62  Economy / Lending / Re: Lyft driver loan. Need 0.15BTC (approx $1000) will repay $100/week for 13 weeks on: December 17, 2019, 03:41:47 PM
Yea... After I placed my trust in companies like genesismining and hashflare and they failed to deliver... I could not fulfill my obligations, I lost EVERYTHING and was homeless from about Sept. 2017 to March 2018 at which point I joined a life assistance center in Gaastra MI for 4 months. (Until June 2018).  Then I squatted with friends for a month and then took a job as a DJ for a local company (tjohne entertainment).  That job was an on the road job doing driver safety for Nisaan and various organizations all over the USA.  I did that until May 2019.

When I wanted to come back to GR last spring, I needed a car, a job, and a place to live.  Mind you I hadnt paid rent anywhere since 09/17 and I had sticker shock to find rent around $1200/mo and with my ruined credit, needing $4000+ to find a place.

I dont have that kind of money so when I found out I could rent a car from Lyft for $220/wk it solved my car and income situation and left me to find housing.

I lived out of the car for 2 months and finally found a trailer for $750 SD and $750/month.  I moved in on Labor Day.  FYI I am a 2595 rides given, 81% acceptance rate, and PERFECT 5 star rating, despite having lived in the car 😆

Lyft WAS good... $1200/wk income minus rental and gas ... I was making $750/wk!  But Nov. 11 Lyft cut rate from $0.63/m to $0.30/m... OUCH.  One week later, they nixed the $200 bonus for rental car drivers.  So now it is more like $1200 - $200 bonus = $1000/wk... And 50% pay cut means $500-$600 per week... MINUS expenses.

I am not chasing a dream... Just trying to get up and a loan could save me here.  I know my trust showed that I went AWOL after my business collapsed.  I was homeless trying not to die in MI winter.  Sorry 😞

This is all temporary, I am going to start programming again once I get gig income going. 👍

I know... It used to be good.  My issue is being locked into ONLY Lyft and paying Lyft $220/wk.  It sucks but if I can get a loan of even $500 I can get back on the road and drive other gigs that are profitable.

And believe me, it is my best option at the moment due to my wife's medical condition.

Interested Lenders, ask questions please

Hello.

I am in a situation here.  For the past 6 months I have rented a car from Lyft (Express Drive) from the office on 2nd Ave in Detroit, MI, for $221/wk.  (I live in Grand Rapids, 2.5 hours away) and operated as a full time driver.

Friday, Dec. 13 2019, I was rear ended on Michigan/Dudley in downtown GR (police report filed and report number will be given to my lender here if requested).  Even though the accident was not my fault, since MI is a no fault insurance state, I am still on the hook for the deductible.  While I know I can sue and get it from other driver, that takes time and I need help NOW, not 30 days from now.

I hope someone can help me because THIS is why Bitcoin is awesome... It is fast and for a guy down on his luck, it doesnt have the capitolist caveats of credit score. (Read my history below)

The upside is that I can rent a car in GR via Turo for $248/wk (includes everything except the fuel I use) to get going again.

With Lyft, I was earning $1000/wk until they cut the rate in half.  A caveat of Lyft ExDrive is that I can only use their car for Lyft which means my income for 2 months was $600/wk-$221/wk-$150 in fuel = $230 PROFIT/WK for 40+/- hours each week.

It has been tough... so now that I got rear ended, I need to find a better way.

Here is my plan:
1. Borrow $1000 in BTC and rent a Turo car for 1 month (approx $900).
2. Earn.  I have accounts set up for Uber, Lyft, UberEats, Doordash, Grubhub, Postmates, Deliv, Shipt, and Instacart.  Turo cars can be used for all those apps to earn and I am sure I can bank $700+/week.

REPAYMENT: I will repay $100 (in any Coinbase supported coin) each week for 13 weeks with an early "repay in full" option.  Either way, you get $1300 back off of $1000.

65  Bitcoin / Project Development / Faucet Game payout in what coin? on: December 15, 2019, 11:19:17 PM
I am building a cat game / faucet game.  Need input on payout preferences.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Recommendations needed for implementing DOGE FacuetHub Microwallet Script on: November 24, 2019, 02:42:01 AM
It looks like the faucethub microwallet script was released at https://hostingforbtc.com/fhmw-v1-full-script/

This is the script that mexicantarget (faucethub dev/admin) mentioned in the official post on faucethub.

On the hostingforbtc site with the script, it appears that the server implementation is above my head as far as setting up a server and running a doge node, etc.

If anyone has recommendations for VPS hosts that are suitable per the setup guide (on the hostingforbtc.com blog) and related advice would be great!

TIA
67  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Microwallet.co - A Step Towards Saving The Faucet Industry on: November 21, 2019, 05:12:10 PM
Cool.  I am planning out a pretty cool ride share game and will consider your services.  The downside is trust 😕
68  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Microwallet.co - A Step Towards Saving The Faucet Industry on: November 17, 2019, 08:49:36 PM
Will it simply be an implementation of the script being released at hostingforbtc.com (this was part of mexicantarget's ANN on faucethub.io) or something new?
69  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project idea: P2P Billing w/ Built in Escrow- suggestions? on: October 22, 2019, 09:33:51 PM
These are all great thoughts and feedback.  I really have little knowledge of how blockchain can be implemented but it seems that there is no reason why we cannot have a decentralized logistics company.

I am going to begin my journey by creating a simple & free and ad free faucet game funded by my personal funds.  Nothing big for payouts but I can begin to grow a userbase and see if I can develop it into a full CONCEPT game... And then find a way to develop it into an actual game app.

From there we could look at taking the game concepts and creating a real world application based on BTC somehow so that we can have a legitimate market driving force to give validity to the BTC asset.

If you do, you will be assassinated a thousand times faster than JFK.

Cool

Pretty sure it doesn't matter haw many times or how fast, I am not even from this planet.  None of you/us are.  Earth is nothing more than a simple question: What does it mean?  To me, I stayed simple... The last shall be first... The eart"H" becomes a "H"eart again when the war finally ends because... And the first shall be last... "W"ar makes a heart ra"W".  Ashes to ashes and dust to dust... The earth can endure the rawness of war, as the shell protects the child within...

Wanna assassinate me, fine.  Let my epithet read "😅"
71  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jesus (Yeshua) 2020 on: October 22, 2019, 09:05:45 PM
Hah.  I was joking but I like the conversation.

The presidential role is simple and too many presidents are acting beyond their role.

Legislative oversight: I would probably veto 100% of the congressional votes and make them agree on the 2/3rds rule instead of majority.  Plus I aint gonna have time for petty politics.

Point is: Grow up... Time for 50/50 is over.

As for the judicial branch, I would like to see more focus on redefining laws, processes, and terms that are out of date or need modernizing... Beginning with a joint review regarding the need to deprecate the electoral college... with the advent of modern tech, the people should be given the power that is being withheld and abused.  This eliminates the unfair practices of zoning and treating people like targets instead of free thinking humans.  420 must be federally allowed in an effort to de-incentiving the drug war.  Law suits should be brought against companies who profit from causing harm to people without proper disclosure as well as criminal charges in cases of law violations.  My list goes on...

As for the Executive branch, cabinets, foreign policy, etc... My focus would be on fixing what I see as the world's most OBVIOUS need: Make it more profitable to have PEACE than it is to have war.

This can easily be accomplished by uniting Jews Christians & Muslims under a new covenant with the God they worship.  Keep in mind though, it is only the condemned who needed a saviour in the first place.  A few of us are "true" and are NOT sons of Cain, as we do not have the murder blood guilt, yes, we can forgive any and all things.

I would change my name to its Hebrew origin and run for president if Trump gets impeached.  I literally could do a better job and have 0 political background.

Just let democracy do its job.

😂
73  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project idea: P2P Billing w/ Built in Escrow- suggestions? on: October 19, 2019, 03:48:15 PM
-snip-
This essentially sounds like OpenBazaar. It's for desktop only (I'm not sure if when you say "app" you are talking about mobile), but it does exactly what you describe. Buyer deposits coins, makes a purchase, sends coins to escrow, seller ships, escrow releases coins once item received.

It works entirely with BTC. You can read about it here: https://openbazaar.org/features/

...

... there is no need for smart contracts or similar to perform this.

Cool.  I am against 3rd parties in general.  I prefer to build it out as a DAC / dApp
74  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project idea: P2P Billing w/ Built in Escrow- suggestions? on: October 19, 2019, 03:44:33 PM
What will be difference from ebay in this service? Only in using BTC instead of PayPal?  Smiley

Well, my example doesnt really contain my unique-ish ideas.  But here is my thought:

Uber and Lyft are not going to be anything more than taxi cab companies with an app.  There is still a void for a private rideshare service to disrupt that market by allowing independent contractors to operate as true IC's.

I am thinking to build it out as a simulation game first and then see where it goes from there.

I am developing some ideas for a delivery service that is unique as well.

Thanks for the input 💯
76  Bitcoin / Project Development / Project idea: P2P Billing w/ Built in Escrow- suggestions? on: October 19, 2019, 02:23:04 AM
I have an interest in a billing system that would work as follows:

User #1 (buyer) deposits coins into app/wallet.  User #2 lists an item for sale in app.  User #1 buys the item and funds are sent to a separate escrow wallet.  Seller provides proof of shipment.  Buyer confirms.  A % of Funds are witheld for the platform fee and seller gets paid.

I searched but didnt find any similar solution.  I presume this could be done with ETH but is there a way to do it with BTC?

My example is not the real world idea I am developing.  I have an interest in developing a rideshare platform that utilizes BTC as payment.  There is a need to hold funds when a ride request is placed and then handle it or refund it, withhold cancel fee, payout, withhold platform fee, etc.

Thoughts?
77  Other / Politics & Society / NEW (10/7/2019) World War 3 theory, re: Trump, UA, RU, and more on: October 08, 2019, 03:48:30 PM
This is a theory worth investigating regarding Trump and UA (Ukraine) etc and if true would be the largest political scandal in my living memory since born in 1979 possibly averting WW3.

Who benefits most from $400m in US Milt. Aid to UA rebels in Crimea?  Russia.  Also Why isn't Putin pissed about USA aiding rebels against him?  Hmm...

For Trump to piss off Putin regarding UA/Crimea he needs something BIG in return and so does Putin.

Today, it made sense.  Turkey pays off Russia somehow in exchange for USA removal from Syria, USA gives $400m (smoke n mirrors) payOFF to UA "rebels" and Trump gets what he wants, a 2020 win somehow, even if it means going to war with Iran (likely with the alleged Iranian bombing in S.Arabia)? China? NK?

Question... What does Russia get?  Putin will establish his Union of Eastern Europe/Asia... via WW3 and explains why USA troops are coming home.

Trump's call with UA may have been a cry for help, exposing it all or did he just get caught?

Nonetheless, 🦃 is going to obliterate the Kurds and this is starting soon.

79  Bitcoin / Project Development / Two things: best forum software? And... Admins needed on: April 20, 2019, 01:53:24 AM
I am looking for reccomendations on the vest forum software for a community and project discussion.  Something like what bitcointalk is using.

Second, are there any admin volunteers who would work for free until we start earning revenue?

Thoughts?
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / $BAT Basic Attention Token Club on: April 15, 2019, 01:18:32 AM
Is there any interest in forming a BAT Club?  You can earn money surfing the web using the Brave Browser (beta version).  The club would be a social site and we can collectively develop new services to earn more BAT for the club.  If it gets popular enough, we could launch a profit share ICO and take it to the next level.
