I can't get any connections for my SQL wallet, even after using all of the nodes on http://www.squallcoin.com/?page_id=50 as addnodes. Does anyone else have any luck with connections for this coin? Please open port 32492 (on your firewall/router) for more and faster connections to the SQL network. Think project is death :-( website is offline... please read what I said before you spread fud, I am currently having a lot of issues all at the same time, I will sort them out, I am also working on making things much better, much more exposure/support. I am currently hiring a coin dev to help me along with a project dev to make some sort of a relaunch, not sure what to do yet but please watch this space. thanks for everyone supporting me, I have received lots of continued help and encouragement :-) |

You can look for someone in phpbb forum itself. they do have marketplace there. PHPbb somehow isn't so customizable. My suggestion is mybb, its much easy and there are lots of plugins to it that you can installe. I do own a forum years ago, I somehow earn good from it through ads bu something happen and sold it.
thanks for letting me know, problem is the phpbb forum don't like bitcoins lol, its why I am asking here, I am looking for this because I started this forum years ago and you cant move the user database from one setup to another, or I would have done this in a shot, I am realizing now how bad addons and custom work does not work well on phpbb :-/ tho as I am unpopular I am also considering building a new site, start anew, but I would need some help :-o Why not just import your database to mybb. It wil work as I have done it before. Try asking the users in mybb forum, there are things you can tweak to make it work. The phpbb database can be imported on mybb. You should be able to do that with their help. The mybb forum is always busy the users are approachable too. I did not know that, thanks so much for sharing, I will look into it, thanks again. thread closed for now whilst I look into this. if anyone knows mybb and knows how to do this, please message me. |

for those who are not aware I have had bad experiences with my hosting, like really bad, so I might have lost the site for good, I am not sure what to do with this project, people keep leaving me and I am getting down with it.
my site was basic wordpress that was not received well, so every cloud has a silver lining, I can rebuild a nicer looking site.
the master nodes for some reason are offline, and I cant get in touch with the person hosting them so I have stopped paying him, so I am looking for more master nodes.
I still have batch 3 squall coins in the fire so I don't want to leave this project ever.
just keeping you all in the loop, sorry if I sound a bit negative right now but its how I feel.
the only way is up from here lol

moving from namecheap, they shut me down and suspended my account after years of service with no warning, and it was their fault in the first place as they set up my sqli in the first place that is leaving connections open, too many departments that don't talk to each other, I am fuming at them.
/rant off
so I might take this time to rebuild a new looking forum, it was never popular and bots got past me plenty, phpbb3 was bad for implementing anti spambot and would not work with reCAPTCHA 2.0
the only downside is I cant recover the user database if I change.
so if anyone actually cares I shall rebuild a new site from scratch, if you do care let me know and I will find someone good at pulling user databases out of a .tar.gz.
