You are not obligated to create account and use workers with username.  You may continue to use BTC address for mining if you want, payouts will be the same - but no detailed stat, just text string like http://www.kano.is/address.php?a=1KanoiBupPiZfkwqB7rfLXAzPnoTshAVmb

Any of these 2 options for your choice.

So this is address mining but not account - you will not see any workers inside Website https://kano.is/index.php?k=workers  just text stat like you specified link above.

To see detailed stat you have to register here https://kano.is/index.php?Register=1 , specify your payout address here https://kano.is/index.php?k=settings and then use your account name with worker like Biodom.worker1 or Biodom_S7 like described at the main page https://kano.is/index.php

So after this you will see your worker here https://kano.is/index.php?k=workers and other detailed stat.

Please note that username is Case-sensitive.

Ok, once you have a worker hashing to the pool, how long does it take to see it listed in your account?
Immediately after 1st share found by this worker.
64  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: January 17, 2016, 07:29:21 PM
You was owed when entered this pool Smiley
With any answer you may get here - you can't change anything in pool math or payouts. Calc and accept this or move to another pool with transparent payouts.

66  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitfury chip integration on: January 17, 2016, 06:20:03 PM
To my knowledge BitFury has remained pretty silent on this chip as far as development and integration goes. As with basically every other BitFury announcement we should probably assume this chip doesn't exist until we see concrete proof of it in action.

Now I have to study the software to make sure it's not set up to send the previous owner my shares. Frick.
You will not learn anything as at least you don't have software running at rental site and will never get it.
And about your rigs - just upgrade this to factory firmware.

Next block will arrive in less than 5hrs!
Nobody knows it as this is impossible to know.

He must be sleeping already... from server console. Not available to users.

Maybe you accidentally downloaded a virus?
It doesn't matter if this guy silly enough to use the same password on different sites and then blame someone else for own obtuseness... Especially using kind of online wallet if so (otherwise password does not matter).

btw..... the S7 beeping all at the same time was a scary affair because it's past midnight in this part of the world.

Any recommendations to soften the sound of the beeps - ie. not completely cut the speaker off - but perhaps cover the hole where the beep is coming from. Someone suggested "superglue" to cover the pinhole of the speaker - has anyone tried this yet? Ideally muting the beep via config panel is best.
Superglue will not help I guess... But 'hot melting glue' will do.

I'm seeing low hash rate warnings starting at 11 AM PST (15 minutes ago).

I don't see mention of a planned shut down. Is there a server problem or another DDOS attack?
Workers page shows full speed at my account. website working, no any probs.
It might be troubles at your side or your ISP tech issues...

Here it is end of 2015 year calc as Dec, 30 2015..

102.27% - all time luck for 1 year and 3 months  (+2.27%)
100.6% - tx fees paid to miners (0.6%)

Total:

[ 100% (block reward)  - 0.9% (pool fee) + 0.6% (tx fees paid to miners) ] * 1,0227 (+2.27% long term luck) = 101.96 = 102%

Try to find another pool   who pays +2% to their miners.
All PPS pools have 2-4% fees so you will be paid 96-98% so total will be less for -4-6% from your possible profit at kano.is pool.

This is simplified calc for sure but maybe it helps to understand math better.   This was already told by kano many times but maybe in another words,  , please try to read at least 100 last pages.

How many blocks per day on average are we supposed find on kano pool?
One block each 15 hours w/ current hashrate at 100% luck

Sorry, my fault, didn't finish my teriyaki chicken from lunch today.  Just did now, a block is sure to crack any minute now...  Grin
Ought!  I believe this is exactly the reason.  Please control yourself next time! Cheesy

What is a reason for manual diff settings?  CKPool VarDiff works like a charm. Do not change anything and just mine. 1042 is start value and it will be automatically adjusted within 10-20 minutes.

I am sure CKPool handles vardiff  very well, just seems Ant s2s does not, and tries to throw a fit with vardiff at some point, no idea why though..
Oh ok I see. Lowest Ant I have is S3..  900-950-1000 is ok for 1 TH/s miner IMO.

[ It's funny because I was doing some PMing about questions on Hashrate and BAMMED, after I looked and said what the?HuhHuhHuhHuh
Nothing funny actually.. It might be good idea to read before write, restarts happens several times a week/month. Everything announced in this topic.

Elapsed time at Workers page is time after previous network block found and this is not linked with any restarts.
