63  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Withdrawing on BTCe error "Money hold. 40625 min left" on: August 18, 2013, 11:15:59 AM
What ridiculous 'customer service' this was their response

"Because you deposit then bank ask"

...wtf? None of my questions answered
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FBI is after bitcoin? Good! on: August 15, 2013, 01:07:13 PM
Meh, if the US do something stupid and start attacking bitcoin more than they already are- they need to realise that bitcoin is a GLOBAL currency and shutting bank accounts and closing exchanges does nothing. They just miss out on the current (and next wave) of entrepreneurs starting Bitcoin businesses in their country. Bitcoin will still be there tomorrow- itll flourish in friendlier jurisdictions.
65  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Withdrawing on BTCe error "Money hold. 40625 min left" on: August 15, 2013, 01:00:16 PM
Support gets back to me with:

"Hello

Our bank ask you provide a copy of you ID and utility bill in high res quality (>300DPI) due to high fraud activity."

I have responded with:
"Hi,

you wrote: "Our bank ask you provide a copy of you ID and utility bill in high res quality (>300DPI) due to high fraud activity." in response to my ticket.

1. I am withdrawing bitcoin, nothing to do with your bank.
2. Why do I have to do this? I did not know BTCe had a verified service?
3. Why cant I withdraw my bitcoin, I want to withdraw Bitcoin and not USD with your bank.
4. All I have done is deposit to your bank, why do they suspect fraud transactions?

Please answer above first.

Thanks"

I am verified with Gox and Bitstamp but this seems fishy, if they want me to be a verified account then that should affect my ability to deposit not withdraw BTC...My deposit was obviously accepted and i bought BTC with it however when withdrawing it this happens. Happy to receive my money but not give it back...
66  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Withdrawing on BTCe error "Money hold. 40625 min left" on: August 14, 2013, 11:59:32 AM
Not using Tor or a VPN. Can't even input an address to withdraw the BTC to. Lets see how this support ticket goes......
67  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Withdrawing BTC from MTgox 'Invalid bitcoin address, please confirm your input' on: August 14, 2013, 10:07:49 AM
I placed a support ticket, and kept trying to withdraw, as I clicked it for the millionth time it was a success. Same address, same everything. The support desk person must have either flicked a switch and made it work or the hotwallet got some more funds.
68  Economy / Service Discussion / Withdrawing on BTCe error "Money hold. 40625 min left" on: August 14, 2013, 10:05:06 AM
Hi,

When I try to withdraw BTC on BTCe I get this error, has anyone had this before? I have no idea what this is as I usually have no problem with BTCe....
69  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CoinJar - Australia's first VC-backed Bitcoin startup on: August 01, 2013, 12:00:59 PM
Haters gonna hate, Coinjar is fine, if you dont like dont use it. I'll continue using them.

They're the lowest fees and best price, nuff said.
70  Economy / Service Discussion / Withdrawing BTC from MTgox 'Invalid bitcoin address, please confirm your input' on: July 28, 2013, 10:14:36 AM
Exactly as the title reads, address is correct, tried multiple times on different addresses, still no luck. Give me my money MTgox! Anyone had similar problem?
71  Other / MultiBit / Re: MultiBit on: July 28, 2013, 09:17:10 AM
Just started using MultiBit, works great! Is there a way to add more than 2 rows in the exchange tickers up the top though? I want to keep an eye on about 4-5 markets at a glance.

Cheers
72  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: THE TRUTH: Can someone withdraw fiat money from MTGOX? on: July 23, 2013, 02:03:01 PM
Doing the same thing
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.S. bank closing all of my deposit accounts because of bitcoins on: July 13, 2013, 04:49:06 AM
The US government is definitely the most hostile regime to bitcoin, why else would banks be scared to have your service and earn money off your wire transfers. Glad I don't live there. @OP, best look around for a new bank, goodluck.
74  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CoinJar - Australia's first VC-backed Bitcoin startup on: July 09, 2013, 01:54:46 PM
I signed up to check you guys out, then jaw drops, seriously have you guys done your research on this? You know why there's no others doing this?
There's been a few attempt at this by others you do know that? You know why they've failed?

Care to point out some hints?

We're VC-backed so I'm fairly sure that we (and our investors) have done thorough research on everything we've done so far. At the very least we have access to professionals in the field.

It'll be great if you can be more specific in your questions.

ok then so you don't know and you never actually did the ground work......OTHERWISE YOU WOULD NOT ALLOW DIRECT TRANSFERS INTO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT FROM CLIENTS BANK ACCOUNT......101 of trading btc in Oz dumbass

and don't even comback saying oh but we sat down with the banks business advisors told them what we were doing and its all cool with them....lol cause that means squat.

BTW not attacking what you guys are doing, your platform is good, your fees are great and a breath of fresh air in Oz (but trading via bank transfers will be your undoing).

Do you have evidence to suggest depositing from a clients bank account to another bank account used by a service like this is a problem? Or just posts from people like bitinnovate and spendbitcoins saying that they are discontinuing parts of their business so you have assumed this is due to client bank transfers?
75  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E.com exchange Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin <-> USD\BTC (fee 0.2%) on: July 09, 2013, 01:44:02 PM
Is there a way to withdraw more than the daily 100BTC limit? What is the purpose of this?
76  Economy / Services / Re: Arbitrage with guaranteed profits with Bitcoin-Brokers. on: July 08, 2013, 12:52:20 PM
I am interested in your idea here, I recently setup a bank account in another jurisdiction so I can more effectively setup arbitrage- 5 figure trades. However, at the moment, I am just not game to trust a brand new website, no rep forum member and new business with my money. What can you do to allay my fears?
77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchange to buy BTC for aussies on: July 08, 2013, 12:40:29 PM
+1 for Coinjar.

Bit trade Australia also look like a quality company.
78  Economy / Services / Re: B-BOT: New MtGox EMA Trading Platform on: June 25, 2013, 08:39:19 AM
I can't really use this bot now with the API issues. I leave it for a few hours and it loses connection with MTgox and it hangs until I restart my browser or click 'Save and apply settings'. However, If I have missed a crossover, I dont want to do this because if I reset it'll immediately buy in (because it re-establishes a connection and realizes I should have sold hours ago) at that price which is not the best idea.

V2 needs to come out soon!
79  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Please help me sell 1 BTC - Bitinnovate and Spendbitcoins have both let me down on: June 24, 2013, 01:31:23 PM
Also looking for sellers now Bitinnovate is gone
80  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bit Innovate: Temporary Closure (Australia) on: June 24, 2013, 01:29:04 PM
Unfortunate, they were quick for selling with. Also was lining up a few big orders for them.
