63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Tempurature. How hot is too hot? on: April 28, 2014, 06:12:54 PM
I am fairly new to mining and need to know when to give my card some time to cool down. My GTX 750 is currently running at about 45 Celsius. Will my card shutdown before catching on fire or do I need to monitor the temps?

45 C ? You got to be kiddin' me!  Cheesy
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: don't use X11,many peopel use fgpa mining X11 coin on: April 28, 2014, 11:59:46 AM
i am a china miner, i can tell all of you, many peopel use fgpa mining X11 coin in china.
that's why gpu miner can't get a good profitability for mining X11 coin.
the X11 COIN can't prevent fpga or asic.
X11 has been cracked by fpga at this time.
so it's not fair for gpu miner.
we must ban x11 coin

66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [Scrypt] Best MultiPool with profitability coin switch (check out the list!) on: April 24, 2014, 09:27:31 PM
I like https://ghash.io/MULTI a lot but they need to add more coins

PROS: very stable, reliable and just as btc pool,  multi is a very nice set-up pool, good uptime, 0% fee, good support, instant payouts, instant withdrawals, they have the exchange integrated, it's all you ever dreamed of from  technical point of view-many pools should take notes
CONS: few alt coins for multipool, the min payout threshold for auto payout should be set by user or leave it also an option.

the key is lead time. when the pre-order clietns just got the titan, my clients has make good profit. Titan needs at least 6 months.

Actually NO! You're bragging about your delivered miners but you deliver LATE and that is a fact just read how many people got their miners very very late not as promised ! At least in my case they came 2 weeks late and that after I was writing tens of mails to your support just enough to fuck up my projected ROI.

Your clients that you presume "did a good profit"  are still on  ROI time and far from "good profit".

Before blaming KNC for Titan's preorders and trying to rest assured the potential buyers please keep in mind that we will see the A2 Innosilicon Terminator chips on various mining machines in  1 (ONE) month if not sooner and I think you all read already about their chip efficiency. They are real : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXA_pV9CyMk

i already made ROI with hardware from jack, he delivered on time to me, stop hating around

Please do elaborate on that.. In my calculations thats not possible - with any of the gear he sold.

Don't mind him he's LA's  suck puppet troll.

Right. If you have problem with deposit WC at cryptsy, create a ticket.
They helped me few times in 1-15 minutes after ticket!
Hard to believe, but support at cryptsy is very fast now!

Cryptsy's  24h total volume is over 2 k BTC . Now compare to mintpal BC trading which is over 3 k BTC/ 24h for that coin only, not to mention the rest. You get a clear picture for what cryptsy has become into. Now they are being very responisve when they 're going down the hill?
What about few months ago when they were no.1 and  people asking all over the forum to  fix their damn bugs ? I'm so glad there is competition!

Im looking at over 2 k BTC/24h volume on mintpal and I'm like wtf is this coin, such new, much pricey again? It's insane!
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore XPM GPU Miner discussion on: April 17, 2014, 07:21:36 AM
true, we really need alternatives.. for some reason ypool is not giving me enough shares and some are really low compared to other gpus, some show up as NA... does anyone think this could be due to DDOS?

Hi Claymore,

Does your miner support other pools, like rpool, it also compatible with xpt protocol.  The ypool now can easily start a 51% attack.

I was unhappy with ypool shares too, getting low payments -hit like 6  blocks in 3 days and was paid shit so I went solo. If you're a slow miner and just want to leech go for ypool, but if you're fast try solo> there are 2 solo clients now one free and one paid and you will also help to network descentralisation .

Claymore's miner is  good but  he doesn't want to release a solo one atm for the reasons he stated few pages back but I would be very glad to still use his miner to another pool that pays properly.

Price is reduced from 35 to 25 XPM per license.

Great! I payed yesterday for 3 licenses now price lowered. Do I get a discount ?  Undecided
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Primecoin GPU miner: up to 1.4 chains / day on a 280x on: April 15, 2014, 09:43:37 AM
I have trouble starting the client:

This is on a W8x64 machine. The hw key I sent was generated on it.
Any ideas?

Have you paid for a licence? if so then put the miner key they send you in a text file and call it miner.key and then make sure before you save it you select all files in the bottom drop down menu so it will be transformed form a text file to a .key file make sure that is in the same folder as the gpu-server and it shouldn't show that hardware message again

Got it working. Thank you!

Did any of you try the R52 voltmod described here : http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/gridseed-voltage-mod/
I'm in between when I have the time.
79  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: LightningAsic Gridseed Controller Firmware V3 on: April 12, 2014, 06:00:36 PM
Not working for me :

I'm on W7x64  v2.0 trying to update using Chrome as recommended. Any ideas?

Ok I upgraded to v3. I used v1 bin for my v2 controller as it didn't work with v2 bin.
80  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: LightningAsic Gridseed Controller Firmware V3 on: April 12, 2014, 03:44:46 PM
So should I move on flashing LAG3355_12-RC10d now? Or I should try uploading v1 bin as stated in Troubleshooting : "Image check 'platform_check_image' failed" : try the v1 bin image"  despite I am on v2 ?
