61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to hack your bitcoin from your wallet? on: December 23, 2016, 09:06:58 PM
If you want to be sure, install the wallet first in your PC right after you have formatted it. Then add a strong and complex password like 32-65 characters which contains no dictionary words but only something that has meaning for you only, special characters help a lot too.

By doing like this you suddenly are way too far ahead of the game for any hacker. Just keep your PC protected though and never use web wallets or wallets that you have to access from some third parties like blockchain.info, xapo, coinbase etc.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: December 23, 2016, 08:52:54 PM
In my personal experience making gambling online or on physical casinos , Gambling help me a lot when it comes in financial status. Im good in playing gambling and this is the reason why I build my own house by helped of gambling.
Gambling is not always winning of course theres a time that you will come home broke/lose. Gambling needs large patience that before i dont have , Now I have lof of patience that i earn on playing gambling games

So you're planning on making a house with gambling? I think that could help if you win a big hit. I really hope I could too. Like the person who won 8 BTC with just 5mbtc.

I guess he is an exceptional texas holdem poker player as that is the only way you could build a house from gambling winnings. In my country and many more in Europe there are specifically clubs , underground clubs where you can play texas holdem against other people, offline and not online, in real life. If you are good you can build a house and much more.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 23, 2016, 07:10:01 PM
Of course the people who did bet on Juventus today were greatly disappointed. That is normal. But what is normal is that different sport books give the odd for Juve to win only 1.65 and that is not the case when playing against second place in the standings ,especially in an event that is not for the Serie A. Both teams to score yes was a good option today. I usually bet on Juventus but did not today, although to bet on Milan European handicap 0:2 was the ideal choice with 1.45 odd.

Now they are shooting the penalties. I think Juventus will win.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC38 hot wallet got hacked and lost 1.5 million on: December 23, 2016, 06:52:00 PM
I am not that much surprised to be honest. I expect the same thing to happen to almost any online exchange or web wallet. Hackers are one step ahead (if it is really hackers doing) so we need to be 2 steps ahead of them by using a well protected pc with a desktop wallet like electrum or a hardware wallet in order to be safe. Personally since I have bought the hardware wallet a few months ago I don't read these kind of news at all, only the news that are posted in the forum here. It's sad to see the same story and the same way of people losing money.

This (storing coins in web wallets or exchanges) reminds me the signature of a member here who have said it super right:
Insanity, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: December 23, 2016, 06:36:55 PM
Betting on Real Madrid to win the league with a wonderful odd of 1.50, I would bet 10.000 Euro if I had such money as that is easy a +5000 Euro profit in the end of the season. Perfect for the perfect holidays of 2017.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the difference between game and gamble? on: December 23, 2016, 06:25:06 PM
If you mean gaming like in Pc, PS4 or XBOX One gaming than there is a hell of whole lot difference in here. Gambling is designed to make you money (0.00001% chance) or to make you broke in the long run (99.9999% chance). Gaming is designed to give you a pleasure to spend a good time with friends (online friends) and pass time in a good fashion. Gaming is much better for the health than gambling.
67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the location affect when we gamble? on: December 23, 2016, 05:53:51 PM
No that does not affect at all the outcome. Usually online casinos have built in algorithms to predict the outcome of a bet, usually they use the MD5 Hash, the provably fair ones. In fact many of them, if you stay let's say 5-10 minutes without betting in an online slot then the MD5 Hash changes to a new one, this way casinos are sure that you will not break their system even if you are a hacker.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Bitcoin ransomware report- 11.9% victim pay to recover their files on: December 21, 2016, 07:57:27 PM
. And they will put the blame to bitcoin.

Nothing to do with bitcoin, and I don't see why they will blame bitcoin. If they get hacked it's their incompetence of not protecting good enough their PC. Bitcoin is just pseudo-anonymous money that with the right tools can be converted to fully anonymous that's why those ransomware hackers asks to be paid in such currency.

In the end it is the user duty to protect their PC.
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 21, 2016, 07:42:18 PM
Bayern Munich vs Leipzig - Bayern win - Massive game at the top of the Bundesliga bit I see Bayern coming out on top here.

Bayern to win this match is very likely that is true.
But I have a feeling that Leipzip will make at least one goal. The team is incredibly strong in counter attacks. And they will get their chances tonight!
That's why I put some money on both teams to score.
It will definitely be one of the most interesting ames of the first half of this season.
Already 1-0 for Bayern. they have this game already handled and will no doubt go on to win this match.
Glad that atleast one team is doing what they are sposse to be doing and dominating their opponent early on. Grin

Bayern is 2-0 and it's Leipzig with red card since a few minutes. I think this game may even go to over 4.5 goals or even over 5.5 goals. If Bayern continue to play like the beginning of the match placing a bet on over 4.5 goals has really nice odds live now at this moment. I am trying my luck with very small amount. Maybe it ends 4-1 or 5-1 for Bayern Munchen.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: December 21, 2016, 07:03:39 PM
I personally don't feel ashamed from being a gambler. However in my neighborhood people think you are some kind of retard, alcoholic addict and all the worse if they know you are a gambler. For this reason I don't game in public, only online through FIAT sportsbook (very little amounts) and through bitcoin, my main betting activity. Bitcoin helps a lot in this regard.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football league on: December 21, 2016, 06:37:27 PM
Large selection of games tonight in Ligue 1. Some definite potential for a nice winning parlay with good odds.
Who's got the balls Cheesy

Not me. I will play the single game, the most obvious one to me which is Monaco vs Caen a big over 2.5 goals should be happening quite easily tonight. Odd is not that good but knowing that Monaco 90% of their matches at least at home have finished over 2.5 goals this should be the case too here. If maybe I will have guts will go for over 3.5 goals..
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: December 20, 2016, 09:00:39 PM
It's bitcoin is feared by the government. Many of the countries are against it because they cannot control it. However the jail happens in such countries when the bitcoin user is not very knowledgeable how to safe guard himself. If someone use TOR together with a VPN the government cannot track him down in most of the cases.

As far as I know only Russia so far has declared bitcoin banned and if someone from there uses it risk jails. Yet a lot of Russians use it without problems at all.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football league on: December 20, 2016, 08:34:10 PM
Sounds like the safest bet for tomorrow, Monaco to win. I would be careful though. Monaco has screwed us many times this season and tomorrow may be no different.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 20, 2016, 07:56:03 PM
Juventus will win again because there's no real competition from other teams. Juventus always invest with great intelligence, they get the best players at the lowest possible cost. If other teams want to fight against Juventus they have first to beat them in their management which I think it will take quite some time.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin prices rise up to $100,000, will you still gamble using bitcoins? on: December 20, 2016, 07:41:06 PM
Well if one bitcoin rise up to 100.000 for me there's no more need to gamble, if I have 10 bitcoins by then I can be considered a rich person in my country , I can open up a business, invest a few money in buying a shop and giving it for rent and many other things. Gambling would be my last idea if I have 1 mln Euros (or dollars).
76  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: which btc provider ist the safest? on: December 20, 2016, 07:16:26 PM
Bitpanda is from Austria but their quality and strict management is the same as in Germany. It's very easy there actually as they accept all major payment processors. Once you verify your email you can buy up to 1000 Euro worth of bitcoin per day. If you verify your phone number than this amount increases dramatically. It's a really good option this one and of the safest so far.
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: December 20, 2016, 07:00:39 PM
I haven't done the worst mistake in gambling yet, but I have done quite a few mistakes when playing sportsbook. I read the news and analysis and if I bet on the event a lot of people bet on I have lost several times by doing like this. What I have learned through my everyday experience in sport betting is that the chances are higher to win for example in a not know ice hockey league than in a well known famous soccer major Europe league. Just my conclusion though, maybe I am totally wrong.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashandme Challenge to make 1000mbtc from 2mbtc -Sports Betting- on: December 20, 2016, 06:15:03 PM
Good luck to your challenge but with odds 1.9-2.5 no one here has achieved 10 wins in a row and I think this is going to be quite difficult but anyway I am following this thread. I like this kind of challenges but trust me I have no guts to go all in after I have won 8-9 bets in a row with the odds you are trying. Good luck again.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you gamble your (or your child's) school fund? on: December 20, 2016, 06:06:05 PM
Well I am not young anymore but surely any money my parents gave me for my daily spendings in high school and university I spent 70% of them in gambling through different casino. This was pocket money for me and I never regret doing such things. I used to go with the 10 Euro the minimum to play in casinos in my city and played slots there and got a lot of free drinks out of this 10 Euro. In the end was a great experience for me.

I think I would not spend my child school fund though on gambling as that is the clear example of gambling addiction. I am not addicted (yet).
80  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Alphabay Exit Scam!!! on: December 19, 2016, 08:45:07 PM
Even if it is an exit scam I am not surprised. After the exit scam of evolution market with 12 mln dollars in bitcoin value this one will not make a surprise to me.

Personally I don't think it's an exit scam rather a change of address. FBI and NSA are after them so a bit of mixing is always needed in the dark net. They have been down before 2-3 days or even more than 1 week, but history has shown they have always been back online.

I hope is such case again as they are one of the major markets if not the major for the moment in the dark net.
