The history of yet another guy trying to earn money. I wonder how much people actually think Bitcoin as money and not investment.

He forgot to say how this is going to happen. Most ways to spend Bitcoin aren't very clear, as this is the case for Dell and many others, where you need to contact them, and it only works in USA.

This guy has no idea what he's talking about if Google translate properly translated that page for me. There are no technical arguments and it is clearly stated on the Core roadmap for scaling why 2 MB blocks are bad right now. He talks under the assumption that Core plans on sticking with 1 MB forever and making the main chain a settlement layer for the banks. He also assumes that the fees will rise to a few hundred dollars. Both points are complete nonsense: A) Why would banks be using Bitcoin as a settlement layer if adoption is limited? They can easily create their own. B) Why would anyone use a system with drastically high fees when they can switch to alternatives?
The post also mentions Moore's law which is pretty much dying. Bitcoin will not stay at 1 MB.
Bitcoin will not stay at 1 MB. But it needs to move to 2MB or higher quickly to accommodate more adoption/usage. The average user won't will start using Bitcoin just because you said "hey, come on, I made some space just for you!". If they didn't come yet, it's not increasing by only 1MB that will convince people to use. The mass adoption won't happen so soon.

Sure, let's open it to discussion: What do people think of making this campaign a fixed rate/monthly type campaign with competitive rates (of course)?
I don't like it TBH I feel very comfortable posting in my free time, I mean, sometimes I may post a lot in a week, other times I'll post only a few, and even if I post a lot, almost half of my posts doesn't count, since I post a lot in my local language section and sometimes in the off-topic section. I don't like being forced to post, I want to post only when I feel that I need to.

And I noticed the bot increasing my excluded post. I have a total of 8 excluded post now including this. I reviewed all my post in this period and I think it's only around 4 or 5. Not a big deal after all but Im just curious why the bot behaves like that.
Anyways today is my payment day and hoping it's not delay again.
Thanks !!
Seens they fixed it Edit: Nvm, this post itself is counting to the payout

Those Steam Keys are generated by Steam itself. Only a retail seller(like g2a, humble bundle) will have a way to generate those keys, we can only have gifts in our inventory accounts.
So am I need to be a confirmed seller for Steam to buy and sell these keys? How can I be one of them? Is there any partnership page on steam? Excellent question. I have no idea how to say that you want to be a retailer. Maybe try their contact e-mail?

It's not about adopting, but studying how to use anything from the structure of the blockchain. Also note that they don't ever mention "hey let's use Bitcoin", they want control and not a open ledger.
then i don't see the point for them to even work on a centralized blockchain, what real advantages can a centralized bring, that a cluster server can not? besides being more organized and transparent i'm not buying the whole bullshit about cost and time, their cost are minimum right now with a cluster server instead of running node for another blockchain, it would be the same I think that like the reason the very first net was born, is the reason for using the blockchain: descentralization, have the same information on multiples servers all over the place. Server down? No worries, connect to this server and everything is OK. When that server come up running again, it will recover all the data his is behin of the network and everything will run OK.

We united against his bullshit XT. I think he did a great job showing that no one can change Bitcoin will stupid ideas. Thank you Mike.

You are free to start your own altcoin based on Bitcoin's blockchain, blacklisting the coins you wish to blacklist.
And in fact many people have tried it and still are trying. Could you link to such attempts? It would be interesting to see Folks attempting to do this can't complain about having less users than Bitcoin. A quick search looking for "bytecoin" will show you the first attempt. It was simply bitcoin, but with a totally new genesis block, and so, a new blockchain.

I understand and agree with most of what is being said on here about this topic, but these answers bring this conversation back around to the fact that if these purchases are not confirmed there is a chance that someone could possibly double spend before confirmation. I know this risk is low, but that risk is why a number of vendors will not accept Bitcoin as payment currency.
Double spend a transaction is not that easy. Even more if you pay with a smartphone in the front of the guy that is selling you the candy bar. Of course, you're going to buy a house or a car, the seller will probably request to wait 1~6 confirmations since its risky and the value is high.

|
Understand that when someone realys the transaction that more than enough to know that the seller will receive the money. The conformations are just the way to register the transaction so the seller can use the money.

Desculpa me intrometer.
