Is it a good time to be buying Clams, any opinions on the matter?  Absolutely. We are in a manufactured shakeout right now - the buy walls came down to allow the coin to reach a 'worst case' price floor - when they go back up expect 500K very quickly. |

OK.Someone dumped(really dumped @816-768sat) 30000 the last 3 hours.I know:It's BTC price going up(again) + crowdfunding investors can still dump with x4 profit.
Devs should do whatever they decide with the pools,but they should take under consideration that people will dump long before the 300 coins rewards especially if the price will hopefully be higher than 2k.If people are not satisfied with the profit from the pools,or from solo staking,we should expect greater dumps even before 200 coins/stake.
So,devs must find a way to lock as many coins as possible in the pools untill the end of the big stake rewards.
Daytrading is far more profitable than staking ATM,and will continue like this.Especially if the coin is added to Poloniex.With the rhythm weak hands are dumping everytime BTC's price goes up (and imho it will keep rising as we get closer to reward halving) another exchange will just be another choice for experienced daytraders to make easy profit just by trading between sites.And why shouldn't they?

The coin keeps getting dumped to hell because far more coins than I first anticipated appear to have been bought and still held from the original ICO pricing. I'm in this for the long haul but boy oh boy its gonna be tough passing 2000 sat again yet alone holding 1000 sat with the number of people keen to dump for seemingly anything they can get. |

After giving it some thought a new pool with a reduced fee would shortchange those who bought into the first one - unless it was only started up after the first one ceased operating - then it would be fair to all. I would go for a new pool beginning after the old one has run its course, with a 5 Million Steps limit and a 10 STEPS admin fee per share.
We know there are some here holding in excess of 2 Million coins so it wouldn't be so hard as it might seem to get 5 Million STEPS staking in the pool.

i reckon hes prob had them all along split into multiple addresses since the ICO , why move it all into 1 account now?? who knows? ego? I agree. I noticed many 'interesting' things when analyzing the top 100 and the transactions in and out. There's at least one person who holds 2 Mill, probably more. I guess they don't want people to know as it might scare them away from buying - personally I think its better to have coins in the hands of the strong rather than 10 or 20 weakhands looking for a quick flip. |

Where did he get all these coins? Most likely on Yobit, there was a big increase in volume yesterday. It seems bigger players start to take notice of Steps. hes got even more saw him moving looked like over 2 million coins earlier today I don't particularly understand how he can obtain that many on the exchange all of a sudden when there has been under 150K on there for weeks and didn't buy the book to 3000 sat to get them either. Probably some big inside deals going on between the whales which is fine - its their STEPS and their BTC at the end of the day. Remembering that the big boys are the ones that make the rest of us money via the generation of waves is also important. |

I would like to officially thank Altcoinsteps and Andre for their purely outstanding work on this coin so far. I have been around a long time, I've been involved in more alt coin communities than I care to remember but this is the first one I can honestly say I have no desire to sell. I said it before and I'll say it again, it's worth a LOT more than a measly 1000 satoshi. The only reason it is so embaassingly low is because if we are honest none of the big fish use Yobit - its all about Polo these days. Once it gets listed there, and it WILL get listed there, you will see 5000 sat very quickly. I am also proud to say that I have made around 4 BTC on paper with CLAM so far and I will be using profits (after exiting at the proper time of course) to buy and hold up STEPS from time to time. I'm a daytrader, but if things ever get messy on the exchanges, and i'm able to pull out some BTC to secure my STEPS investment, I will do so. Keep up the great work! P.S. The volume is looking great - remember that Polo will be more likely to add STEPS if there's something in it for them e.g. trade commission |

Finally i got bit time to breathe and we might have another Whale from POLO purchase STEPS been raving about it on polo trollbox hehe..I will try enter the contests as well..My Hubby is more tech than me so he will help me make an image..I wanna join the contest for fun! .. I want to buy some shares too I really need to know how to do this..I will look at instruction in the afternoon once I finish my chores.. The pool has sold out sadly! |

I have no pity for your situation, I couldn't possibly care less where you come from and how rich or poor you may be. So since you've been dealt a bad hand by life, you see it fit to advance yourself at the expense of others? Because that's what pumping/dumping is, and there is a reason why it's outlawed in the US and probably most other jurisdictions as it pertains to publicly traded securities. Great to see the price comfortably above 200K - looking forward to waking up tomorrow to see my CLAMs over 250!
I previously called for 200k-300k. I think this rise from 100k was almost inevitable as long as their wasn't an attack on the network. From here, I'm less confident about immediate upside. Of course we can go to 300k which is a nice 50% upside from 200k, but we could also stall at 200k for a while or dip down below it. From a short- to mid-term speculation perspective I don't see CLAMs as a huge buy any more. I disagree. I see the large buys up the order book as a sign there's several big players who intend on taking it far higher. Some of these guys are buying tens of thousands of USD worth of clams - you don't do that without having the means to pump it much higher. |

I buy more clams every 8 hours so long as the Just-Dice investment ticker keeps increasing, its gone up around 60,000 CLAMS in 3 days which is a decent amount in this low volume period.
I think most of that can be explained by Poloniex having daily withdrawal limits. A people bought a lot of CLAMs from curious a few days ago but weren't able to withdraw them all at once. Ah that makes sense - thanks for clarifying! |

Seriously though, the trolling has become particularly obvious these days - at least try and sound genuine in your bullshit spreading. i dont get the reasoning for this fud spreading, if you look at his history he bought into the ICO & was supportive for a few weeks. I guess now he sold his coins he cant bear to see STEPS do well, pretty pathetic really!!! Most likely the guy who dumped 50K yesterday - funny that. |

I added my coin creation services for steps. Not sure how to communicate with a buyer though. What happens if someone buys my service?
Yes I know some people don't like these kind of services, but its a free world. If the developers don't like it, feel free to remove it.
This is perfect - don't remove it, its a hotly desired skill set - many of us have great ideas without the knowledge to code them into reality, you will do well from this! |
