Are there any recommendations for coin stack sizes to optimize stakes? Recommended stack size or just let it keep splittling the blocks down with every stake ?

Is there a splitblock feature, similar to what HyperStake has (split 1 block into X amount of blocks) ?

It sucks if you have to split up a bunch of coins (1 milion or so ) into 10k coin blocks one at a time.

This will be implemented in a future release.

Good, its a pain splitting this up Undecided

Just to throw a heads up about a new Asset that I released the other day thstake.

The announcement thread on the official burst forums can be found here:

https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/780/new-thstake-asset

Here is the original post about the asset:

I would like to announce the creation of a new asset within the burst universe based on staking coins. The asset is similar to the one provided by the burst team, however with mostly different coins contained within it.

Asset ID: 18176646582737130927
Burstcoin Wallet ID: BURST-Q94J-49K3-RTGF-CJSYR
Total Number of Assets: 1,000,000 (One Million)

Initial Cost per asset: 15 burst coins Estimated value is 6.6 bitcoin in total value.

Coins to be staked (starting out) are as follows:

Bitbeans (bitb): current value in btc: 0.00000008
Hyperstake (hyp): current value in btc: 0.00000045
Hyper (Hyper): current value in btc: 0.00002062
Diamond (DMD): current value in btc: 0.00046800
OKCash (OK): current value in btc: 0.00000566
NetCoin(NET): current value in btc: 0.00000032

Current wallet addresses can be viewed at the provided link(s) below:

Dividend Amount: 80% of stakes over the course of 1 month. Payment should be on or around the first Monday of each month.
Retained stake amount: 15% of stakes over the course of 1 month
Maintenance fee: 5% Fee is used to purchase shares back from the general public, once all initial offered shares are sold, at current market values.

Information gathered from the following thread was used in the creation of this asset:

https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/732/thinking-of-starting-another-staking-asset

I am planning on trying to do a dividend for July, however if asset sales are low, it may not be possible due to low volume. If that is the case, the first dividend should be available September 5, 2016 (first monday of the month) for stakes earned from initial launch through the month of August.

FYI, as stated in the previous thread, I have added a starting amount of 3.4x Million Bitbeans to the staking potential of the asset. I reserve the right to remove that amount of coins in the future for other investments as I see fit. ALL OTHER COINS CURRENT AND FUTURE ARE PROPERTY OF THE ASSET AND NO SINGLE PERSON OR INVESTOR.

Also, any funds or tips that are sent to the burst wallet of the asset, will be used to purchase more coins for the asset.

If anyone has an questions or concerns please let me know. Thanks for the interest in this guys! Lets all do our part and help make all of these coins, as well as Burst (obviously) more wanted, and more secure!

Thanks for the reply, ill be letting all my beans auto split for the most part now, I had been recombining them into 100k chunks to try to optimize sprouts. Ill probably go a lot lower now.

As far as that pool goes, I did deposit 100k into it, and after the initial 6 hours, ive been getting stakes there, and have gotten over 100 bitbeans in stakes since then. I am currently getting 3.928 beans per stake. It says there is a total of 34 users as well if that helps anyone.

Hello guys,

Fairly new to bitbeans, I love the idea of PoS so I bought up some beans.

What is a ballpark number for the size of blocks to get sprouts?

Also what is the bitbeanpool about? Is this like a mining pool only for sprouts ?

Thanks!

75  Economy / Digital goods / [sell] C.A.T. Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader License (Poloniex and Bittrex) on: June 06, 2016, 03:54:41 PM
Hello everyone,

I am looking to sell my version of C.A.T. I purchased the license(s) for 0.6 BTC and the best price I can give is 0.5 BTC. If you are interested please let me know. The software actually works great, however, I am getting out of trading, and will no longer have a need for it.

As stated in the topic, the license includes both Poloniex and Bittrex licenses.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks for the reply.

The 25k coins is currently all that I have invested atm. I do plan on adding more in the future, as I gain more bitcoin etc. I will probably be looking at adding an additional 25k or so coins every 2 weeks. I was originally going to split all my blocks into 5k sized blocks, however, it sounds like they get staked more frequently at a larger size even though the reward is the same. I am leaving wallet open 24/7 with the exception of the occasional reboot, I would assume that gives me a better chance of being staked? My next deposit I may look into doing a 12k and a 13k block. Also once my smaller 5k blocks stake maybe combine some of them to 10 or 12k each.
There is a max amount of blocks that can be found each day, so letting your wallet run 24/7 is a must.
Richt now I am staking stacks of 10K, might increase it a bit later this year.

How quickly do you stake with 10k blocks ?

I am asking blindly because my first set of blocks aren't even mature for another 2 days. Im pretty new. I started out at 5k blocks.

I am brand new to hyp (just bout 25k) and have a few questions.

1) what is weight and how does it work?

A simplified answer can be:

weight = block size * block age

stake = block hash bits < target bits * weight

The difficulty is the inverse of the target bits. I.e., the bigger the weight, the more chances to stake.

2) How big should I set my block sizes to in hopes of getting stakes ?

Big enough to stake in a reasonable time. I would leave your block of 25k as it is or split it into two parts.

3) Do you get staked faster the larger block size you have?

Yes. See above.

4) I had read that around 5k per block was good however might not be so now.

It is still good, but it depends on how much time you are ready to wait and how many coins you have. If you had a big number of 5k blocks, then some of them could stake faster comparing to the average time of staking this block size, thus making you wait less till your first stakes. And, of course, the effective APR is bigger with the smaller block sizes.

Thank you in advance for any answers you can provide.

You are welcome. Be sure to read the FAQ, it can also give you some answers.

Thanks for the reply.
