61  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning Crypto trading as a beginner on: May 18, 2018, 09:57:25 PM
There are some basics of crypto market investment that a person should familiarize him with before he starts trading in the crypto market. The basics are, not to invest more than what you cannot afford to lose, always diversify your investments in order to minimize the risks, and the higher the risk the greater will be the return. Rest knowledge about market trends, technical analysis and charts can be known as the investor starts trading.
62  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What are the obstacles that lead to the failure of the project? on: May 18, 2018, 08:34:23 PM
According to me the following are the cause of failure of the projects:
1.   Your product or service has no demand in the market. Before you launch an ICO, make sure there is a major audience base for your product and a real need for your offering.
2.   People make subliminal decisions in seconds, and the way your brand looks and is represented, in respect to your website, logo, fonts, colors, visuals and content, says a lot about your offering. Perception sells, and you need to make sure you invest in brand building.
3.   The higher you set your hard cap, the more budget you will need for marketing, design, development and PR. Always keep your budget and the scope of your project in mind when you are setting objectives.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone make serious profit from hodling 6-12 months ? on: May 18, 2018, 07:54:03 PM
Yes, I had made substantial profits by holding cryptocurrencies. My money almost tripled in a span of near about 12 months. I think holding is the easiest and safest way of making substantial profits in crypto market. You don’t need to do much research and study about the market trends. Just hold on to your investments for few months. It’s not about the amount of period you hold your money but on your accurate timing of buying and selling at available opportunity.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to be used as world currency? on: May 18, 2018, 07:05:24 PM
Your doubts are completely true that Bitcoin cannot replace fiat currencies. I am quite sure about this. Bitcoin has not yet reached a stage that it can act as prime currency. There are so many loopholes that need to be fixed. It has to be regulated and some standards need to establish against which Bitcoin will be compared. I don’t think so government will provide such support.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Depending your future in bitcoin... on: May 18, 2018, 06:35:03 PM
Obviously, I completely agree with you. Bitcoin is a wonderful technology which has a great potential that can make people wealthier. But this does not means that you should totally depend on it for your livelihood. Along with earning profits, investors can incur huge losses also. Therefore it advisable to do some stable job and then invest in Bitcoin for extra income.
66  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin? Advantages and Disadvantages on: May 18, 2018, 05:40:58 PM
Advantages of Bitcoin are that it is decentralized which means there is no intermediary involved for the completion of the transaction which ultimately reduces the transaction fees. . It also allows making international transfers n very less time. You don’t even need to share your personal information which saves you from the breach of data privacy.
According to me the biggest disadvantage of Bitcoin is that it has no valuation guarantee. Since, there is no central authority controlling Bitcoin, no one can guarantee its minimum value. So if a large number of merchants decide to “dump” Bitcoins, its value will fall greatly which will cause great loss of wealth to the users who hold Bitcoins. Further there is very high price volatility and due to it anonymous nature it can be used for illegal activities easily.
67  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the true potential of Blockchain and decentralisation? on: May 18, 2018, 03:48:22 PM
The blockchain has a huge power of revolutionizing the working of many fields, not just payment and financial sector. Most of the uses of blockchain are available in the form of smart contracts. With the help of blockchain technology, smart contracts can be made more secure. Since blockchain technology can guarantee the accuracy of data, it can be useful in many Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, for entering the data into the AI systems and for recording the results from them. Financial institutions spend a great deal of money to meet the KYC norms. In this case, the blockchain technology would allow the organizations to access the individual verification of each other’s clients. This will reduce the administrative costs.
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what you should do crisis time in trading ? on: May 18, 2018, 01:46:23 PM
I think so its very important to control your emotions during the crisis time. You should have faith that this phase is temporary and it will be over soon. Though it may last for some months but if your coin has true potential it will recover definitely. At the same time I know that even after knowing all of this, it is difficult to control yourself. So the best is to hold on to yor investments and stop checking the prices again and again.
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is FUD? YOU FELL FOR FUD!!! on: May 18, 2018, 10:11:42 AM
FUD is Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. FUD can cause the price of a coin to drop, not based on fundamentals or charts, but based on bad news that spreads around social media. Many times the bad news isn’t substantiated or grounded in reality, and instead ends up being something silly like a popular talking head’s opinion that Bitcoin is a bubble. Obviously if I fell for FUD I will feel very guilty and like bating myself for this. But now such tactics have become very common. We had already seen some evidences. I will be more careful and try not to act according to the bad news regarding cryptos.
70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: can I make 100$ in 2-3 month without a base money? on: May 18, 2018, 04:25:43 AM
Yes you can make 100$ in some months even if you don’t have any money to invest. If you can write well then you can join some bounty campaigns. In these you will be required to perform certain tasks or write something according to the instructions of the ICO project. Or you can even start mining cryptos but for that you need some investments for huge computer systems and electricity, so go for bounties.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is officially dead on: May 17, 2018, 10:02:35 PM
Why are you saying that? Just because the prices are low? The price of almost all the cryptocurrencies is low nowadays, so does that mean that all the cryptocurrencies will die? It’s just a bearish trend in the market dude! And eth is such a great and topmost Altcoin. It has the highest market capitalization after Bitcoin. How can u even expect it to die? Ethereum is here to stay for long.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as savings, emergency needs possible? on: May 17, 2018, 09:31:09 PM
Bitcoin as savings is a good idea but only for general savings. It’s actually a bad idea for serving your emergency needs because during such needs you need urgent money. This means that you have to sell your Bitcoin without considering its price. So you might have to sell you Bitcoin holdings even if its value is very low or it causes you some loss. So think about it.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 Cheap Crypto Currency to Buy for 2018 on: May 17, 2018, 09:12:23 PM

74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: May 17, 2018, 08:50:42 PM
yes, I also think that Bitcoin has failed as a currency. This is mainly because of huge fluctuations in its price. This makes it unfit to act as a currency as currency is expected to show some stability but Bitcoin shows fluctuations in a matter of hours. Due to this reason only people have started using it as a store of value. Bitcoin has become a long term investment.
75  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why some ICO required KYC? on: May 17, 2018, 08:32:44 PM
There are many reasons for this:
1.    If an ICO can demonstrate proper KYC then it will be possible for all parties to establish credibility with banks and follow Anti-Money Laundering regulations. Voluntary compliance thus gives a project and its participants a stamp of legitimacy with regulators and banks.
2.   Cryptocurrency exchanges are beginning to exclude cryptocurrencies that did not properly implement KYC processes. Thus, not running such checks poses a long-term risk to a project.
3.   Voluntary KYC compliance may help ICOs reach a larger global audience and expand the number of jurisdictions in which they can take place.
4.   To avoid the creation of fake ICOs.
76  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain in business on: May 17, 2018, 06:07:57 PM
Businesses can use smart contracts to bypass regulations and lower the costs for a subset of our most common financial transactions. And the best is that the contracts are unbreakable. For example, Companies like Slock, which is an Ethereum-enabled internet-of-things platform, uses this application to allow customer to rent bicycles where they can unlock a smart lock after both parties agreed on the terms of the contract. Another advantage is cloud storage which significantly reduces the cost to store data for companies and personal users.
77  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are centralized cryptocurrencies safe? on: May 17, 2018, 03:44:33 PM
I don’t think centralization makes cryptocurrencies any safer. It only increases the trust of the people in the technology since it is backed by a central authority as is in the case of banks. But centralization can be actually harmful for cryptocurrency market because it can turn off the currency anytime and we can’t do anything then. In centralized market it is easier for government to attack the single point of failure. Whereas in decentralized system it has to target every node and miner to end the network.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I stop hodling already and buy something? on: May 17, 2018, 01:26:19 PM
You kind of seen allergic to fiat as probably who is totally against it. LOL! Anyways that seems to be a good idea to me too. That will save much time and will make online shopping quite easy for crypto investors. This will save our time also as we can directly use our crypto holdings for shopping instead of converting it into fiat first. But currently there is no such provision and the one you mention is only for big brands and for that too we have to convert our holding into gift cards. Much work needs to be done for providing such facilities.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: How does bitcoin become a currency? on: May 17, 2018, 12:19:11 PM
Bitcoin can still be used for the purposes you have stated as the past of Bitcoin. But as gradually as more and more people got aware about it and join this community its value started rising. This lead to the huge profits to the investors and they started mining it, trading it or holding it, etc. so Bitcoin became a store of value like Gold. But people should realize that the main purpose of Bitcoin was to ease the payment transactions.
80  Economy / Economics / Re: Study says being rich is determined by chance rather than intelligence or talent on: May 17, 2018, 09:59:49 AM
I agree with you that chance or luck plays a great role in the success o a person. Most o the people became successful because they happen to bag a right opportunity at right time and place. But it not like only your destiny or luck can make you successful or you can become successful only by chance. If you have the talent and a strong will to accomplish your goals, the success will definitely find a way to you.
