That means a connected furniture would only make sense if there is a display which could offer more services. In that you could start integrate Blockchain / Bitcoin. Any use case?

Guys, I was thinking how you can use Bitcoin or Blockchain in general regarding furnitures? Do you have any ideas? Thanks for some Brainstorming ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Guys, is anyone of you participating in the ICO of Augmentor? It is a game backed by Vinny Lingham and was presented in Shark Tank, South Africa. What do you guys think about it? Here is the link to the website: http://www.augmentorsgame.com/

Guys, do you remember the last time when Factom really pumped? It was around 19/20/21 December 2015 ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Yes, but this rule of 1mb has been implemented by satoshi in the first or second year. If this has been impletemented by a soft fork why is it not possible to increase it by a soft fork.

Guys, is it possible to increase the blocksize by a soft fork or only by a hard fork? Thx ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

This is a more technical question regarding a hash: If I use SHA 256 on this site http://www.xorbin.com/tools/sha256-hash-calculator and I produce a 256-bit (32-byte) hash value. Should the hash value not have 32 digits because it is 32-byte? I calculate 256 digits where 8 digits are 1 byte so I would get 32 digits but I receive a 64 digits hash value. What do I understand wrong here? Thx to everyone helping me out!

Guys,
would you consider the increasing mempool as an indication that the transactions on bitcoin are increasing or would be the price for a tx a better indication?
Thx for your thoughts
|
|
|
Alright, I understand again, thx.
The danger regarding this matter would be, that the new chain could become the chain with the most proof-work inside and all the nodes would switch to the new chain, right? However, blocks until a certain blockheight would not been changed because CheckPoints have been implemented, right?

Alright, I think Ive understood it.
Now the question:
What is the advantage in re-writing the bitcoin blockchain? Why should someone do this? Its just theoretically...
|
|
|
Nobody is going to 100% of the hashing power. Its like asking what if my grandmother was born with balls.
Yes, I know but it is more a theoretically question
|
|
|
Guys,
I have seen a graph from Peter Wuille where he is showing how much time you need to rewrite the whole bitcoin blockchain if you would have 100% of the hashing power. For example currently you would need almost 1 year.
What would be the advantage to rewrite the blockchain? Why would someone be interested to rewrite the blockchain?
Thanks to all!

the chance of getting a block is very very low when doing it alone. so it makes sense to join together to increase your chance and take a share of the winnings regularly. rather then do it alone and wait forever for a one time win
Thx Franky!!!

Guys, Ive find a quote from Adam Back regarding mining pools:
There is also one more factor on mining protocols. So many people use pools because it’s – you know, it’s a very large hashrate, and so you get low latency. And so long frequencies between winning blocks and high variance. And such that there is a variance, they use that.
What does he mean with that?
Thx in davance

Ive one more question...
I know that the Federated Servers are getting paid with Factoids.
Are they receving Factoids to make an incentive to set up a server? Does every Server receive a certain amount of the new 73,000 Factoids which are created or how are they getting paid?
Thx to all!

Guys, Ive question regarding the Entry Credits. Companies dont have to touch Factoids at all to make entries in the Factom System, which by the way is brilliant beacuse it reduces the risk of holding a cryptocurrency. However, I dont understand why Entry Credits cant be stolen. In the whitepaper is stated following:
Entry Credits are non transferable, so the user cannot assign them to another user’s public key, and selling private keys isn’t practical or useful.
Why is it not possible to transfer a entry credit?
Thx in advance!

Folks, my understanding is that M2 is currently just on the testnet and as soon as it has been tested successfully, M2 will be implemented on the main chain. That would be the actually M2 and Factom would announce it again?
Please correct me if Im wrong but did I get this right?
Absolutely correct! Plus: https://www.exodus.io will add Factoids after M2, and: I'm not 100% sure but I believe Factom will release a new wallet. Alright, thanks for the confirmation
