61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 26, 2016, 07:07:36 AM
Fast question for you guys: do you think it is safe to bet on Leicester City from now on, in every match?
Seeing how they dominate the league is for me very unexpected and I wan't to know if that is real rise of power or temporary luck on their side.

It is psychology at play now. It will be very tricky to bet on Leicester given the teams they are going to face. It is a make or break moment for the teams that are yet to play with Leicester.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: April 26, 2016, 07:00:07 AM
In order to stabilize the economy, there must be controls both fiscal and monetary. Similarly, halving in bitcoin mining will help to control the supply to stabilize he prices. If it is left at the current rate, it will be very difficult to control the supply and thus will affect the bitcoin price badly. It is just a matter of Supply-demand dynamics.

Another premium pick has been won
congrats to the many buyersss

Excellent, well done to all involved. I guess you didn't go for Tottenham to win against West Brom today then. I think lots of people lose money like this Smiley

Actually I lost my money because I was very sure that Tottenham was gonna win this match. Those who predicted a draw are all smiling.

65  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: April 08, 2016, 08:03:11 AM
And by serious things, can I assume a full out ban on my account?
It kind of depends. In most cases, I have read that most people utilizing the yobit campaign only made nonconstructive posts under yobit. When they weren't using yobit, it was proven they were more contributive to the community when they weren't just posting to get satoshis. As far as I know, you can get temporarily banned for a little amount of time, but you will indeed be kicked off if nonconstructive behavior is occurring multiple times.
Yeah but you gotta admit that what's deemed constructive and nonconstructive is kind of based on opinions. What one finds constructive may not be found constructive to another person so what exactly is considered constructive...
Hm, good point. Well, the thing is that we can't really decide what's constructive and what's not. The moderators do. I guess as long as it's not 3 word sentenced posts and not completely off topic and long, that's what's considered a constructive post here.
And where exactly was that said?
Here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1334019.0
Oh...

He said you won't actually be banned though for making a few one word posts. He/she said it's more of it you're continuously doing that in a matter of seconds between each post. Either way, people pay for signatures because they just want their business advertised. I don't really think that they actually care about the actual user's posts. As a campaign manager, all I would have cared about was if my sites ads were being clicked. That's all that matters here.

I was actually banned from this signature campaign because of a few one sentence lines that were in my posts. I had read the rules very clearly and was surprised that a sentence of about 20 words was counted as spam. This means the rules are not very clear or the moderator had other feelings. Actually, when i compared my sentences with those for other users still in the campaign, I realized there was foul play. Anyway, I don't regret being kicked out of this campaign.
66  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice Android app - Looking for testers! on: April 07, 2016, 02:57:23 AM
Hello Geert,

I have actually been using the app for a few days now. The loading speed is good, bets are working pretty fine, chat is good although there a few lags. The only thing remaining now is that while on autobet, one cannot view the bets rolling and at the same time see the balance. i think it is important that you monitor your balance as the bets roll. You have to be scrolling up and down to see either of them. My suggestion is that if you can make it such that the balance can still be seen even as you scroll up and down.
67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 30, 2016, 06:23:22 AM
Leicester looks likely to win the trophy now. To be homest I am still is disbelief that this team can overcome Man City, Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool & Arsenal.
five great team over this year is playing very well but Leicester is able to cope with everything. Leicester were able to show the world that the premier league not only belong to the team's fifth major.

This is a new dawn in the history of English premier League. Leicester are trying to show us that the premiership does not only belong to the big boys but even those small boys can make an impact. To me this is the right attitude that other teams should try to emulate and win the league also.
68  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice Android app - Looking for testers! on: March 25, 2016, 10:22:44 AM
Nice to see someone developing android app for PD, but as I see from the SS it is just like the mobile web version. Hope you can improve the app, such as adding the auto betting feature.

This app has all the features that available on the web version. If you want to autobet, get to the drop down menu available on top left corner of the app and you will see the option indicated as 'Automated betting'
69  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice Android app - Looking for testers! on: March 25, 2016, 05:51:37 AM
I have tried the app and have identified few issues which i have PMed, will give further observations later
70  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: March 24, 2016, 02:50:22 PM
The price of bitcoin matters a lot, just like the other currencies. Given that quite a good number of entities are now accepting bitcoin as a form of exchange, it is important that the price has o be taken into consideration. People are now trading in bitcoins, the price is an important factor to help one determine whether to buy or when to sell.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be Bitcoin Price After 3 months? on: March 16, 2016, 12:15:05 PM
I'm sure the next 3 months the price of bitcoin already passed the $ 400 price and has already reached $ 550, I think there will be a rather quick rise in the next month. keep thinking positive  Grin
passed? you mean in the next month or maybe in the future bitcoin will never come back to the price $400? not sure with this bro, i was thinking 2 month before halving is danger to see manipulation and i dont know price up or some trade made price at $350-$390. who have strong money will want to get many profit after halving.

Everyone wants to profit after the halving so i think that before the halving price will be going down and when the halving is over the price will surely raise up to maybe 450-500.
It will all depends to the whales manipulating the price, for how long will they dump and pump the price.

It is 14 days to April and the bitcoin price is around $420. Who knows, it might rise to $500 the way some people have predicted or it might fall to around $350. The truth is that it is very unpredictable at the moment to say what the price will be in April.

Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

Both are good. Invest to grow your money and save for any unforeseen circumstances.

You mortgage your house to buy Etherium? That is like mortgaging your whole family. Such ventures are only good when you can use that you can afford to lose. Take care unless you develop a heart attack.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hashpower provider! on: March 06, 2016, 10:59:16 AM
I have also not received any payouts for the past 10 days or so. It will be important that Genesis issues statements to its investors so that they understand what is going on. Otherwise this might be construed as a scam.

@Babs, check your contracts as if you had older contracts with older fees then those payouts would have stopped paying out now.

If you had 0.0015 USD per GH/s fees, then they have stopped paying out since almost a month ago now.

But just contact their support and they can can help you out as support on these forums is limited I think.

Just some advice anyway.

Ian

Thanks so much for information. I will raise a support ticket on Genesis-Mining for more clarification.

Is the person who created this thread still active here?.
Neh, they were last active -> February 25, I'd guess.
I placed a request but did not receive any feedback.
Basically, you can ask in other lending thread(topic). Guilelessly, you'll not get a loan (0.05BTC) with your collateral(account) IMO.

Thanks for the beads-up, I will try to request elsewhere
80  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: March 06, 2016, 10:53:42 AM
If you are a keen follower of financial news especially newspapers and magazine, there are cases where we have articles being written to discredit the bitcoin dynasty. They will tell you that bitcoin will come to die one day. As a firm crusader of bitcoin, I trust and believe that such articles are written by people who have little or no knowledge on how deep rooted the bitcoin system is. It will be very difficult to uproot this system.
