61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: August 22, 2015, 01:38:49 AM
As others have reported, I am getting higher local quark hashrate reports but nicehash shows I'm down by a lot.

Also having an issue now where when mining Lyra2REv2 where the miner will say its launching 6 threads for my 6 cards, but only 1 card starts hashing. Dunno what's causing that, doesn't happen with other algorithms.
sp said he'll look into it:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=826901.msg12201021#msg12201021

I'm using sp's build, currently mining at give-me-coins and it is showing correct hashrate without "--diff 2".
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: August 14, 2015, 12:16:33 PM
I have tested p2pool.pl. It took many hours to reach the correct hashrate, and payouts are small. The miner pool is changing the difficulty all the time and it leads to lost hashes. reject rate is pretty high.. I think solomining is the best option here.
predicted payout 1 750ti:
$1.43 per day for one 750ti @ 4.3 MHASH
actual payout: (8 hours mining (24h payout is estimated)
$0.3 per day
After 30 hours of mining I've got around 16($0.96) Vertcoins a day per 750ti (recalculated to 24h average))   (p2pool.pl with --diff 2
Nicehash is currently paying around $0.41 per 750ti per day.
So someone is renting your hashrate and make money... Smiley
Note that the difficulty has raised from around 230 to 282 (+10.9%) in 24 hours and the next payouts will be smaller.

The vertcoin diff is now 330 and the total Net hashrate is 9.76 GHASH

I've mined 188 Vertcoins in 58 hours. (6 750ti's) (25MHASH) around $11

13,42 Vertcoins's per 750ti per day the profit is dropping
Here's my statistic...
I got a total of 187.8 vertcoins in 48 hours.  First on pool.verters, then switched to p2pool.pl and finally settled at give-me-coins.
Total hashrate around 30MH/s.

For 30MH/s, give-me-coins estimated about 103 coins/day @ 306 difficulty level.  However, I get only 70+ coins per day.
Assuming 70 coins/day, and at 0.00022 btc/coin, I will only get 0.0154 btc/day.

I'm trying my luck at give-me-coins.  Not specifying any diff.  Hash rate looks correct at the pool.  Smiley

Has been mining on pool.verters for more than 12 hours but getting lesser coins than projected. Probably due to rising difficulty. Sad

coinotron is showing half the hashrate as that on miner. Does anyone have an idea what are you supposed to earn in VTC per day with a 750ti & with 970?
Here's what sp estimated in $$$: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=826901.msg12110494#msg12110494

LYRA2v2 HASH RATES--

These are the hash rates my cards are mining Lyra2v2 at:

     GTX 750ti  --     4.4Mh/s

     GTX 960    --     5.9Mh/s

     GTX 970    --     8.8Mh/s

They are stable at these rates, with not much difference between card variety, or rig, or software variety (DJM34 ccminer and SP_ release dot 60).       --scryptr
My cards:
GTX 970 = 10Mh/s, overclocked @1440MHz, TDP limited to 150W
GTX 980 = 10.9Mh/s, overclocked @1420MHz, TDP limited to 150W
In comparison, GTX 980 doesn't score so well  Sad

i found on verters pool 6 blocks... payment is is 120 vtc... (from 300)... shit!
p.s. go to solo and test!
You're really lucky!  I have never solo mine before...

57 with -i 22.9 will test 59 with -X 128/256 now.

59 -X 128 below -X 256 was at 9970 max. no SS at 256 saw no need.

For GTX960, probably you'll want to try with "-X 64" or somewhere between 64 to 128.
For my GTX970/980, I'm using -X 128.  I limit the TDP of the card, so lower CUDA threads count scores better.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: August 10, 2015, 02:07:46 PM
For this release 59, I'm using -X intensity parameter instead of -i.  My older setting of "-i 23" seems not working well for me.
So, I dropped -i and used -X instead (setting the cuda threads count).

Here's what I found:

Release 58 and before:
-i 23 == 8388608 cuda threads
-i 24 == 16777216 cuda threads (default value if you don't specify any intensity)

Release 59:
-X 128 = 8388608 cuda threads
-X 256 = 16777216 cuda threads

Basically, number of cuda threads = 256 * 256 * (value of X)
sp mentioned it few posts above.  Please correct me if I misinterpreted anything Smiley

Once a while I will get the following error message after running ccminer for a while:
Cuda error in func 'cuda_check_cpu_setTarget' at line 28 : the launch timed out and was terminated.

Anyone have any idea what might be the issue?  Thank you.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: August 07, 2015, 12:35:51 AM
has anyone figured out a solution to the memory leak on the newer builds?  it seems to happen for most of the popular algos.

here's what happens:  reboot, start a fresh mining session. Stop the miner using CTRL+C, get a seg fault message almost all the time, restart the miner, and almost instantly, one GPU crashes (hash shows about 1/3 normal speed), exact same speed everytime the hashes pop up.

rebooting will always fix the issue.

I monitor the cards with Precision X and just wait till they drop below 400 before I begin a new session.  it never crashes for me if I wait till they drop down to below 400

Also you can just disable your video card in Control Panel > Hardware & Sound > Device Manager

then Re-Enable it after a couple of seconds and you wont have to reboot.

(I dont have my monitor connected to my Mining GPU's either so disabling the card does not prevent me from seeing what I am doing. I am not sure what will happen if you disable the card you are using with your Monitor )
You still can disable the card that attached to a monitor.  The screen will go blank for a couple of seconds but will be back again.  After that you can re-enable the card back. I have done it a number of times on my system when something goes wrong and my card stuck at low clock speed.  Didn't want to reboot so I guess the best method just disable and re-enable the card to recover.

Had expect more out of 32 cores, but core speed is 1Ghz below my Intel rigs. Still not to bad I guess.   Roll Eyes
As a comparison, my i7-4790K is achieving close to 228H/s on 8 threads at 4GHz (Turbo disabled).  However, I still think it doesn't justify for the amount of power my CPU consumed. Roll Eyes

Does anyone happen to know the current speed for Neo-scrypt on a 750ti, 960, and 970?

GTX HASH RATES--

I get 180kh/s, 320kh/s, and 510kh/s, respectively, for NeoScrypt.  I do not have a GTX 980.       --scryptr

P.S.  Anyone who wants a game code for "BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT", please PM me.  The code EXPIRES TODAY, July 31!  I only have one code to give away, and it only works once.  So, the first PM in my message box gets the code.  If it is after midnight, it is too late.  ONE RULE:  You must have posted in this particular thread prior to this post.

The game code is a legitimate promotional code, I earned it, but cannot sell it.  Please send me a PM with "BATMAN" in the subject line.  Thanks!  I'll check my messages at least once an hoour today.       --scryptr
I get around 650kH/s for NeoScrypt on GTX980.  But that's with TDP limited to 150W.  I figure out it's more efficient to run at lower wattage.

I wonder what will be the hashrate looks like for Axiom algo compared to X11/quark?
