Although bitcoin has some issues that needs to be address, I don't see any reason on why would bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency. Not unless, the existing user base of bitcoin will totally lost confidence on bitcoin and an exodus to another crypto will happen, then bitcoin will be here to stay. Some cryptocurrency may reach the popularity of bitcoin as it has today, but it would just co-exist with bitcoin. More like friendly competition.

I'll update it and see if I can deploy it to the mainnet. I think it shows the potential of Lisk quite good.  This would be nice. At the moment there is no App on the mainnet (or I can't find it), which is really bad for a coin which was announced as "for JavaScript Developers". Will it possible to launch the App from the lisk.io online wallet then? As simple as Guestbook Dapp it may seem, it's a good start for lisk and I'm hoping that more dapps will soon come to follow. |

The rally might have a hard time breaking $600 but there's no way we go back to $400 even whales dumps their coins. Not unless we have another big bad news coupled with whales dumping to take profits, then I believe btc price will hold at around $540 to $610

While it may be true that the Philippines is now one of the major player with regards to virtual currency use, and Central Bank of the Philippines is considering to adopt the use of it, it is also reported that the Philippine government is planning to tighten the use of it. http://themerkle.com/philippines-will-tighten-regulations-for-bitcoin-operators-and-exchanges/IMO, they are just trying to regulate further the use of bitcoin in the country and keep track to those use it. |

Saving and investing are two different thing. You need to save money first in order for you to be able to invest. Then, you can save your profit from your investments. It's always wise to have some savings before you go into investing. If you invest all your money and the market takes a wrong turn, you'll be left with nothing. Unlike if you have some savings, you can use that again to recover your losses when an opportunity presents itself.

Coinbase was one of the most heavily startup so I don't think that it will eventually fold anytime soon. Those investors will not easily give it up. Aside from that, they embraced eth for some kind of rebranding and expanding their user base. They also released widget for bitcoin users to buy easily using debit card.
As for your question on where do I go to sell my btc, I always use local exchanges.

Man oh man, can't wait for something to happen with this coin. I have a good amount staked in it. Is there any way to gain some momentum with it?
It seems the dev is on vacation for a week now. I'm seeing early supporters still frequently dropping by here and I think its still a good sign that this coin is not dead "yet". But any announcement from the dev is necessary for this coin to keep going. |

one bitcoin from faucet,  lol it is almost impossible to get so. With max 1000 satoshi per claim in most of the faucets it will take years of 12hour+ daily claim to reach 1 bitcoin. Before, it is possible to get a whole bitcoin from faucets. You just need a ton of referrals and viola!!! But now that faucet users are in the decline or don't really spend a lot of time anymore as they use to, it is now impossible to get a whole bitcoin. |

And no, I don't see any circle in the top right corner of my browser. The transaction ID has already 2300++ confirms.
Both wallets are loading correctly for me with correct balances. If you are copy and pasting your passphrase I would suggest to try loading your text file into a different text editor like Caret ( http://bit.ly/1VhuL17) and to trim your passphrase and make sure there are no leading/trailing spaces. oh got it. I've been copy and pasting that damn passphrase. hahaha. I just type it manually and now I'm seeing my correct balance. Thanks man |

I'm getting "account has no LISK" on this second backup cluster. But I do have, it's there on my balance.
Any clues?
It is possible it is still syncing. If it is you should see a circle with a value between 1-99 in the top right hand corner on a desktop browser. I got the same problem as. I would not be specific on how many coins I am staking but I'm getting 4000 to 30,000 Bigup coins daily it varies daily because Bigup is not the only wallet I'm staking,try it and see how profitable it is.. I'm staking way below that amount, twice daily, but lately I'm getting a lot of orphans. What could be reason for that eh? |

I'm glad that I invested in LISK! Going from about 18,000 satoshi /$0.075 cents US at the end of the icu to about 270,000 satoshi currently on the iou markets http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lisk/#markets $1 US to $6 US per LISK. I truly believe that Lisk will be around $3 per LISK for the floor price. As soon as the dapps start arriving on the Lisk Dapp store then the value of LISK will increase! When there are at least 3 highly successful dapps then price will greatly increase! If these goals are accomplished by the end of 2016 then Lisk will be over $30 per LISK since Ethereum peaked at $17 based on what Ethereum is capable of currently vaporware and very unwanted dapps like the highly anticipated alarm Dapp made for Ethereum! Is it really possible?
