Hi, after doing nothing but taking care of my hoard for almost 3 years I'm back to altcoin escene, besides the comically high amount of 'the same NTF with a slightly different gimmick' projects I find it healthy and promising
But... besides the good, solid coins I need something else, I want to play with the 'other' coins, the riskier ones, and as a long time staker my favorite high risk cryptos are the ones with ridiculous, unsustainable POS rewards, the ones you know will go sub-satoshi overtime, you know, a bit of meme trading is funny sometimes
I have already spotted some masternodes with very high rewards, but I'm sure several more are out there, then, shill me, without shame your favorite unreasonably high POS or masternode coins, maybe some are worth a shot
So, i don't understand why. If you want to play, why don't you play with microcaps instead of something that's doomed by math. Why would they be worth the shot when you can mathematically prove that they are unsustainable and will always go down in price? Or are you hooked on passive income? That's a byproduct of a good project. Like buying and trading NFTs got you PAINT, GODS and IMX airdrop, or that using uniswap got you UNI airdrop. People who bought apes got a lot of expensive free stuff later just because of holding them. But projects with whole point of inflation are just sad. They are doomed to die because their whole idea is around wealth, something that should be a byproduct, not a whole gimmick. Its not the passive income, I find trying to predict when they will fall hard an interesting exercise, of course, I never go into these projects with serious money Well, what are those that you're eyeing to have?
essentia mars, cryptoshares, eros and some decenomy coins I have already spotted some masternodes with very high rewards, but I'm sure several more are out there, then, shill me, without shame your favorite unreasonably high POS or masternode coins, maybe some are worth a shot
Idena - its first POP (proof of person) blockchain. 1 person = 1 node = 1 vote. No KYC, sybil resistance achived by turing test combined with POS type of rewards. Its interresting because they achived non-linear increase in payments for nodes. 1000$ investment - 100% APY, 100 000$ investment - 18% APY. - https://www.idena.io/stakingBut DYOR first. that one looks interesting, I will learn more about it, thanks

Most likely, chinese government is underreporting the total deaths and overestimating the recoveries, but is unlikely that they created the virus, or for that matter that they can save their economy of its aftermath They are just trying to save face Chinese gov's geopolitical planning relies in china being ''cheaper'' than the western countries at least 20 years more, if Europe and the USA lose purchase power China is among the first losers, in fact, they likely will devalue the yuan as USA and Europe's monetary stimulus hit the markets

Well, as I'm writing BTC is going down, around 6150, has been going up several days in a row, is not surprising But, I want to talk about the alleged impact of stock market crashes in BTC value, bitcoin's correlation with stock markets works as a marginal value correlation It means, because BTC is among the first assets institutional investors -the REALLY BIG whales- sell in a dip, and is also among the first ones the private investor -the ''normal'' whales and the crypto aware everyman- grab once the inflation ghost appears, the first crash of a hypothetical series will be very bad to BTC -the hedge funds and banks will sell their big holds- the second crash will be just bad, the third somewhat badish and the next ones will be good as the big investors who see it as a lesser asset will be spent and others scared of our hypothetical series of crashes will take it as something capable of ''be money, but out of government and banks reach'', its original reason to be

It will be the same as chinese digital yuan, an e-wallet, not blockchain based and with nothing to do with crypto The question is: why a western country needs a ''government's paypal''? Most likely is just the politicians trying to grab more resources

I have a doubt, I know BURST since before the community takeover and is a very interesting coin, among the first ones with token functionalities, but, the bounty's sign up form asks for an erc20 compatible wallet Why use an erc20 wallet in the bounty if the BEX will be BURST based?

As several users have pointed, bitcoin hasn't been made for times like these Bitcoin has been made for very hard -or terminal- fiat crisis, the times when nobody, even the governments, want to have nothing to do with fiat, be it because inflationary runs or distrust in the issuers We now have a economic depression, we can have -most likely, we will- a inflationary run as covid's aftermath, but is not the case, yet

Have you seen how governments responded to the corona virus?
Quite simply, in Italy, the US and elsewhere, they will increase their budget deficit, and add debt. In my understanding, that's very bad for fiat currencies, while BTC will remain unaffected, thanks to the lockdown on money supply.
You're a bit ahead of our time, BTC will compete with fiat ''in real time'' once it is accepted for everyday purchases by most of the population, right now it competes with the gold and silver coins and penny stocks as cheap investment vehicles It still needs more adoption and diffusion Of course, if the ''big'' fiats -usd, euro- lost too much purchase power in covid's aftermath it will go up, but will take its time He is not ahead of his time, you are. He is pointing a fact, governments are printing money like crazy in the last few weeks, and do you think they will stop anytime soon? So fiat supply is going up, more money than ever, while bitcoin and some other currencies can't do that, simply said they are printing unlimited amounts of money to buy limited amount of bitcoin, I think that say's all! Corona is killing fiat economy, we will see what will happen after all this! Many businesses and people can't work, don't have any income, but you have to pay the bills. Yes, monetary ''stimulus'' by governments reduce fiat's purchase power, but it doesn't do good for btc as long as people sees btc as an asset and not as money, corona isn't killing fiat economy, is killing fiat purchase power, but as long as fiat is the only money widely used for everyday purchases its reduced value doesn't matter We need to use bitcoin as money, then it will show its fundamental strengths
