You need to read and remember bitcoin has 21,000,000,000 BTC as total supply. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/
Correction. You mean 18,547,618 BTC total/circulating supply and 21,000,000 max supply?

Anyways, big players will intentionally make their stash moving to another wallet maybe because they are planning for something big. Those huge numbers not literally move unless the big fish we are talking about is hodling it long term or it could also be that it is just moving it to a much safer wallet maybe a cold storage.

Pretty much, yes. The reason why bitcoin prices increase significantly in a relatively short time, because of the huge influx of money like those buying bitcoin and move it to multiply addresses for security reasons. in this case, they surely aiming for the long term for a higher price target to sell it. Whether it is institutional investors, consultants, companies, or personal investors, but one thing to note that none of those addresses are linked to any company from the cryptocurrency industry.
There are a lot of whales moving their bitcoin recently, including this BTC60,000 into two addresses.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China’s Miners Struggle to Pay Power Bills, Regulators Clamp Down on OTC Desks on: November 18, 2020, 06:45:55 PM
moves like this have always made things a lot easier and much more profitable for foreign investors. basically anyone who lives outside of their jurisdiction makes the investment to buy ASICs to mine bitcoin inside the jurisdiction with the cheap electricity but they are receiving the coins abroad and sell it abroad and only pay the bills while pocketing the profit.

Ahh of course, this should works. While moving all the ASICs to outside the country will cost a lot, it will be better for them to cooperate with foreign investors or buyers if they can't sell bitcoin through otc desks. There will always a way to move the funds from outside to this country, right?
If this can't solve the problem, china's miners have no other choice but to move the operation site, just like the exchanges did.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Congrats to everyone for reaching $20k again. on: November 18, 2020, 03:31:45 PM
As this run is not driven by retail investors I think there won't be as brutal of a shakeout. As long as demand from big investors remain big, the small fish that get scared will hardly dent the buying pressure.

Some corrections will be inevitable, but currently the inflow of cash is just so big that it may not be as panicky as we have seen in the past.

They have to play smart in order to gain the best, highest profits as much as possible, if they are buying it for the long-term when the time comes, bitcoin price may crash up to 50%. Bitcoin has been entering a new bull-run mode, very likely to hit a new all-time high, probably $30k or $50k in mid-2021. Nevertheless, a good point to hold bitcoin as long as possible, give the time for institutional investors to invest huge money into bitcoin and be ready to cash out before the main correction occurs.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2017 - 2020. Better price not yet to come. Be careful on: November 18, 2020, 01:35:53 PM
$18,5k probably the highest price for now, it should be decided today whether bitcoin will face a big rejection today or hold it's position above $17,8k. If Bitcoin would close above 18k today, then we can expect it to reach $19k in the next few days. Bitcoin still has a good chance to break the ath at $20k by the end of this month.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof - The long Hodl on: November 18, 2020, 10:52:35 AM
Long HODL won't make an assurance that you will gain profit out of it and sometimes you may miss some good opportunities to earn. We have different experience about it but for me I find it not good.

What do you mean? Hold bitcoin for the long term is obviously profits, even for those who bought at the last ATH could be profitable if they are patiently waiting for 3 years from 2017 to 2021. Moreover for those who bought bitcoin at $3-$4k when it plummets to the lower level after hit the ATH.
The only problem for a long-term holder is fiat currency to cover all the expenses, if someone has no other choice but to sell bitcoin, so be it.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPals Bitcoin is a scam on: November 18, 2020, 07:07:28 AM
it's still too early to say they are a scam, everything needs a process and you don't have to say it's a scam, let's see how it works slowly going forward, I also hope to be able to buy and sell crypto on paypal in the future, so that will make it easier for me to do transactions using money from paypal, to be honest your video does not show anything scam in my opinion

A scam is an indiscriminate accusation without any strong argument. PayPal is just starting to adopt crypto as one of a payment method scheduled for 2021 through the Venmo app, they certainly don't want to miss this astounding payment technology. Although PayPal disables withdrawal bitcoin for now, the terms stated 'currently' which could mean they may consider plans to expand the functionality, a better way to do it without having to go through all the hassle, hence PayPal wants to acquire crypto-companies to handle it.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after 3rd Halving prediction on: November 18, 2020, 12:00:01 AM
One year after halving, bitcoin always hit a new all-time high, the history may repeat again in the next year. However, $387k seems too much pump from this point, even there are many predictions regarding bitcoin could reach $100k at the end of 2021 still too far away and uncertain at this stance. If bitcoin manages to break $20k by the end of this month and reach $30k by the end of December, the next target is $50k-100k in 2021.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 17, 2020, 07:04:04 PM
Well, one who wants to scam you is not going to expose the real identity and its been a stereotype that Nigeria has been linked with scams at most. But if someone trying to scam you from Nigeria is not going to tell that they are from Nigeria, they are going to give some pictures and even Identify of English men to deceive you.

Yeah, it's happening all the time, they always impersonate a handsome man from the UK. However, the point here is a scammer of Inksnation and Pinkoin blockchain projects, that the person responsible is a native of Lagos-State, Nigeria. It has become widely known that many scammers come from this country, even they form international syndicates to break into the bank system, atm or credit card, etc. a reminder to be careful of projects originate from this country, it is better to check carefully before investing in a project that promises large returns without adequate fundamentals.
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think it will be a good moment to sell some of my bitcoin? on: November 17, 2020, 05:36:57 PM
$20k is the biggest target for most traders right now, because everyone has the same strategy to sell at the $20k mark, hence some traders will put a big wall to sell at ~$19,8k. or a number close to that before the correction between 20% - 30% occurred. So, if you worry bitcoin can't make to $20k, sell a portion at ~$19,5k-$19,9k.
But I believe bitcoin is capable to surpass $20k by the end of November and reach $25k at the end of December, preferably to aim for $22k if something going wrong. Always check the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Bitcoin Fear & Greed Index before decide to sell your coins.
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin penetrates into $17 000 on: November 17, 2020, 04:05:00 PM
Damn  Angry bitcoin is unstopable. Should I buy more bitcoin or not?

400 bitcoin can be broken in a few hours with the current force. The bull run is stronger than i think. Gonna stack more alts for bettter profit. I am not sure whether there will be a correction or not. Buying alts is better option for this case. Many potential alts do not have much activity at the moment but the volume continues to rise

Investing in altcoins is riskier because the percentage increase in price is not proportional to the decline later when bitcoin experiences a correction and falls to a lower support level. I have watched the development of some altcoins and their increase in price is quite tempting to buy, but buying altcoins when bitcoin prices are high is quite risky, some altcoins such as Litecoin and ETH showing a good rate, if you are convinced, then buy it but be prepared for the worst case scenario that might happen.
If bitcoin continue to break $18k without take a deeper dip below $15k, it's worth to try.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Role of Bitcoin in Developing counties to accelerate Growth process on: November 17, 2020, 03:03:15 PM
but it is a pity that some developing countries still do not fully accept bitcoin. This relates to the issue of regulation given by developing country governments. For example, in Indonesia, Bitcoin is legal and allowed only as a commodity trading and is not allowed to be a legal means of payment for several reasons about its high volatile risk.

Considering the high risk and volatility, hence some governments don't allow bitcoin being used as means of payment but only as a commodity, yet people still use it to transact under the radar, it's not a big deal anyway due to pseudonymous. It's a good thing that the government didn't entirely ban bitcoin and exchanges like what happened in China, as long as people can trade bitcoin, the community will continue to grow towards more adoption.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 17, 2020, 02:31:22 PM
We need that vaccine now because we are afraid to go out with out vaccine our economy is shutting down we need that for bringing our country back to normal si we can pull back our economy
You can go out whenever you want as long as you will follow the protocol wear your mask and other stuff for you to not get the virus nor get others to sick, Economy will never shutting down why? Because every country can re-open again and go back into their business, Which required to have swab testing if you want to visit some places like tourist spot, I feel sorry for our situation right now but everything will be back to normal once vaccine is already done.

BioNTech's chief executive officer predicts the impact of the Covid-19 vaccine will begin to be significant in the summer of 2021 (June-September) and life will return to normal in the coming winter within December 2021-March 2022. Meanwhile, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus from The World Health Organization says that a vaccine will not be enough to stop the corona virus pandemic. Following similar announcements from the companies Pfizer and BioNTech that claim their vaccine is more than 90% effective, Moderna Inc announced that its vaccine was 94% effective in preventing Covid-19.
The Covid-19 vaccine is just one medium to control the spread of the virus and it takes time to completely stop the spread. We can expect the world economy will begin to recover by the end of 2021 and begin to normalize in 2022.

73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: November 16, 2020, 11:51:31 PM
It's inevitable as Bitcoin is a speculative asset, people tend to follow the trend on the market, whenever it rises, fomo and greed will take over the emotion and suggest to buy at high, that's what causes bitcoin price to increase over time. We can't blame it, $16,5k isn't the all-time high for bitcoin, the potential of bitcoin isn't limited to the current price, people would love going after $20k before catching the profits in the end. Even there are many predictions regarding bitcoin could reach $100k in 2021, anyone who had the guts to buy now and waited a year, should appreciate his decision.
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: sold mine at 14100 dammitttt on: November 16, 2020, 03:49:11 PM
Sold your coins for a profit or not?

If you sold it for a profit, you did a great job, don't be too greedy, you can't see the future but selling at a profit is a good job already.
Of course you might think now that you could have hold for a bigger price now that bitcoin already hit $16,000, but that's it man, sometimes you need to accept and don't even think of buying now as you might caught up on a possible big dump that could happen.

Human nature is wanting the best i.e. greedy, want the profit as much as possible, even if sold at $14k was a profit but still causes regret.
Even buying at higher prices such as $15k will raise doubts as to whether it will profit even more later or end up in vain.
Fortunately, bitcoin movement is easily to predicted, we know the capability of bitcoin to reach over $20k sooner or later, better to hold it until hit the peak of new ath.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USA government power over Bitcoin on: November 13, 2020, 06:04:44 PM
Why the USA acting like some world police?
Can the rest of the world Can't decide whats good for them and whats not?

Because the USA have such power to do so, and there is international agreements in the field of law and treaties on defense, security, politics, and law enforcement cooperation.
That's why they can act as the world police by forcing the law under international aggrements, but they cannot be arbitrary towards a citizen of another country though.

So Let's say they want more Control over BTC...
They cant touch the BTC its just computer based Virtual thing right?
They Can only be involved in fiat Exchangers...

They can't control bitcoin, not in any way as decentralized system make sure it won't happen, but they can regulate bitcoin through policies, the same as today.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Company Now Lets Travelers Pay for Passports With Bitcoin on: November 13, 2020, 01:43:54 PM
There are several crypto-firms such as BitGo and Coinbase that provide this kind of service as an intermediary between companies/merchants/service providers that want to accept bitcoin payment without have to deal with the hassle of convert bitcoin into fiat currency. Any company or merchant can add bitcoin payment as an option, since bitcoin become more famous and attract many people. This is why the government should let crypto-firms and companies to adopt bitcoin as an alternative payment method, besides there are a lot of them out there.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: November 13, 2020, 10:57:09 AM
Also some pain of bounty hunters:
Seeing their rewards but not receiving it on time.
Seeing the price drop down and couldn't take their profit because they still doesn't receive their reward.
Holding some useless rewards because the project didn't continue.

Really pain in the heart, but it happen a lot with thousands of useless or discontinuous projects.
The first thing that bounty hunter need to do is research whether the project is legit and may have a good application/utility.
Second thing, although the project is legit, it doesn't guarantee what will happen with the project development in the future.
Many bounty hunters don't receive coins at the right time and turns out it just a shit coin, not worth the effort and time they have put in.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden and Cryoto on: November 13, 2020, 07:43:42 AM
From my perspective, whoever will be the president in the US between Trump and Biden, the crypto market will stay the same because both of them didn't make any stance during their presidential campaign. But I think bitcoin's will continue its momentum on raising its price because whales continuously influence bitcoin's price during the US election day.

But after Biden elected as the next president, the market movement in a somewhat positive way to this point, although they won't affect the crypto market significantly.
Bitcoin users, traders, and investors in the US are one of the biggest compared to other countries, so as long as the authorities do nothing about the current market situation, crypto will grow like the way it is now, and bitcoin still has a big chance to be better electronic cash in terms of utility and value.
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good time to buy Bitcoin ? on: November 13, 2020, 05:39:21 AM
Hello guys do you think now is a good time to buy bitcoin for trading in cryptocurrencies not for holding it
because the current price looks too high for me (13500$) but im affraid that if i wait it will go more higher to 16k-20k
do you think BTC can fall again at least to 9000$-10000$ or that's not gonna happen and i need to buy it at this price ?

And now it has reached 16k $, the possibility of a correction first, Bitcoin is currently in its resistance, if it breaks above so, the 20k $ possibility is real.
Bitcoin broke $165k and moving forward, it's inevitable correction simply close to occur. I'd be glad to blow past 20k USD but for now I’m waiting for a major correction. Smells like precisely 2017 again so prepared and calmly waiting.

Bitcoin just testing the new resistance level, but $16K isn't strong support yet, it can retrace back to $15,500 but not underneath $15K.
The best price probably around $16,6-$16,8K before a correction occurs, so the best time to buy for Op has passed since he mentioned the price was $13,500 then two days later it spike up to $15,900 and there is no sign it will fall below $14K levels anytime soon.
80  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just in - Bitcoin at $15 000 on: November 12, 2020, 08:18:16 PM
^I agree that it is definitely steady, but not parabolic, it is more like it is going up in a stable fashion and not in a skyrocket fashion. Normally I have seen crypto make faster moves inside a week and even though I agree that price has gone up over 50% in month or so, it also didn't do it in a week very quickly.

Just to give you an example, this is the same coin that crashed as low as 3.6k or 3.8k levels during march because of pandemic from all the way 9k and it went back up to over 5k over night as well. I know that was just one example but in one night in span of 8 hours we moved from 9k to 3.8k to 5k, which is parabolic if you ask me. Bitcoin "can" do that even though it is rare. This is not like that, it is a steady decent increase over long period of time.

Bitcoin did a high leap within days, for example, bitcoin rise from $13,500 to $15,900 in just two days. in early September bitcoin price drop from $12K to $10K but then starts to climb up in early October back to $12K, surpass $13K and reach the peak at $14K. in the early days of November, bitcoin doing sideways on support level at $13,500 but right now manage to reach $16K after the high leap. However, I agree that bitcoin price increase is quite stable with some corrections and sideways to this point. But it may be just the beginning before taking another high leap within a few days.
