61  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to generate public key from private key on: December 16, 2017, 09:04:22 PM
https://coinb.in/#verify is good enough for this? Do it off-line of course.
62  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Split bitcoin on: December 16, 2017, 05:17:09 PM
I agree that this proposal is complex but Lightning Network isn't simple as well. Also bitcoin still stays a peer-to-peer electronic cash system whereas Lightning Network brings the middleman in the equation.

The Core won't do this so chaotic forks are filling the vacuum. It's messy but effective in relieving transaction fee pressure.
65  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Transaction Cost Problem on: December 14, 2017, 04:03:31 PM
This is the time where there are way many transactions then the number of mining pools to handle . I hope the team is working to build some more pools to divide the mining load .

68  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Transfer money from paper wallet to wallet and back to paper wallet and stay... on: December 13, 2017, 07:08:02 PM
There are no settings or addresses. Just paste a signed transaction and click 'submit transaction'.
69  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Transfer money from paper wallet to wallet and back to paper wallet and stay... on: December 13, 2017, 05:26:25 PM
NOTE: I've not tried broadcasting transactions using Tor, so I'm only guessing if that is actually possible.

70  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What happens if mempool grows huge? on: December 08, 2017, 10:55:21 PM
If bitcoin network becomes congested again then another chain is split from the last one (or some kind of lottery is employed) and so on.
71  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Sharing some personnal research and solution about scalling bitcoin on: December 06, 2017, 09:31:49 PM
There is a gap between 12×2+6×2+2×2+1=41 and 60.
Why not use product of primes instead of SHCN addition?
After all product is just a serial addition and it's miner's job to repeat operations.
72  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Sharing some personnal research and solution about scalling bitcoin on: December 06, 2017, 05:02:52 PM
In short, If this proposition is true :
"Every positive integer is the sum of Superior Highly Composite Number"
Quote
The first 15 superior highly composite numbers, 2, 6, 12, 60, 120, 360, 2520, 5040, 55440, 720720, 1441440, 4324320, 21621600, 367567200, 6983776800

1 is a positive integer so 'Quote from: moukafih.adil' isn't true, sorry.
73  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why do people hate segwit so much? on: December 06, 2017, 09:49:51 AM
There is really no point to invest much time and money to support something what doesn't solve anything at all.
I disagree with you, SegWit fixes transaction malleability and allows use of payment channels for example.

Even the segwit fees are now in avg higher than the non segwit before activation.
Fourfold increase of block size is much but not enough at mass adoption stage. Bitcoin needs on-chain scaling like this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2381234.0 . Or altcoins can be used instead of split chains (the current state of affairs) but it will be quite messy to setup tens/hundreds of different coins.
74  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Question about fees and transaction size on: December 02, 2017, 03:56:22 PM
Makes sense, so why do people vouch for BTC as the universal currency? Because most businesses are built on microtransactions.
With all my disregard of Lightening Network I admit that their payment channels are quite good.
You open a $100 payment channel and shuffle money with shop for free until there is nothing left or you have had enough of them.
Then you close the channel with one on-chain transaction.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Achain’s Fork Theory —— what do you think? on: November 29, 2017, 03:47:03 AM
I do not quite understand the idea of forking.
From Achain, users can branch out an infinite number of new chains? Or how? What is it for and what are the advantages?
Actually the original idea was to kill as many altcoins as possible

76  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Big problem with cryptocurrency used in ecommerce !!! on: November 28, 2017, 01:37:50 PM
Use MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) escrow when in doubt.
77  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why do people hate segwit so much? on: November 27, 2017, 07:26:28 AM
I think it's about Lightning Network which isn't easily implemented without SegWit. The SegWit soft fork complicates a bit things but the main worry is Lightning Network that leads to more centralization.
78  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Evilness in the fees on: November 23, 2017, 05:16:03 PM
kicking the can down the road with constant Block size upgrades.  Huh What did you propose?
Of course my proposal is radical but hopefully not stupid.
You can read a short explanation at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2381234.0 .
79  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Evilness in the fees on: November 23, 2017, 02:55:23 PM
The fees aren't a problem but the lack of block space is. I have proposed a way to scale the bitcoin network on chain https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2381234.0 , so far the development team is afraid to make radical moves. Meanwhile BCH and co. slowly but surely creep up https://coinmarketcap.com .
80  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Split bitcoin on: November 12, 2017, 03:24:37 AM
We can't have Bitcoin in its current state, just look at https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ . And I'm not sure Lightning Network will work as intended, even less so with 1MB blocks.
