61  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: June 05, 2013, 10:07:22 PM
Given that a ratio share price vs yearly dividend of 3 : 1 is considered a bargain in FIAT stock markets, AM is worth between 10 and 15 BTC per share.
It is not about freaking high dividends, but ridiculously low share price. I would buy plenty more if I could. Before the big boys get on the waggon.
62  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: June 05, 2013, 11:15:50 AM
I am done sold all my shares.  Thanks for a fun 3 months and 30 coins of profit. Good luck selling sticks at 2 coins a piece.

BFL has now shipped more then 100 jallys .   More shipping today.

hmm 2 coins = 333MH hash vs 2.5 coins = 5GH hash  read the hand writing.  Take your profits and go on vacation from the btc world. In two weeks the word will be out that bfl has shipped 500 to 1000 working jallys. current price of 2.5 BTC will get you 5Gh of hash.

AM could easily sell 5 GH for 1 Coin and still make a profit.
This thread is about securities, not mining hardware.

If they manage to keep 20% of the network hash rate, which I am sure they will, there will always be a dividend of 0.015 per share. That makes annual return of 30%. That is pretty damn good.
Shares are cheap now. They are worth more than 3 BTC.
64  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] G.ASICMINER-PT on: June 04, 2013, 02:05:41 PM
Why does the 24- or 48-hour low for G.ASICMINER-PT in the BitFunder Market page reflect lows that do not show up in the transaction history and that are well below the top bids?

At the moment the 48-hour low was 0.95 and a few days ago, it was 1.0. Neither price has shown up in recent trades since April.

My guess is a bug where it's showing options being exercised.  (purely a guess, from a fellow exchange op's perspective.)

I have noticed same behavior with other shares too. Likely a bug
65  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Kenilworth Exploration - Real World Mining Opertunity with Bitcoins on: June 04, 2013, 10:59:43 AM
For those interested in mineral exploration tech stuff, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mineral_exploration#Geophysical_methods is worth reading. You can safely omit the Political, sovereign and other associated risks, as Australie is the most mining friendly country in the world. China will guarantee for this.
66  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Kenilworth Exploration - Real World Mining Opertunity with Bitcoins on: June 04, 2013, 10:53:26 AM
Kenilworth Exploration has already a single hit of 107/gt Au-Gold in our one diamond drill.

So every ton of ore/rock mined would hold 107 grams of gold.  It doesn't sound much but is well above the minimum needed for extraction to be profitable.

There's other factors affecting the viability of a find (e.g. accessibility, ore-type) but the gold content and the quantity of gold (or ore) are the two key ones.

What is the minimum needed for extraction to be profitable?
How profitable are the other ores?

This stock - IPO should be featured in tech media soon. It is at least as innovative as the setup of a Bitcoin-ATM. But it will have to draw some wealth into the Bitcoin-community to be successful.

67  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Soon you can "pre-order" BFL ASIC "chips" on: June 03, 2013, 12:44:37 PM
My guess is that pre-orders are declining and they desperately try to source money. Otherwise it is insane to expose closed source design. I wonder if all those wafers have even been paid for. From what I read in the forum they have only 50000 chips at hand.

I just wanted to say you guys are doing fantastic job with giving out information and answering questions, and wish nothing but the best for you all.

I seriously doubt this is a scam, seeing how much personal information you are all showing as well as the level of responses you are giving. Though, sadly I will not invest in you guys at this time since I am not familiar with mining and mineralogy, so I don't really understand what risks there are and the possible roadblocks which could prevent success.

Maybe you could explain what are the most likely or common problems for a company doing what you are doing, and what are some of the possibilities for success?

Thank you for bringing some much needed diversity to the Bitcoin securities landscape!

+1

Can you assess the contents of your claims without seismic exploration? I see only drilling. How many cores do you intend to drill?

I like the idea of getting loads of bitcoins in dividends should it crash down to 10$ again.

You had to pay VAT? if so how much?

It´s all in the order book, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqgZtLSqKPzQdFFqNzNST2MzQUtQWTVzVTVsS3k3VVE&usp=sharing

You pay UK VAT of 20 % on the value of your USB-stick. So that is approx 1$ or 0.007 BTC on 5$ value. Not so much, because it is only USB sticks ;-)
74  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Bitfunder Aktien on: May 30, 2013, 09:34:55 AM

Are these things going to come with a guide for n00bs (or can someone point me in the right direction)? Smiley

Point is OP put considerable effort into organizing this deal and would end up with much lower income.

Such a shame that about half of this group buy is done by lame ducks. Hopefully I´ll never have to deal with any of them. I bet those 100 pcs have been ordered from friedcat directly today.

Any deadline for the payment? Most likely some will never pay.

While transaction was confirming, the amount due increased by some hundreds Satoshis. WTF

What do you mean with that?

Copied amount into Bitcoin client, sent transaction, refreshed order book, amount increased by 200 Satoshis

Just pre-ordered one.

Will we receive a PAID VAT invoice ?

It is never a good idea to talk about tax matters in public. PM the seller.
