Why would Silkcoin holders want to keep Silk with all it technical faults from the previous devs when the new SLK is going to not have all these problems and future development.
How many Silkcoin holders are going to make that decision to keep Silk and have no further development in the coin they are invested in(Would you be the Silk developer?)
I and most probably everybody else except you will swap to SLK so enjoy trading with yourself in which case no exchange is required you could run two wallets and just exchange between them !

SILK wallet sucks balls and freezes up all the time. Every user I have spoken to had the same issue... The wallet freezes up... Take your rose smelling shit elsewhere. If you are that good, recode the original wallet in your SILKcoin Classic and make it work right. Til then shut the hell up because the rest of us are moving on with SLK! You get angry like a poodle. Well my wallet works 100% fine. Just no good on tiny CPU machines especially when staking larger amounts. That freeze screen simply means your computer is working on the current stake. I'll be running daemons anyways |

I think he means to provide a safety net to those who have sleeping wallets, or im missing something. Hey man at this point if he is crazy enough, let him run his version of Ethereum Classic after everyone switches to SLK... Lol EDIT: He can call it SILK Classic Well no. It would still be called silkcoin. I'll just stake on some nodes and we can see how long this 'broken' chain survives by getting blocks until the time comes. It will be the sleeping monument to Silkcoin. To take part. Simply run your node and keep some coins staking. And yes Orestes it will save any sleeping wallets and decrease supply while you guys trade to SLK. |

For all of you freaking about Poloniex, you need to calm down. I called this out weeks ago. Poloniex doesn't give 2 shits... Get over it... Once SLK makes headlines and goes berserk, Poloniex will list SLK... Mark this post, just like you should have marked my last ones...
So what if they delist "SILK"... "SILK" won't exist soon... Time to move on to SLK and DRKSLK!
In hindsight I'm glad it happened this way. Polo wasn't responding to emails about the swap and launch of SLK so the dev team, righteously so, delayed the launch. It would of been even worse if we launched, created all this hype, and then polo delist silk and never add slk. You're absolutely right, Silkcoin won't exist soon anyways, let us leave the past behind. The dev team is now forced to lead us through the transition to Silk and DarkSilk. "The next two weeks are critical" and we will be stronger on the other side. Everything happens for a reason, the reason we wish to be. Let silkcoin die and be reborn. Let's get this clear.
We are the development team of Silk/DarkSilk/Weaver. We are not the old Silkcoin development team.
Our coin isn't being delisted from the exchange(s), the old Silkcoin is.
We are not deserting anything, as there isn't anything to desert.
Everything is going ahead as planned and holders of Silkcoin will still be able to swap to Silk even if there is no market for Silkcoin.
No market price is needed when it is a 1:1 swap.
True, but where is the market for Silk/Darksilk? How can there possibly be a market for a coin that isn't released. Silkcoin has been released for 2 years. Its successes, use, function and trade cannot be blamed or credited to the current developers and team members of Silk Network, Silk, DarkSilk or Weaver. I have said from the start that the code will be released once it is ready. Which it will be. All of these trials and tribulations will soon be a vacant memory, left to the sands of time. Lol. Why in Gods name would anyone buy and he will coin now... if they can just buy it off whatever low volume exchange you end up being on.. especially when you just said again.. you've got no responsibility for silicon.. and this thread is nearly half dedicated to silkcoin price speculation? And who is going to buy up the icon at the high price you chose when there is nothing but a low volume exchange to trade on. This is fatally flawed. |

Seeing as though SILK will be worthless in the next couple weeks. Why not start from scratch? No exchanges to start except your weaver that probably pissed polo off enough to delist you, miners, and the fantastic tech you've been talking about for the last 2 years while trying to keep you block explorer up? Ill throw some hash at a clean start. Maybe yobit? or CCEX? Bittrex aint gonna happen, and once out of polo aint never getting back in. Sell your SILK folks. Its over.
