There is a way to keep it secure hope to hear about it in the next firmware update. Embarrassed
62  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitPay Visa - Why I Love It on: August 19, 2017, 02:57:11 PM
This is what the founders of blockstream have to say about this service offered by Visa for the cryptocurrency community:

"BitPay is fraudulently passing off btc1 as Bitcoin software to which people are required to upgrade. This is highly unethical and a violation of the bitcoin.org hard fork policy. Therefore, this pull request removes from bitcoin.org any references to BitPay and their software/services Copay and Bitcore."
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockstream: Satallite bitcoin to the moon? on: August 19, 2017, 01:56:35 PM
bitcoin cash?
No,

it is about blockstream and not bitcoin cash.

Although it has risen 100% in the last 48 hours.
So you can agree on that. Grin
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Blockstream: Satallite bitcoin to the moon? on: August 18, 2017, 08:04:18 PM

To me the reason why bitcoin cash is coming to oust the AXA-owned blockstream bankers who wanna run btc into the ground. Sad
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Minexcoin (ICO started) on: August 17, 2017, 04:46:29 PM
thank you . i have received MNX
where the exchange launch ?/
Did you receive your bounty payment of the MNX coins promised so many weeks ago?

Because there are many who have not received theirs who have been waiting forever to get them to their wallets.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (ICO closed!) on: August 17, 2017, 04:42:39 PM

Hopefully the mine price when hitting the exchange can be above the ico price  Smiley

But has it hit any exchanges yet?
No.
They said it would a week ago but nothing and only response is from this anonymous account which has not told anyone their name if they are even on the development team or just a individual to stall people here.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 17, 2017, 04:39:59 PM
Reading about how the "real" hard fork happening in November really makes those who sold too early makes me tingle inside. Cheesy
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: August 17, 2017, 04:37:37 PM
Bitcoin can be secure if it wanted to be.
Look at the alt coins which are proclaimed to be 100% secure.
They were built on bitcoin so if they can be I am sure bitcoin can be if it really wanted to be.
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 15, 2017, 03:35:05 PM
Ready to say goodbye to 3k territory?
It is dropping because it saw it was to high for it's own good.
With no real improvement for all this increase it had to fall some time.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (ICO closed!) on: August 13, 2017, 09:34:40 PM
Besides the delay to list in the exchanges, it has the bid of the bounty and of course that is less important but I think the project is in arrears.
Agreed.
I think they even had their support person on the telegram group, Irina, or whatever their name was leave the group yesterday someone was saying.

Members Za1n and Supercops are rewarded with additional two Zen's. Good work, thanks!

Please confirm payments!
Yes confirmed I received payment with the additional 2 zencash.

Sorry for the late response.

Just checking the thread about the news if campaign is ending or not this being the last week.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ZEN is a superior version of ZCash, but only 2% of price? lot of development on: August 11, 2017, 02:44:08 PM
I've always had this in the back of mind.
But can Zencash surpass Monero as the ultimate totally anonymous crypto currency?
Or is it just Zcash's version of Etclassic and nothing more to it?
Cause Etclassic will always be in the shadows of it's counterpart Ethereum of which it was derived from.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (ICO closed!) on: August 10, 2017, 09:14:01 PM
Hi guys, it's been a while since I have checked this project. I have some bounty MNX at this moment. How can we 'trade' that to BTC? Or isn't that possible in the near future?
They said it going to be available to trade on exchanges by August 9th.

That date has come and gone.

I think they can not produce on this due date as it is August 10th now.

Now I start to worry they do not have an exchange so to trade these on.

As I think everyone else who has waited for over 2 months on these promises are trying to keep calm about now.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to buy EOS tokens living in Newer York? on: August 06, 2017, 03:43:47 AM
And why is that?
Is it because they are not allowing ICO projects to be funded by US citizens?

Read all about how you could possibly avoid this caveat in the location you live in in order to buy from a company you elect in choosing to buy from:
https://steemit.com/ico/@pbitcoin/ico-tokens-during-pre-post-sales-can-be-available-to-us-citizens-too
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: August 06, 2017, 03:38:49 AM
Agreed with everything said and done in this thread.
ICO are trash and just for grabbing everybodies money and run once the ICO sale is over.
They got their money so why stick around to deal with the fall out when they essentially didn't have a product worth releasing in the first place or at all for that matter. Roll Eyes

Stick with what we all know in and believe...
And that is the alt coin projects.

Atleast you have and control those assets and not invest into something that will have a better chance of getting to you in two months time than getting hit by a meteorite.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Allowing ICO to be sold to US citizens there is a way on: August 05, 2017, 09:15:34 PM
A method that allows US citizen to purchase tokens during an ICO sale from any company.

Always when I would ask if I was able to purchase tokens during an ICO sale for a number of promotions on the forums I would be asked this question right off the bat:
"Do you live in the USA?"

I would answer "yes". And the representative of said ICO would tell me I was not eligible because of some law forbidding them to be able to sell to any residents of the United States.

Well there is a way past this. A method if you will.

Read on about it here:
https://steemit.com/ico/@pbitcoin/ico-tokens-during-pre-post-sales-can-be-available-to-us-citizens-too

Give me your thoughts on this and upvote if you find it helped you out in pursuing what others around the globe are doing and making some profits from purchasing early on during their favorite company goes live. Smiley

78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] How to claim Bitcoin Cash on: August 04, 2017, 06:09:12 PM
And Exodus just released an easier way to claim BCH from your wallet on their last update release of their wallet:
https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@itsshowtime007/claim-bch-with-your-exodus-wallet

All clean and straight forward without needing to do anything with private keys or anything like that.
Just straight from the GUI interface. Cool

How simple can that be!? Wink
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty [IXT] InsureX blockchain-secured marketplace for Insurance Bounty Program on: August 04, 2017, 04:47:16 PM

80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope BCH will be pumped so I can get rid of it and stick to the real BTC on: August 04, 2017, 04:42:42 PM
And it gets worse.
From what I just read about it here! Shocked

https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@medevlo/bcc-is-a-farce-viabtc-bitconcash-chinese-miners-proof-they-want-to-just-destroy-bitcoin

The price is dropping like a rock (at 0.08btc each from 0.172btc since writing of this post).
Once this gets out even more will be shed of this false coin to the BTC we all know and have become accustom to.
