61  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has anyone successfully used really high leverage or is that just gambling? on: April 26, 2019, 07:29:33 PM
For some, yes. Using that 100x leverage with scalping can be successful and they gained profits for a small percentage but as for my personal experienced, I just liquidated because the higher the leverage the sooner the liquidation rate. And the risk is really high, too.
After that experience, I do not want to try it again and risk my whole fund to lose.
This type of trade was exactly what destroyed my trading career in forex, and based on my personal experience, I think it is greed because that was what led me into increasing my leverage because of the winnings I was enjoying trading with a very low leverage.

I thought I could risk it, so I took my chance, since the market has been good for a while, the moment I took that step, as if some sort of people were watching my moves, that is how the market went against me, and it was just like twinkle of my eye, the dip was so high that before I could stop my loss, I had already entered negative
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is the reputation with Crypto Gambling Foundation? on: April 26, 2019, 06:59:40 PM

It is an interesting website. My worries though is with the site structure. How transparent is the site? Is it corruptible? Who is checking and auditing it. It is certainly acentralized and can be corrupted eventually just as any other thing with no strong transparency

Wish we had something like this, in decentralized manner for ICO
Well, you may never be able to tell until you try it and from what I can deduce from many of the comments and reviews I have seen about the site, I think it will be a great site that is worthy of trying out.

It is a good thing that you will not just take any site that is promoted without making any findings, but now that you have the vital points to use in making further research, you can just do little research about them and probably be among people that will safe others of the stress of having to research in them again, it looks like you will be a good researcher.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: April 26, 2019, 06:08:38 PM
Gambling is not for the faint hearted person. While everyone starts out for entertainment purposes only many persons are sucked into addiction.

Gambling is for people who have great self control and have great reasoning and thinking deeply for a case and not for people who rush and don't think of the consequences. These last people are often sucked into addiction.
When people decide to get into gambling game, this is the mindset they usually have too and they promise heaven and earth not to become addicted like that friends of theirs that is already addicted to it, and then when they start and the game becomes very entertaining , they realize that they become addicted to it, especially when they are playing gambling that requires live winnings, they always feel there is still a chance left for them to win no matter how much they have lost, so they keep hoping and playing it until they become so addicted to it. The best way not to get addicted to gambling is to never play it.
64  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: April 26, 2019, 03:45:48 PM
We do not need the spammers to bump it everyday, we are already here and we always write here because we love this place and we really want everyone to know how much we do, without even sharing an affiliate link or anything.

It is a different deal in crypto because in crypto we are already a small family, there are only a few people that use crypto heavily like us in the whole world, now make it even smaller by saying people who gamble with crypto (or use free faucet, or use contests or use lottery and what not that freebitcoin has) and it becomes even smaller and then say only the people who use freebitcoin every single day without missing a beat, well that is even smaller.

So, maybe I am wrong, maybe I feel too overly attached and it makes no sense but I feel like we are a small group of friends or even a family that needs to stick up together against the spammers because freebitcoin is the thing that brought us together.
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $10k Before June, Possible? on: April 26, 2019, 11:26:18 AM
I don't think that it is possible to reach 10k before June.
We don't have any news about possible positive trends or an event about bitcoin that will boost the functionality of the chain until then.
Relying on trading trends only it will be a huge pump if this happen and I don't really see investors pushing the price almost 100% up inn such a short period of time.
Adoption rate Is going on gradually and there are so many factors increasing the growth of BTC that we may not really get in the news, we cannot see everything going around the world in the news, imagine that a particular government decides to silently invest in Bitcoin without the knowledge of its citizens since they are still against it.

Let us use the event of this month as example, majority of us are still looking for the fundamentals that contributed to the growth of the BTC from $4000 to $5000 and we are yet to still see it. So we may not really know what will contribute to the market that will shoot the price to $10k.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready for lots of negative articles on bitcoin on: April 26, 2019, 10:44:11 AM
Bitcoin already recieved a lot of FUDs and disinformations for the past several years and have been pronounced dead many times when its price many times last year. FUDs is usually created by someone who want to bring down the price of bitcoin or any cryptocurrency. Negative price predictions like bitcoin will be crashing few days is also considered FUDs because no one can really predict the future prices of bitcoin. We should also read carefully what we are reading and try to find the source of the report, article or blog.
Despite the FUD news, bitcoin is still surviving in the crypto sphere, but lately, I have seen that we have not gotten much FUD in the market that can really cause any dump, although people no longer respond much to FUD, and most of the people that have created the FUD in the past have already tarnished their image.

Majority of the negative things said about bitcoin did not come to pass, so they are probably ashamed of themselves now and I think there is nothing left of FUD news for people to believe. If eventually we see any again, we need to just read it and more research on it before it mislead us.
67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: which dice site is better ? on: April 25, 2019, 04:13:16 PM
I think decentralized ones have house edge because they still need to make money somehow or otherwise why would they create anything at all.

The difference is instead of your money held by some third party you are literally playing against a computer and no one is running it at all, instead of you paying the casino and casino paying you back or keeping it, this decentralized system allows the casino to either send the money back to the winner or if you lose send to the creators of the website but at no point any human holds it until the bet is decided which is the reason why decentralized are like so much since it is literally run by computers.

Look at eosbet for example, creators have "bet" token minted for themselves and others can get it so now the computer either pays the winners or if they lose gives out equally to all shareholders.
68  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: April 25, 2019, 03:29:32 PM
I can't believe I have never really asked this question before but I realized I don't know if you get BET tokens when you play with bitcoin, do you get bet tokens when you play with bitcoin? If so how is it calculated ? Like I know its 1:20 in eos but how is it on bitcoin ? Is it the same ?

Like you calculate how much a bitcoin worth and how much eos worth on exchange rates and give bet tokens accordingly to people who bet with bitcoin ? If that is the case than will it be the same for litecoin as well ? Will people who bet with litecoin will be capable of playing here will get some bet tokens as well ? If those are true than what exchange rate its calculated from? Is it a place we know like binance/preev or whatever or is it a third party plugin that calculates it?
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this another drama ? on: April 25, 2019, 11:58:30 AM
This guy always come in f with this his know Nd of news  I stopped following after he endorsed electroneum andveven some fake ICO ‘ s now these ico investors are suffering by believing him . I don’t believe this guys words.

I don't get you, are you saying electroneum is fake? Moreover all investors make profits from etn ICO because the ICO price was 0.01 and etn did make it to 0.2 last bull run so what are you talking about? Apart from the ICO gain electroneum stands out among other altcoins, they are delivering at best, no bullshit, another altcoins John promote is Apollo currency, these altcoins are good, do better research mister
You are claiming that electroneum stood out amongst all altcoins, from what angle are you judging from? Because the price grew from 0.01 to 0.02 means they are successful? You cannot qualify their success by the value, the product they are offering to the public is exactly what we are after, and I don’t see how they have met up in regards to this.

Most of the prices you are seeing are just being simply pumped by these images like Mcafee because of their own personal interest and not because their services or product spoke for them. Take these people out of these projects being promoted by them, and then they will end up being a shitcoins. See what is becoming of BSV now.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 alternative coins to invest now for 2020 on: April 25, 2019, 11:24:08 AM
my 5 alt coins for 2020 are Neo Tron Eos Eth and Binance Coin All these coins developments are bullish we may expect three times profits by early next year
I have the same taste about the altcoin and I love Binance coin besides ETH and tron. The reason behind opting for altcoin is not just their low cost of investment but the volatility and the probability of rise in their market value is something that is attractive. You can make 2x easily in these coins as we are having a good market right now and make the profits, exit and speculate in another one.

Moreover I am long term investor, and from holding Tron for years, I guess we may profit 10x or even 25x too. Yes, I guess by 2022 one tron may value 10k satoshi too.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON - worth investing? on: April 25, 2019, 10:53:31 AM
I believe in Tron and I think that he will succeed.  Yes, maybe now it does not show the desired results, but I think in the future they will still be.
TRON is a very good project, no doubt about that, although they have not really grown to expectation ever since they have been in this crypto race too. The best option was the bitcoin, but I think the second option was not the right one.

We have lots of other projects the OP would have choosing that is more better than TRON, you know when investing, one needs to consider the community too, despite the good concept they have, I don’t see TRON community has being that powerful to really push TRON to the future, so it is better that the OP choose from the Top 5 on the coinmarket, just like he has done with BTC.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Hits 400 Million Transactions on: April 25, 2019, 07:23:55 AM
What a milestone record for BTC and also BTC lover. Really its my pleasure that i joined with BTC and still connected with BTC. Hope BTC will break all records in transaction and one day all government will accept BTC when they see this records. Best of luck.

Bitcoin is really becoming more impressive and even to the governments, they know this and that is why they have not placed a legal band on it which I believe they will not do, because even the governments are silently benefiting from it.

I know a lot of institutions too have also seen the performance of BTC generally and seen that it is the most reliable now, we can easily even get to see it through so many news now reporting on BTC, like cnn and government listening to them. Once these large institutions can come in and their population increases, for sure, BTC will break all the records it has had so far.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: Top 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Falling Down on: April 25, 2019, 06:33:43 AM
Institutional money will be flowing in soon so that can be removed from the list. FUD is now turning to fomo, and the price is pumping now. Anyone not holding will be in regret later this year
I can see that reverse is now the case of many of the things OP listed, which means bitcoin is too strong of a coin to remain permanently under any negative influence, bitcoin always try to stay on a positive lane and the fact that it is witnessing some storms, doesn’t really mean that it will fall a victim of it.

Now that bitcoin is already getting out of this storm, I agree with you that many institutional investors will be planning to put in lots of money now, so we should expect some changes in the price of Bitcoin as soon as possible, and the best not to be part of FOMO investors in the future is to place a buy order now.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: What is p2p lending on: April 25, 2019, 05:34:23 AM
If you ask me I'd say that p2p is no better option because you're still going to give an asset that is worth the same amount of cash that you're borrowing from the platform. You're giving your asset because you don't want to sell it and you think that the price of the asset is going to increase, so you want to keep it locked in p2p lending and borrow cash and get back your assets when you return the cash you have borrowed with the interests.

I don't really fancy that, cause I'm not even sure of the assets, cryptocurrency is something volatile and you don't really know where it's heading to.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 alternative coins to invest now for 2020 on: April 25, 2019, 04:53:20 AM
I already have enough bitcoin but I want to expend my asset holdings into Altcoin. Now I'm a newbie and have no experience but that doesn't mean i will jump right into buying your suggested coins. I will do more research but I need guidance on the coins to look into that's why I started this thread. I'm interested in privacy, gambling and currency coins

I'll be spending more time on the alternative board now, hope I'm welcome.
I am glad that you understand the best way to get a very good project is to first of all do your own research, you need to understand what the project is all about and also have a strategy to discern the team.

To save yourself the stress, first I will advise you look into altcoins that are at the top 10, majority of these coins has already bottomed and I think you can invest now, although the top 20 too are not guarantee that they will last for a long time, but for the main tim, they are still on top of their game.

If you are to pick from the top 10, then my first choice would be Binance, it is best if you invest in Binance, although you can still wait abit, because their price has gotten to the peak and they have not bottomed yet.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's next after "When Binance"? on: April 24, 2019, 09:15:01 PM
That's because believes that being listed on a big exchange makes their token worth it. People don't like tokens that are listed on poor exchanges, they think it is just a waste of time for them and it wouldn't be worth and won't give them what they want, which is profit.

Everyone wants the price of their tokens to increase so they can profit from it, and just like you have said, when they make that profit they will all dump their tokens and go for another. I think this is normal, even you would like to see a token you're holding to be listed on a big exchange, but the main question is what's next? Do you just dump it or continue with it ?
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or ETH, what good to own now?? on: April 24, 2019, 08:39:43 PM
If you have enough money to buy the both of them then I will say it is best for you to buy the both of them, cause they are both good choices and are among the top coins in the market. Though ETH seem like a very good choice, why I'm saying is because it has a lot of support from Microsoft, Intel, JP Morgan, and more of them. And it has a bigger market cap and is the second best altcoin in the cryptocurrency market.

Although, it doesn't mean that you will make profit from it when you invest in it, it is likely that much profit might come from Litecoin. You never can' tell what is next. You think this to be the best and the next thing you know another one is trending already.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Amazon accept crypto if Bitcoin skyrocket again? on: April 24, 2019, 08:08:22 PM
I saw one thread in the Bitcoin Discussion about Amazon accepting crypto-->https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5135039.0. It's not a direct bitcoin payment though. You have to used a browser extension before you can used it to buy Amazon stuffs.
This is just, a third party application and not direct involvement by Amazon, there will be so much limitations in it and cannot be compared to when Amazon fully adopt it themselves and integrate the payment system into their platform.

A lot of them are already getting the light of it though, but I guess they are just not convince about when the right time to implement it, I read sometimes this week or last week, where a forum user posted about one of the paypal team speculating the price of BTC and paypal is still yet to adopt it, so they all know and probably waiting for the best time. Adoption of BTC by these big players will really go a long way for us in this field.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: KYC for penny money? on: April 24, 2019, 06:46:44 PM
I have only verified my ID on Binance, since I 'trust' them. I pay my taxes so I have nothing to hide.
No one is having issue with People like Binance, we all know Binance to be a reputable exchange and once can still trust our personal details with them 80%, it is not about you now having anything to hide or not.

Many people too in this forum that are not happy with KYC have nothing to absolutely hide, but the third parties with the details are the problem.

In this age where we have scam issue coming up daily, we even have project coming up and putting people’s details up in their whitepaper that is different from theirs to scam, how one can be safe from such a thing happening to us, because with our vital details, scammers can manipulate things.
80  Economy / Economics / Re: How adoption will happen on: April 23, 2019, 10:45:25 AM
It's not going to happen anytime soon, the SEC won't pass it anyway. But don't worry, adoption is almost here, I myself do almost over 50 percent of my spending in crypto each month, so I assume as soon more business will accept crypto, the adoption will happen in a maximum growth rate.
SEC already know that they have no authority over cryptocurrency, and whether they pass it or not, people will continue to use cryptocurrency for one or two of their transactions, just like you and myself.

I receive some payments through crypto, I send some and some of my received money are stored in my crypto wallet and not bank, although I only store my money in only Bitcoin wallet because I cannot trust any other wallet out there with my work income and very soon, once many companies adopt cryptocurrency, they might start paying their staff too in crypto, making everyone belong to this community and Sec will have no choice than to surrender.
