61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: April 13, 2016, 02:08:56 PM
I think the Ethereum mining is still profitable. But the it becomes less profitable due to the drop of price.

difficulty is sky high, you will get less coin than before and ultimately not that much profitable, yet most profitable now
yeah the mining profit has dropped like crazy in the last 3 weeks, dificulty should readjust soon with the price fall.

Dont think so. Will keep rising since its still very profitable

The difficulty will rise again until the high electricity cost miners drop out of the business. So it will double.

If the price keeps on dropping and the price is also not recovering, for most miners, it will not be profitable.
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falling under 300 again on: April 13, 2016, 02:04:56 PM
I don't think that the bitcoin price will crash so much like $300, maybe it will happen once or twice until the halving is reached but it would be for short time, I'm expecting a higher rate like $600.

Who knows...Price is volatile enough that when someone with large capital do a buy or sell, price movement is seen..Though by now the chance of going to below $300 is still very small...But it's true that after the halving, there might be a price drop might be minimal also..

Both the sides have huge walls that need to be broken in order for this price to happen, and even $600...
For the buy side, you need huge cash as well as for the sell side, you will need a lot of BTC for that to happen, and according to me, whales are smart enough to know they must not take such steps whilst they are still making lots and lots of money even with the stable markets...

The whales are making a lot of money at the moment. They sell at $430 and buy at $410. That is easy money for them.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin of 2016? on: April 13, 2016, 02:03:31 PM
Decred (DCR) . Its hybrid PoW - PoS . With promising ,experienced and active dev team.
After BTC reward halving decred will be great to mine .

Do you mean the bitcoin miner will convert to Decred miner? I think they have to sell their ASIC and buy the GPU.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is hyping about bitcoin price in 2016 on: April 13, 2016, 02:02:26 PM
This concerns me about what will happen to bitcoin price after 2016 ? Will it crash after the block halving ? Is there any upcoming incident in 2017-18 that may push the price up again ?

yes price should go to 800$ atleast after halving, and halving is probably most important bitcoin event in 2016,  because  it will rise price of bitcoin for sure and by couple of hundreds atleast, also pretty important thing for bitcoin is lots of new bitcoin sites to buy and sell for bitcoin, this will rise price in 2016 too

The halving is the most important event in 2016. We will also increase the block size to 2MB or higher this year.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: April 11, 2016, 09:36:46 AM
hmm, ok Smiley  Bitcoin (your wallet) is your bank and you don`t need so called bank, but think if that will be true that people will be chipped with Bitcoin wallet this can make some problems in the future, when the chip provider is a bank, lol Smiley

Don`t play with illuminati if you can`t play the game Wink

Bitcoin give me an option not to use conventional banks. But I will use banks to borrow money.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are you mining these days? on: April 11, 2016, 09:35:34 AM
I've started mining CURE coin. I already have nearly 100,000,000 folding points, so I thought I might as well continue contributing to F@H and make a few pennies. I'm making about $2.00 a day with my 980 Sli and i7-5820K.

I get free electricity so, you know, YOLO. The cool thing about it is that you can also mine it too, so I got a little Rockminer hashing away getting 2 cure coins a day. At the end of the week I just go to an exchange and sell them for BTC

Are you really getting 2$ a day with CPU mining?

he said with 2 980 plus i7 not only the i7, so $2 for all that is even low profitability

The purpose of his mining is not to make profit. He just wants to contribute to the healthcare of human being.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term OIL on: April 11, 2016, 09:33:58 AM
I bought some oil stocks because the potential is there. The world is not ready (by a long shot) to say goodbye to oil and embrace green power. With the price going to 30 dollar and oil producing countries keep increasing their production, the price could easily fall back another 5-10 dollar.
I also did this .stocking oil..because i heard  and see .on a natgeo if im not mistaken oil will be drain by estimated year 2023 . So it is not avisable for me to biy a car that will use only for 6-7 years .

If the world was running out of oil in the next 7 years, nobody would be buying new cars which run on gasoline.  Wink
We still have 40-50 years before this happens, and you can expect technology to compensate before that
A dated article which explains this
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/earth/energy/oil/9867659/Why-the-world-isnt-running-out-of-oil.html

40-50 years is by far on the short side of estimates. Most estimates have us around 100 years still.

These so called "estimates" are not worth a shit

Yeah, it's probably better to pretend oil is infinite instead of trying to project how long oil could possibly last based on the information available.  Roll Eyes

The oil supply is unlimited if the oil price is high enough. At present we have shale oil, in the future, we will have very deep sea oil.
68  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: April 11, 2016, 09:32:05 AM
The bitcoin is in the consolidation phase, when it has finished, the price will also go very high. I am buying.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which PSU for 6x R9 390? on: April 11, 2016, 09:28:53 AM
Corsair CP-9020057-EU AX Serie AX1500i ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Titanium 1500Watt, Digital, Netzteil, EU
this one or the Lepa 1600w?
for 4x R9 390?

For 4x390, 1500W is enough.

1500W is even enough for 6x390 if you use the -100mV undervoltage. That will consumes about 220W each.

The 1500W power supplies are usually not single rail, so you have to distribute the power properly among the rails.

read http://www.corsair.com/en/ax1500i-digital-atx-power-supply-1500-watt-fully-modular-psu

corsair 1500 can be set to operate with single or multiple rail

That is just an exception. I saw quite a few 1200/1250W power supply are single rails. I use the OCZ 1250.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are you mining these days? on: April 10, 2016, 09:13:46 AM
I'm mining 1Mh/s in scrypt (I'm not getting profit, It's just for fun) And 3 MH/s of x11 in nicehash

If you do not for fun, why not mining Decred or Ethereum, that is more fun and can even make you some profit.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: April 10, 2016, 09:10:01 AM
Now is the perfect time to buy ether. it has been very solid and seems to want to go back up naturally.

The price has recovered some bit. The price is around 0.0237 now. So there is quite strong buying support.

Nope. 0.02 is next support level, and failing that I'd suggest it filling the gap between 0.018 and 0.016. Look for high volume. Should see a good bounce then.

The price is trading around 0.020x. If the 0.02 is broken, the price could go down to test the 0.015 level.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin of 2016? on: April 09, 2016, 02:51:03 PM
Etherum or the Decred could be good candidate for the big coins of 2016. They are being developed actively.
73  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are down again? on: April 05, 2016, 11:39:37 AM

There a lot of issues right now with bitcoin and it needs to be fixed before the halving comes, just like the slow confirmation that is happening.

slow confirmation because of the low fee transaction. and maybe bitcoin will be down next month because of the low fee trans Huh

slow confirmation time is only because the fee of that tx id wasnt enough.

but eventually what youre talking about is similar how paypal has low fees to do the same thing, which would be the hard task for bitcoin.

kinda confused how the value of tx id prices would work out.

If the block size is small and every body pays the higher fee, the transaction time is still slow. We need to increase the block size.
Yeah you right the transaction will slow even you pay 100k satoshi the speed still slow and i think only block need to change so that the speed of transaction too will change..

The recent transaction does not take too long term. Maybe there is less bitcoin transactions. it is not a good sign.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term OIL on: April 05, 2016, 11:38:13 AM
Today's released oil capacity figures:

Oil prices slide as U.S. crude stocks hit record. U.S. crude stockpiles rose by 2.3 million barrels to 534.8 million barrels in the week to March 25, the seventh week at record highs, data from the U.S. government's Energy Information Administration showed.
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-global-oil-idUSKCN0WX00R

but all OPEC member has meeting to push oil price up maybe position buy is good for long-term trade.

They can only push prices higher beyond a short-term rise only if they agree to curtail production, which they evidently won't

The Saudi wants to reduce the income from oil in Russia and Iran. So it will want to suppress the oil price.

Which they can only do by pumping even more oil

Yes. Even when the price is $10, it is still profitable to produce the oil. But its total income will reduce.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falling under 300 again on: April 05, 2016, 11:36:59 AM
The chance is really small that the value will fall, we can see that the value is now stable and that is not that bad because there are a lot of people that want to sell their coins.
And I think the time will come soon in the future to sell your Bitcoin with a good profit, just have patience.

The price will not fall below £350 let alone $300. If the price drops below $400, it will be just a few hours.
nobody knows what happened in the future, you or anyone can't predict bitcoin price will fall down or bitcoin price will rise.

In long term, I can predict safely that the bitcoin price will rise to very high level. In the medium term, it will be $800.

I talked to my relatives about the bitcoin, they do not trust it as it is not backed by the government authorities. They just trust the government.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: April 04, 2016, 03:44:03 PM
i managed to resurrect my old PC and got a gfx card from a friend- R9 280x. what has speed will i be getting on avg. on this card. Use to get 770 kh/s fro scrypt algo

The speed will be about 21MH/s. If you undervoltage and underclock, you may have better efficiency.

80  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the number of available bitcoins decreasing? on: April 04, 2016, 03:40:39 PM
The lost coin will reduce the current supply. The idle coin will be counted towards to the total available coins.
