61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listed exchange matters on: November 23, 2019, 04:45:59 PM
To be listed on top exchanges is a good thing but the most important thing for me is how good and useful the project is before I invest or promote it because I'm one of those people whose target is a long-term goal as I believe that it is more profitable just like Bitcoin today.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO: A professional scam on: November 22, 2019, 06:51:07 PM
IEO is just the other version of ICO, the only difference is that IEO offer confirmed listing after the sale that is why a lot of investors choose to participate in IEO but sometimes they forgot to make proper research because they are only focused in listing on the exchange. I agree with OP that IEO can be called "A professional scam" since the exchanges are involved.

64  Local / Pamilihan / Re: 🔥🔥Binance's Shanghai Office CLOSE! Kaya nga ba bumulusok si Bitcoin?🔥🔥 on: November 22, 2019, 06:03:08 PM
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs: The "Soon" Game - For those who can hardly relate on: November 22, 2019, 05:12:34 PM
Last 2017 when Bitcoin and other altcoins are reaching their all-time highs, IDIOT token was born. It successfully reached the hard cap at $10 million, and the final price per token was at $0.10.

The ICO craze made a lot of fortune to some people while the other side effect is that fake projects gather millions of money from crypto investors. Usually, the words "soon" become a habit answer from developers to give them more time to scam or prepare their exit strategy and now the crypto market is suffering from these scammers actions as the investors are afraid to put any money in crypto.
66  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Altcoins- kita o lugi? on: November 21, 2019, 06:35:14 PM
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good trading volume doesn't mean a token is good on: November 21, 2019, 05:57:09 PM
There is a market maker for hire who has the sole purpose of making your token active in terms of daily trading and sometimes this creates hype for the project to attract investors or traders. In addition, trading volume can be fake so never ever rely the worth of a project just because it has a good trading volume.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: StableCoins might increase crypto adoption by big companies ? on: November 21, 2019, 04:59:51 PM
I somehow agree that stablecoins might increase the crypto adoption if more companies use as other option for payment but once their users become more knowledgeable in crypto and knew the difference between centralized and decentralized coins then there is a big possibility to increase demand for Bitcoin and other altcoins which they think is more profitable compare to stablecoins.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: November 20, 2019, 07:23:58 PM
I expect more new projects will pop-out to keep up with the hype of the Bitcoin halving and I think that year 2020 will be a good year for crypto. We have survived the bear market in 2018-2019 so no matter what bad news or things to happen next year is not a big problem for us.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 20, 2019, 07:12:08 PM
I think its a matter of what coin you hold because if you are holding a coin that is about to become a shitcoin then you're a fool, what I'm saying is that we must be very careful on choosing a coin to hold. Bitcoin is one of the examples that holding is still profitable since many people earn a huge amount of money just by holding and selling it at the right time.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real use cases that can't go wrong on: November 20, 2019, 06:42:30 PM
If you look at the prices of other real estate blockchain projects, the crypto community seems to have little interest on this market.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/iht-real-estate-protocol/
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/real/

They might have a valid real use case as you claim but if the market doesn't agree, there must be something wrong.

In my own opinion tokenization and blockchain technology is a huge improvement in the real estate industry but due to the complexity of rules and regulations in property investment, crypto investors are still doubtful in this kind of project. Real estate platforms are still in the stage of maturing just like other projects so it will take some years before we see some progress but for me, it's not a bad idea to invest in real estate projects because they have a big potential.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: November 20, 2019, 05:50:51 PM
We don't need all of the altcoins but only those that we think will be useful in the future. Currently, the altcoin market is in the bad shape but once they have real use-case then I think that's the time for the bullish rally of the altcoin market.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Question] The First Digital Currency You Can Mine On Your Phone on: November 19, 2019, 06:48:19 PM
There is someone send me DM on FB saying that it will surpass what Bitcoin have now.

Just because it can be mined via phone it will surpass Bitcoin? Grin it doesn't work that way because if a new coin like to overtake Bitcoin then it must be fully decentralized with a real use-case and huge demand though it will not likely to happen since the Bitcoin community is so large that they will not let that thing to happen.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggest invest in small amount on: November 19, 2019, 06:03:49 PM
We don't see any big gains from altcoins for the last couple of months while Bitcoin price goes up & down in a short period of time and maybe it is because of the upcoming halving next year which is why it would be better to keep your Bitcoin instead of converting it to other altcoins.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs Worldwide Hit New Milestone, Surpassing 6,000 on: November 19, 2019, 05:28:05 PM
The increasing number of Bitcoin ATM is one of the steps towards achieving mass adoption and I expect that in the next coming years, the news will be the growing number of people who use Bitcoin ATM. Banks don't have any choice but to integrate Bitcoin on their ATM if people demand it which I think will happen sooner or later.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: be careful with projects that offer you great prizes, that is not a guarantee of on: November 19, 2019, 05:04:00 PM
In the crypto sphere, any projects that offer a guaranteed income are bullshit since the market is volatile and we only have a small portion of the world's population that has interacted with crypto which means it would be hard for a new project to drive demand for their coin or token unless they have a reliable and effective marketing strategies.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Need to Reconsider Holding altcoins on: November 18, 2019, 05:45:16 PM
Holding altcoins for few months or years will not guarantee that you gain profit because what really matters is how the team develop their platform or product to increase the demand for the coin. I recommend that if you have a bag of a dead project or shit coins then stop holding them and sell it immediately if still available because you won't gain anything for holding so long.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum ERC20 Tokens Are Gaining in Total Market Capitalization on: November 18, 2019, 05:19:29 PM
The majority of the tokens out there is an ERC-20 type and with fake volumes on the exchange then you can come up with gains in total market capitalization. I know that Ethereum has a big potential to grow over time but not all the tokens under it and in the long run, only tokens that have a real use-case will remain.
80  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: [DISKUSYON] PayaCoin x Payasian SCAM o LEGIT on: November 18, 2019, 04:45:55 PM
