68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could alleviate monetary policy problems? on: September 24, 2015, 10:35:42 AM
Bitcoin-like currency can alleviate monetary policy problems? Maybe. Bitcoin is naturally against banks interests, but a digital currency could be good for the masses. Imagine all the counterfeit paper money being printed everyday. This couldn't happen with crypto. Also I believe a technology like blockchain can help. With a big, public registry would guarantee transparency.
69  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Which is the best machine to start mining? on: September 24, 2015, 10:19:40 AM
What is the best starting point in terms of price/value/difficulty?

Too vague. How much you have to invest? Is free electricity available? Do your calcs here http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/bitcoin-mining-calculator
Like others suggested, S5 or S7 are good. Always consider ROI because it's hard to achieve without free electricity.
70  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safe way buying BTC in Ireland? on: September 22, 2015, 08:34:08 AM
Hey all,
I want to buy some BTC have done before threw localbitcoin but I have read i can be a dodgy site? I just want to buy my coin
safely my preferred method would be a debit card (Pre Paid) Can anyone recommend some safe sites to buy from?

Also a wallet... Last time I used localbitcoin I just transferred my coin from he wallet on LBC straight to its destination.
What I want is to buy as much coin as I can at a time and put it in a safe wallet of my own then when I have enough
coins built up or what I need use that wallet to send to destination. So can anyone help with a safe wallet? What I need
do and such.

Cheers all, hope someone can help.

With pre paid, best services is Coinbase. Circle is good, too. Coinbase is a California based company (for more info, look here https://www.coinbase.com/about). Circle (https://www.circle.com/en/about) has a great mobile app. Check out the fees, and try what you prefer.
For securing your wallet, use one of the tutorials in this forum.
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is SEPA anonymouse on: September 21, 2015, 01:30:36 PM
Hello

I want to buy some bitcoin with my UBS bank at Switzerland, I want to use SEPA payment to buy bitcoin, I want to know, Is my name will be displayed on beneficiary account?

Thank you

No, it's not anonymous. All your data (name, IBAN, SWIFT if I remember) are displayed. If you want to buy bitcoins anonymously, try LocalBitcoins.

72  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most reliable way to start increasing your trust rankings? on: September 21, 2015, 01:25:40 PM
So, how can I start earning trust on here when it seems to me that most people who deal stuff on bitcointalk only deal with people with green trust rankings and are more than just a newbie/new member.  I would prefer to deal with people with green trust ranking myself, but that just validates my point.  So what ways are there to increase my trust? It seems to be very hard to gain the trust of people when you have a low membership status  Undecided

Try selling digital goods. It's a fast way to increase your trust. Of, if you have any type of ability, sell yourself: propose services! IT abilities are very popular in this forum.
73  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BTC mining profitability on: September 20, 2015, 05:17:26 PM
Looking to invest in BTC mining,

got 5MWh coming from solar energy
what is the maximum electricity price that could be used from such a plant for generating bit coins in profitable way.
my cost for electricity cost is at 100euro/MWh.
Is that price acceptable?

Looking forward for feedback.

Many thanks!

It's not easy, miner cost and performance (say even build process, or new/used miner) can influence the final cost. Look for advices from the experts here, but make your own calcs with tools like http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is buy and hold a good investment option with price around $230 - Aug 2015 on: September 19, 2015, 10:32:14 AM
If you think longterm (up to 5 years), yes it's a good investment. Bitcoin only waits for a boost.
75  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I make money trading on: September 19, 2015, 09:46:19 AM
I see many traders in chat box on btc-e that seem very smart and know when to buy and sell and seem to be making big profits. How do I trade like them?

I suggest you to buy basic trading books, like forex for example. You need to learn the basics before. Then, try some service that permits fake trading (it's like a game, just to learn and you don't lose money). At the end, you can trade bitcoins at major exchanges. I advise you chinese exchanges, because of liquidity. Good luck.
76  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: should i subscribe signature campaign in newbie account? on: September 19, 2015, 09:37:15 AM
i wanna earn more so i though to join signature campaign. so is this good to join signature campaign in newbi account?

Signature campaigns are not a joke. You can join them, at newbie level payments are low, but I think you can find some offers. When your rank will increase, you will be able to join more profitable campaigns. But please, before you start, you should post in a certain quality. Try to partecipate, joining discussions, and share your knowledge.

The only maybe the safe way it to invest in alt coins but please make a research about the coin that you want to invest.
He can even make a research but ok, he will find a good coin as I said, but I need even the right strategy to make profit, sometime a good coin is worse than a shit coin
