"Iceland welcome aboard."

I am just worried that the price of bitcoin keeps falling as of today despite the publicity.

65  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-08-13] Bitfinex Remains Most Popular Bitcoin Exchange Despite Adversity on: August 14, 2016, 03:11:14 PM
Bter was hacked in 2015, it sprang backup. Bitfinex has been badly hit, but don't be surprised if it manages to wobble on till it gets on its feet again.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just hit $465 on: August 07, 2016, 03:49:17 PM
If the price of bitcoins rises too quickly, people will not want to buy it because there is the fear of a price crash.

It is better for the price to rise slowly to give people time to adjust to price changes.
67  Economy / Economics / Economic effects of bitcoins on: August 07, 2016, 03:44:07 PM
I was just thinking that since Bitcoins is 100% on the internet, what would happen if the whole world adopts it and 20M bitcoins gets stolen by a genius similar to what happened to Bitfinex?

China has always been a strong fan of bitcoin so I won't say I am surprised that a major Chinese firm is making use of the blockchain technology.
69  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-08-01]Crackle’s New Series StartUp is about GenCoin, the TV Version of BTC on: August 02, 2016, 03:23:20 AM
There are so many altcoins popping up each month that it's hard for legit coins to make a headway at all.

The scam coins seem to crowd the legit coins out of demand.
70  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-08-01] Coinbase announces new increased fee structure on: August 02, 2016, 03:16:07 AM
Coinbase is one of the cheapest out there, although snapcard.io goes for 0.5%.
I am not so sure about snapcard.io fees anymore now that bitcoin transaction fees have risen to 0.00030396.
71  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-08-01] themerkle.com-Brave Bitcoin Browser Secures Funding And ... on: August 02, 2016, 02:59:37 AM
That is a good idea, nothing makes browsing less fun than loads of ads that just keep wasting one's time.

Brave browser will announce bitcoin to a larger audience.

The safest thing to do now is not but steem coins. If you have any with you, sell as fast as you can, keep cool and see if the coin will rise again...
74  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ARE NEWBIES CONSIDERED AS FOOLS? on: July 17, 2016, 05:24:53 AM
People will behave as they please, I have come to develop an attitude of ignoring those who think too highly of themselves.

76  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When right timing to join signature camp? on: July 17, 2016, 05:16:20 AM
Well, if you do not want to miss out on a good signature campaign, check the Market - service section regularly. I often discover that by the time you are aware of an ongoing campaign all the slots are full already.
77  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: INVEST BITCOIN!!! on: July 17, 2016, 05:06:47 AM
invest in bitcoin and wait for the next halving, around end of 2016

Really if I had bitcoins as far back as 2015, I would have kept them. Now the price has risen a lot.
78  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does it take 1hr for one confirmation? on: July 17, 2016, 05:02:17 AM
For me confirmations usually take 10 to 15 minutes. As others have said, if the fee is too small, then it could take a lot longer. I've also found that if you are trying to move a very small amount of bitcoin, the fees could be more that the bitcoin that you are sending.

I thought small bitcoin amounts were supposed to be free. I received about 0.0099btc, checked it on blockchain, saw the amount, but in my total balance it wrote 0.

Now I'm confused, did the miner collect all the money?
79  Other / Politics & Society / Re: IDF new chief rabbi thinks it's okay to rape non Jewish women on: July 17, 2016, 04:53:36 AM
Anybody encouraging rape should be openly rebuked, whether Jew, Christian, Muslim or whatever. It is a great crime against the morale of a female.
80  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-07-13] news.bitcoin.com-4 Ways to Buy Weed with Bitcoin, Legally on: July 14, 2016, 08:22:43 AM
I strongly advise against weed, it never does anyone any good... don't waste your money and your life.

You can go to a rehab if you need to... but do not use drugs anymore.
