together to do much in the past so who really knows if this is going to be the time where the problems are fixed or if this is simply the start of more and more issues that signal a downtrend for Bitcoin.
I don't understand why would people afraid with what will happen in 1st August since our current block size problem could be solved, even if there's block split, i think we still could earn profit by sell minority coins.

Here's the thing that freaks people out, it's going to be the uncertainy of what could happen if the problem isn't solved. A think a major price downtrend is going to happen due to this, and it's insane to think about that when we're close to the peak but I feel it's going to happen all again.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your say about Michael Richo pleaded guilty? on: June 30, 2017, 04:34:23 PM
Well my personally say on all of this is that the man is doing this in an attempt to save his own ass, when you go ahead and plea guility that pretty much means you're going to try to get out of this in some sort of way shape or form. Probably, this was this guys first offense so he's going to get a lesser charge then someone who's being doing this sort of thing over and over-- he's really trying to salavage whatever he's going to have left in his life. My say is good try bud, good try.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof that Crime isn't Why they Hate Bitcoin. on: June 30, 2017, 03:26:39 PM
Well crime is going to be one of the easy ones for people to point to, and it's also one of the easy ones that the news can touch on to be able to get people scared of adopting Bitcoin. I'd actually appluad them for doing it, as they're pointing to peoples worst fears (getting them views) and then tying it in with Bitcoin to be able to keep their banker overlords and owners happy and powerful. Though I and many others on this forum probably do know that the reason governments and bankers hate Bitcoin is going to be that they're heeding control of their power to someone else, something that they would never want to do.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: June 30, 2017, 01:41:04 PM
The code is going to be the part that confirms it as sound money, even if it isn't one of the big currencies when you're throwing up all of the gov backed ones it's still one of the big names that is valid in terms of having low inflation and being controlled by a decentralized group of people (or so this is as it was written, and we hoped for it to stay decentralized) and Bitcoin is still sound money based on this notion and matter.
It depends upon the user. So basically very few people were interested in using bitcoin for their shopping need similar to a currency. This in the falling years will increase when more corporates and shopping giants accept bitcoin. So truly bitcoin is a sound money and it also has got different other forms.

Bitcoin is only going to be accepted and all that if and when we work out the kinks, lets just pray to god this is done sooner rather than later though.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is an altcoin on: June 30, 2017, 10:29:56 AM
Well to be making a bold claim like this and calling what everyone knows today as the biggest Crypto an altcoin would mean that there is another currency that is more powerful than Bitcoin (at least on a crypto scale) and has more people using it, more trading it, and so on and so forth. The only reason we refer to the other coins as Altcoins is due to the fact that they're the alternate currency to the Majority, which in this case is going to have to be something else if you're going to call Bitcoin (which IS THE MAJORITY) an altcoin. This claim doesn't make sense in the least, try again!
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cyber attackers asking for $300 in bitcoin on: June 30, 2017, 04:52:33 AM
As I've said this in other threads, I'm going to be repeating my point when it comes to this entire ransomware issue. The thing is, people are going to be using any sort of currency which is going to be easy to extract money from. I know in the past when my sisters computer was hacked, I know she was instructed (by the hackers ransomware program) to pay in something called Greendot Money Pak, which is a untraceable card which is purchased with cash which can be used to withdrawl money from. When I went to look it up, I saw tons and tons of hackers were abusing this card to try to pull this off. So this issue may be with Bitcoin, but there are probably tons of others which are easier for people to do it on
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We can't buy something with Bitcoin quickly on: June 29, 2017, 08:06:39 PM
This is true and sad, but in the end it is something that is still true. With the current congestion in the network, TX fees being insanely high and all that, you actually can't buy things with Bitcoin in a manner that's going to be time efficient in the least. It's horrid and something that the miners, and the community is going to have to come together in order to try to work the kinks out and fix it. This is unreal and is going to lead Bitcoin down a place where it's unable to be used as a world currency like everyone on here would love to see, with me included. I call on a consensus to be picked and fixed.
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trust invest fund? on: June 29, 2017, 06:01:14 AM
My critera on stuff like this is actually one of those rather simple things, it's to avoid them with every ounce that I have and I'm just not going to be using them in the least. Why trust someone else with your money and ability to run off with it, I'd rather be able to have the final say and decision on the whereabouts of the money that I worked hard as fuck to be able to earn and accumulate. If someone says they're going to be earning money with your money and paying you, you may want to think about what they're going to be gaining from all of this. As I'd rather be in full control of my assets, but maybe that's just me.
72  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges? on: June 29, 2017, 05:49:44 AM
Nope, sounds like a big issue to have to get confirmed on multiple exchanges and then go through all the motions of trading on it as well. It really matters on where you live aswell when it comes to this issue, as I know people who live in the EU compared to people that live in the US have a much easier time with getting on different exchanges as they're not open on the same high amount of regulations as people in the states are. So, I personally don't do it but others may and that's up to them to do Arbitrage
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using Bitcoin as down payment funds to purchase a new home with a mortgage... on: June 29, 2017, 05:22:18 AM
While I do think that it is wonderful that you're trying to get the community involved and all that, I really wouldn't be doing something like this unless you're somewhere working with some sort of expert to be able to find out if you're going to not be getting business due to not accepting Bitcoin. Because if you think about it in the terms of 'people are still going to need mortgages no matter what' you can come to think that you're going to be wasting time with all of this and not really helping anyone in the long run. Though if there are only people with Bitcoin that are going to be using mortgages and bitcoin then so be it.

74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much will the commission for the transaction be? on: June 29, 2017, 04:37:59 AM
Well, this is rather simple to do and you could use one of those fee estimators to be doing this though. But these are typically used for wanting to get your tx done fast and quick and that's usually that, you're not going to be doing this if you're trying to get cheapest and fastest or something along those lines. I know if you go and visit Coincap.io if you look on the top left the avg fee is put their in dollars and cents to be able to quickly do it. You could also go here, https://bitcoinfees.21.co/#fees which shows the avg fee somewhere around $2. Goodluck with your TX

75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ransomware Cyberattack aske for Bitcoin on: June 29, 2017, 04:13:10 AM
As sad as it may sound and people are going to attempt to go after Bitcoin for something like this, there are many other mediums that the ransom ware hackers could be using in order to steal money from people. It does make us look bad that it's Bitcoin, but they could've used Prepaid cards / Moneygram / Wire transfers and so on and so forth to be able to steal money from people. Money Dot cards are also one of the big ones when it comes to something like this as well, I think those are PERFECT as well.I think it's sad that this is happening, though it's bound to happen with any currency.

76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Russia] Burger King to accept Bitcoin this summer! on: June 29, 2017, 02:52:35 AM
Hate to be the person here that's going to burst the bubble of others here, but I'll guess I'll be helping everyone out here when I do this. Think about it, do you really think that Burger King is going to be doing something like this if they don't have a chance at getting more money and in reality they're probably still going to be getting the same amount of revenue -- with BTC or not. People aren't going to not go to this fast food restrautrant simply because they don't accept Bitcoin. I've said this once and I'll say it again, Businesses and Gov's are only going to adapt when they're bound to make a lot of money from adoption, in this case I think it's only going to be going to one store and this isn't going to be going to National level.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: June 29, 2017, 12:21:48 AM
No chance, I'm one of the people that is very realistic when it comes to Bitcoin usage in the world. Let's think about this for a second, people in First World / Developed Nations are having issues adopting to Bitcoin and using it. Do you really think it's going to gain traction in areas which are developing and don't even have / are just getting access to the fruits of Civilization such as internet, electricity, water, and so on and so forth. These are also the places that usually have the worst time when it comes to Gov Corruption, so Bitcoin isn't going to be allowed to spread in these areas. Maybe with some innovation with BTC it may help to get people in on the Global economy, though it's really going to take some time for all of this to work out.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 28, 2017, 11:53:34 PM
While it can be used as a source of income in some ways, I wouldn't stick to it as your only source of income as I also use it as one of my many side sources when it comes to investing and trading and such. Though, I would never come to have Bitcoin be my own source of income as it's insanely volatile and I would never be able to come and fully trust it.
If you buy bitcoin, it's investment for you, not income.
Only if you earn your btc funds through some concrete work, like programming, online marketing etc. or with signature campaign on this forum, you can say that bitcoin is source of income for you.
Of course, such income for the most people is not enough yet to leave their current job, for example, but still it's nice to have additional income every month Smiley

Yes, though if you're going to be using Bitcoin as an income and fully RELYING on it you should be converting it to USD as you're doing work and now other people (if you're of age) maybe family, kids, etc is going to be relying on this money. You're going to want to shield them from the market conditions of volatility which are here.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most likely outcome on August 1st ? on: June 28, 2017, 11:14:18 PM
Probably nothing is going to come out of it, I can personally see a ton of the miners just bowing out before something like this actually going through in fear of what the community is going to say and think and what the price is going to do because of it. Because the last thing these miners want is to lose out on potential profits as they trying to 'fix' all of this, while I do think they'll be looking out for the best interest I think they'd rather just try to squeeze out all of the money that they can out of Bitcoin, as that's usually all people care for these days.I don't think anything will come from it, sadly.

80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Satoshi Nakamoto Is Dead!!! on: June 23, 2017, 06:09:42 PM
It would be the single best thing which could happen to the Bitcoin. We must accept the fact that bitcoin has grown so big that even if Satoshi is alive and disclosing himself with the valid proof then there will be threats to his life and possible pressure from the government authorities to compromise the security, privacy of the bitcoin so I believe if he is dead then it would be a good sign for the bitcoin and my opinion doesn't mean that I am happy, I deeply respect this genius and wish a long healthy life for him (and want him to remain under cover forever).

The only issue I could see with this, is that if someone in his will was able to get a hold of all the Bitcoins that he supposedly has and then used them to just simply liquidate them for the will itself, that'd lead to some insane problems due to the amount of coins and amount of money those would all be worth. Gosh, that'd be a price drop if anyone has ever seen one. But, I'd have to agree with you on the fact that it would end the rumors and it would show that the currency can live without its founder or leader without any issue in the least, we could move on as a decentralized group and be fine. Still, wonderful man and I hope he lives till he's old.
