61  Other / Beginners & Help / WTS Intel 320 300GB SSD on: February 24, 2012, 07:14:51 AM
I had an Intel 320 300GB SSD in my laptop and it died so I RMA'd it and got a brand new one from intel. I threw it in my mining rig yesterday because it's been sitting in my closet for over a month. I would really like to sell it. I still have original box with all original accessories.

This is the exact product: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167056

62  Other / Beginners & Help / 5870 + 6870 Mining Rig on: February 24, 2012, 06:55:44 AM
This is my Mining Rig:

NZXT H2 Silent Case (bought for silent gaming build but surprisingly runs pretty cool for this)
MSI 790GX-G65 Motherboard
AMD Phenom II 965 BE (old gaming processor I had)
Reference ATI 5870 (bought for $100 on craigslist  Grin)
Diamond 6870
OCZ 1250 watt PSU (yes I know it's overkill)
Intel 320 series 300GB SSD
WD 320GB HDD

5870 - 900/300 @ stock voltage (67C) 50% fan - 403.1 MHash/s
6870 - 950/300 @ stock voltage (58C) 45% fan - 299.0 MHash/s

Total - 702.1 MHash/s

I had the Intel 320 series 300GB SSD lying around and just threw it in here. I'm extremely interested to sell it! If anyone wants it PM me.
This is the thread I am selling the SSD on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=66018.0

What do you guys think about this?

It would be really sweet to see a single 7990 around 1.4 GHash! Can't wait to see the results once they come out.

I really hope bit coins go back up! They are starting to but we'll see. I just started getting into this a few months ago. It'd be a shame if the price crashed  Undecided

If you are fairly knowledgeable you should really build one yourself. You can find tutorials on youtube on how to put together a computer and if you need help with components you can either look through the forums for similar budget rigs or I could help you put together a part list. I enjoy computers so I'd be happy to give you any advice. Also I'm new here to the forum so I'm trying to establish myself on here. Right now I have a pretty small mining rig at about 1 GHash but I'm looking to expand in the near future. PM me if you have any questions.  Smiley
