61  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 40 BTC, returning 52 BTC on: June 18, 2012, 02:57:37 PM
Quite a low chance of that happening with blotters hidden in CD case.

Its still a huge risk for the lender, lender could face jailtime if caught financing drug smuggling.
Hahaha, thats true, wouldn't want to be investing my money into the purchasing of drugs :p

This wouldn't work solely because as their become less bitcoins on the market, the value of a single bitcoin will increase. The whole thing would just balance its self out and life would go on. Basically a reverse Zimbabwe Cheesy

66  Economy / Economics / Re: Dummies guide to what went wrong in Europe on: June 18, 2012, 02:25:51 PM
Besides fiat-debt-based-currency, there is a simple explanation for the mess.

One currency, one central bank, but multiple countries with their own fiscal policies and debt issuance. In essence, the country that borrows the most, takes the most advantage of the system (until it breaks......).

Perfectly described by Philipp Bagus in his little book ( http://mises.org/books/bagus_tragedy_of_euro.pdf ) and forewarned by Friedman ( http://super-economy.blogspot.nl/2011/11/again-with-krugman.html ).
In a nutshell, bravo

I hate it when companies just fog you off by saying "we're dealing with it", that means nothing to the customer. I hope this works out as thats scary, but sometimes wired can take a couple weeks :s

Go for the XFX, you only have 1 card being powered so 550W will be plenty. You dont need 650-1000 until you start running 4+ cards on your system.
