63  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] BitcoinTopSites.com [Complete Website] [SOLD] on: October 22, 2013, 05:53:32 AM
Bought bitcointopsites.com with website for 0.50 BTC from BTCTools.

Guess a sucker is really born every second. I guess you didn't even read the above thread.

Gratz to BTCTools got .45 BTC more than I thought he would get

I read the whole thread and BTCTools's posts before buying. That's how I bought bitcoingam.es for 0.25 BTC from BTCTolols before this domain and website. Just because you think it's not worth that much doesn't mean it isn't. Something is worth no more and no less than what someone would pay for it. Look at just the domain. According to http://instica.com it's worth $136,378 http://instica.com/appraisal/bitcointopsites.com. Again, that doesn't mean it's worth that much because it depends on how much someone would pay for it. Also, when you type top sites in Google, first website is Alexa Top 500 Global Sites http://www.alexa.com/topsites. When you go into that website the title says "Top Sites". I think bitcointopsites.com (Bitcoin Top Sites) domain without website is worth more than 0.50 BTC at current price.

Sadly that isn't what the community thinks otherwise this thread would be a hot bed of people trying to buy it. As I said 3 things make up a websites value, traffic, userbase, and ad profit. It had none of these. If you look around the room and you don't see the sucker you are it, today my friend you are it.

Don't listen to this person ,you did not paid an overpriced price for it.

yeah don't listen to the person that has been doing this for 10+ yrs but ok.

Domains with no websites could be valuable to someone too, like a empty building in a busy shopping area. Someone might say that there is no value in that empty building because there are no people going inside it, no customers, and no profit. But someone could see the potential of that empty building, buy it, and turn it into a profitable business.
Not when they are a phrase, very short or special domains are worth a lot. Try selling it in a few months you will not get anywhere near $92 you probably get $10 if lucky. I was basing all my prices on the domain, not the software. Software means nothing unless it is unique.

According to http://dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm domains like officefurnitureproducts.com (sold for $3,900 without website) are worth more than $10 to someone.

Woah, the adult listing thing is THE way to block reversible payment methods on eBay (because the payment processors ban adult stuff anyway). First I learned of it, here. I wonder what you have to pay fee-wise when your auction/BIN sells.

Should be just 10 % to eBay.
74  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: Buy BTC With Money Order & Check On eBay on: October 10, 2013, 10:20:39 PM
Price:
US $38.00 expensive.

Think that's cheapest on eBay for 1/5 BTC.

77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Department Of Homeland Security Goes After Bitcoin on: May 18, 2013, 02:17:34 AM
I thought the news would be "Department Of Homeland Security finds warehouse full of pressure cookers", which actually was Walmart's warehouse with pressure cookers waiting for distribution to Walmarts across United States (to be sold for cooking). But that's cute - they go after people who just want to buy little bitcoins (compared to all the currencies in the world). Will they go after Lindens dollars (Second Life) next?
78  Bitcoin / Legal / Bitcoin Regulation on: May 11, 2013, 05:42:38 AM
US is considering regulating bitcoin according to link below. Why are they considering regulating bitcoin? How they plan to regulate bitcoin? What is the purpose of regulating bitcoin? If bitcoin becomes regulated in less than 5 % (US) of the world, how will this affect bitcoin worldwide?
