63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can't Do Anything While Mining on: June 05, 2011, 02:49:04 PM
you can't watch youtube while you mine, unless you disable hardware acceleration. Also, if you're doing extreme overclocking, watching any types of video will cause the miner to crash, so lower your clocks while you watch a video.

But, they also usually don't allow voltage adjustment.

With Trixx you can adjust the voltage....

How do you select a specific card on Trixx, if you have multiple cards installed on 1 MOBO?
you can't. that's one of its limitations

There are lots of ways to advertise 'cash' transfers through eBay... Example:

71  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Another Dropbox referral for 1 BTC (5 slots available) on: March 14, 2011, 07:24:00 PM
can i do this twice with a different email, ip, and computer?

I should think so (but I don't know the exact algorithm Dropbox uses), but that counteracts the way the Dropbox app is working.  If you have two [or more] separate accounts on each their machine, you won't be able to use Dropbox to share files between those machines.

Cheers,
i meant if i did it again, but with a different email, ip and computer, would i get paid?

this is weird, i seem to have gotten a block. beginners luck i guess  Undecided

i noticed there needs to be more confirmations. Is there any way to speed this up? also, do i have to leave my computer on to get confirmations?
75  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mechanics of mining? on: March 08, 2011, 03:03:55 AM
thanks guys, for all the information you've given me.

but i still got a few questions. what do i do when i found a block?
76  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mechanics of mining? on: March 08, 2011, 02:08:50 AM
if im currently mining, and another person got a block, does that "reset" my work?
77  Bitcoin / Mining / Mechanics of mining? on: March 08, 2011, 01:38:25 AM
How exactly does mining work? is it like playing a lottery? where each hash you compute is a "ticket"? or is it like working, where you get money after a certain amount of work is done?
