Is there anywhere in cgminer where I can see if I solved a block other then having to quit to see it in the stats.

65  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Loan for ASICs on: December 20, 2012, 01:39:55 PM
I wanted to give a little bit of an update on this program.

1) Thanks for the well wishes in pm folks.  I'm back to (almost) full health now.

2) I'm considering some type of stair stepped % of interest the lender would earn to further reduce the risk/reward ratio.  This would be based on the amount of time it takes for the lender to make back his principal.  This would obviously shift more risk to me, but I feel if this can be done reasonably, it would be further incentive for more lenders to join me.

3) bASIC announced today that they are getting close.  Per Tom aka cablepair at the BTCFPGA forums: "The chips will be on time, and the board design is coming along very nicely. Dare I say we are close to completion."  This gets me excited, and I hope if you'd like to invest in an ASIC, but for whatever reason (customs, electricity, shipping, space, etc.) you just don't have the ability to do it on your own, let's work together and make a little BTC  Cheesy

We will have to see if there is any asics.  At this point everything at this point has just been empty promises.

I think it's time for legal action.

Filing a fraud claim with the Illinois Attorney General is a good place to start. It's free and doesn't limit you from further litigation. I recommend everyone affected take 5-10 minutes to print out the fraud complaint form and mail it in.

http://www.illinoisattorneygeneral.gov/consumers/index.html

Here is the info we have on him to help you fill out the form:

RESIDENCE:

SAM THEOFANOPOULOS

BUSINESS:

I don't see a checkbox for btc on the form.  Are you sure this the right form.  Like I said it will be interesting to see where this goes.  I'm done trolling.  Good luck guys and gals.

Do you mean the same legal action that was used to get Pirate.  You guys are funny.  It will be interesting to see if this goes anywhere.

The last that I heard from him was on the 5th Dec:

"... I'm currently waiting two weeks to gather everyone's offers.  After that I will give a timeline.  It shouldn't take too long."

So there should be an update soon as it's two weeks from then tomorrow, hopefully by the weekend at latest.

I received the same message December 3rd.

LOL he probably pulled a runner knowing that he can't pay you or that there isnt really much you can do.

He's hoping for the end of the world this Friday so he doesn't have to pay up.  Grin

This guy is a deadbeat from the information that I found on the net.  Good luck trying to get anything from him.

I have a bunch of modminers running on ubuntu and on the new version 2.10.0 the display is showing each fpga individually and I can't see all of them.  Also the accept share display isn't showing due to the fact that there is to many devices.  Is there anyway to fix this.  Thanks.

compact mode, or use more remote monitoring with something like miner.php

How do you run compact mode?  I never had to use this option before.

Same issues cutting out after running for a little bit.  Is anyone else still experiencing this problem on the modminer.

Looks like bfgminer isn't working with bitminter anymore.

Yes.  They start mining and shut off one at a time, some within 5 minutes of starting.
76  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Algorithmically placed FPGA miner: 255MH/s/chip, supports all known boards on: December 03, 2012, 12:27:31 PM
Has the issues with the modminer been corrected yet.

Mine still dies after 20-60 minutes.

The log file you sent me is from tml-1.52.  I fixed the minimum_accept_rate bug in 1.53.

That works.  When the accept rate drops below, the process resets.

I was just noting that it is not stable long term.

I'll set it back up on that machine tomorrow, and give you shell access, along with a debugging port.

Does this work with just entering the new command line entry or does it need the script.

Actual shares at the actual number of shares submitted, at any difficulty.  Diff1 shares are the equivalent number of diff1 shares, which is what everyone is paid against.

With the advent of variable difficulty shares, we needed a baseline way to account for shares, and sticking with the diff1 shares seems the most obvious and efficient solution.

Which way is the my share column calculated?

On your block stats page I see diff 1 shares and actual.  What is the difference between the two?

I don't have a horse in this race but I did do some internet snooping on the name listed in the thread and it looks like hashking already has some lawsuits filed against him for credit cards and foreclosed properties.  I hope you guys are going after the right person, because if this is him you guys will be throwing good money to chase money you might never get.

Link?

http://chgoforeclosures.com/chicago-foreclosures-nov-24-2010/

Here is one link.  Still looking for the other ones.  Do a search on your browser and then name is haflway down.

That was over 2 years ago. We'll ignore that one.
Any more?

I wouldn't say that its irrelevant.  If it was never settled then that bank might still be trying to collect.
