61  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin Is Going to Succeed: The Reason Nobody Is Talking About on: April 19, 2013, 10:22:15 AM
Also check out this great presentation by a Google engineer on Bitcoin applications that can be implemented right now. That's what I'm talking about as far the workforce overcoming hurdles.

Link?
62  Economy / Collectibles / Re: CASASCIUS PHYSICAL BITCOIN - In Stock Now! (pic) on: April 18, 2013, 07:06:26 PM
I'd very much like 1 BTC 1 oz silver coins. That would be a healthy diversification of wealth into metals/btc as of right now in my opinion ( roughly 1 fourth in metals)
I could see my self buy 10 or so of those Cheesy

+1 post count for me
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: April 16, 2013, 12:33:51 PM
Interesting double bottom looking situation with unprecedented volume.  $50 is probably the bottom.
Proudhon, you are scaring me! This is the second post where you call the bottom at 50.. Does this mean we are going to single digits? :s
65  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Scam Alert and Review Panel on: April 15, 2013, 07:43:13 PM
Is cloudhashing.com added to the list?

EDIT
====

Also add http://www.cedartec.net/ as under review.

Enterpoint.co.uk and ztex.de should be marked as cleared.

CedarTec looks shady to me! Mainly because of the ridiculous low price I'm no expert, but 80 GH/s for 999$ feels wrong.. They also say they will have a delivery date of May 15th, which is a tad too good to be true..
And of course only way of paying is by BTC.

I have answered another thread about our company website http://www.asicrigs.com in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=169969.0 please feel free to continue posting any questions, concerns or comments you have in there (so that I can keep track of feedback and answer your concerns in a timely manner).

Thank you.

I've read your posts GPU Rigs, and you seem quite friendly and helpful, I really hope you won't make me lose faith in humanity by being a scam.. Sad
However on the positive side, will you be shipping from within the EU? Cheesy That's the main reason I didn't preorder any ASIC's anywhere, as the shipping to Denmark from outside EU adds more than 25% to the price.. >.<
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: April 14, 2013, 01:20:09 PM
Almost 4k ask wall popped up at 105.. Looks like someone wants the price down..
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Epic bear trap in the making? on: April 13, 2013, 10:27:39 AM
We don't want to hurt the bears physically, we just want their coins Cheesy

Speak for yourself, I'd be cheering madly as Proudhon teetered at the top of the Empire, having shorted himself into millions of dollars debt.

I WAS WRONG! I ADMIT IT!

pigs float merrily by

I'm almost certain that Proudhon still has Bitcoins equivalent to a very nice retirement.. He's just trolling away, not caring about anything.. We will never see a broken Proudhon, no matter how much everyone wants it.. :b
68  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Crash Then and Now - 2011 v 2013 how big are the differences? on: April 13, 2013, 09:57:42 AM
Very nice comparisons, however is it possible to slow down the GIF's? They are moving a tad too quick for me to properly use them without getting dizzy :b
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: Epic bear trap in the making? on: April 13, 2013, 09:48:03 AM
Aw those are sad pictures Sad Did it bite a high voltage line?

Even though I agree that this has been a huge bear trap, I don't think those pictures are appropriate.. We don't want to hurt the bears physically, we just want their coins Cheesy If that affects them psycholigically, it's their own fault Cheesy
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: April 12, 2013, 10:44:34 AM
Volume is not very high, could it be a DDoS? They handeled the 15 k sell-offs like a champ..
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will market react when MtGox reopens trade? on: April 11, 2013, 06:21:51 PM
I wonder how much of a difference the change of servers will make...
Does anyone still hold bitcoins?

Well considering they are offering 0% fee for 48 hours, they must be pretty confident..
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will market react when MtGox reopens trade? on: April 11, 2013, 05:23:32 PM
IMO situation is quite clear at the moment: very easy to move coins from exchange to exchange, not so easy to prompt move fiat, therefore price is likely to go down while Gox is closed.

How do you think the market react when Gox opens again?

Super deep flash crash and then recovery?
Bear market with long and continued decline like in 2011?
Fast recovery?
Where are you seeing support and resistance short and mid term?

Place your bets gentlemen.

Simple. MtGox will prove itself why its the leading exchange. It hold the largest (by far margin) fiat pool.
Coins from other exchange will pour in and increase MtGox trade volume to record high.

Other exchange? shoot themself in the head.

You said this in the Wall observer thread as well, however I'm not sure if you're saying that the price will drop or increase. I only hear talks about volume, and it's obvious that the volume will reach record high, especially with the 48 hours of no fee.. I'm wondering íf Gox can even handle the amount of trades that will cause..
73  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://www.pyramining.com/ - Discussion thread (no advertising here) on: April 09, 2013, 06:46:40 PM
Hello Pyramining! I've added roughly 37 btc for an ASIC deposit around two weeks ago, for a rough hash rate of 70 gh/s. I'm getting a bit worried that the recent Price increase will cause serious spike in difficulty. I'm afraid that the return will be delayed by so much that Price could rocket even further and ultimately extending my return indefinately.. Please say i'm just being paranoid Smiley

75  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: April 08, 2013, 04:16:21 PM
Woah 180 bid wall was bought up..

Edit. Silly bears, selling 1 k BTC at 10$ lower than what they can get if they just used their heads..
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: By December 31st, 2013 we will have touched $1000/BTC on: April 06, 2013, 11:35:22 PM
Very, very unlikely.  Also, looks more and more like the correction is coming. Low volume, etc.

Proudhorn called it!
We're definitely going to touch 1$ per mBTC! Wink
77  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price at the next block reward halving? on: April 06, 2013, 10:21:58 PM
Either in decimals/single digits or in quintuple digits. It's either or for bitcoin within the next 4 years, the only reason I think it might still be in single digits even if it fails is because of Silk road.  Tongue

Four years however could very well be enough time for Bitcoin to enough traction for mainstream adoption, hence the quintuple digits Smiley
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: A year from now (2014/04/05) on: April 05, 2013, 01:18:55 PM
Random guess: $4000 per 1 BTC on 2014/04/05.
So, let's remember this thread in a year and have a good laugh Smiley

Or cry miserably..

However I'm still optimistic! Go quintuble digits! :b
79  Economy / Economics / Re: Chart and projection of the 3 major trendlines in 2013 so far on: March 29, 2013, 03:53:58 PM
You forgot the parabolic one Wink My uneducated guess would be a straight line that's a mix of the two upper ones, which would go to around mid 2014 early 2015 until it goes parabolic and we'll see 10000$ bitcoins by 2016 Cheesy *Crossing fingers* :b
80  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: March 29, 2013, 01:30:36 PM
