61  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: LIGHTNINGASIC SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner; LA1THS, stock ready. on: April 05, 2014, 10:57:29 PM
You guys should really try the new LightningAsic V3c miner software if you haven't already, it's designed to do one thing and one thing only, to get the most out of your Gridseed miners. If you don't have a Tp-link 703N, they are really cheap to get on eBay @ ~$20. Definitely worth the investment.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=554542.0

im very happy with it, over 3 days uptime now

I still have V1, does this new V3 give much better speeds?
Always a bit worried about upgrading anything that works quite fine...
62  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmine list of orders - December 2013 delivery (batch 1) on: April 04, 2014, 11:11:32 AM
Received my order #220X from Oct 13th.
FedEx tracking received 2nd and packet 3rd.
Two 1TH desk units. No CPP unit yet, comes later, don't know when. I guess it's fair to send CPP units a bit later so people can get their actual orders faster.
63  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: April 04, 2014, 11:07:03 AM
I received today my order #220X which included two 1TH Desk units.
Thank you. Came actually next day by FedEx after receiving tracking.

Both works, but another have some temp issue.

Another runs nominal model around 65C (sensor #1) @ 1TH

But temp sensor #1 value climbs on antoher unit step by step... to 80C and beyond - dont dare to see how high it goes, switched to power save mode there and temp goes back to around 65C. wondering what causes this?
What temp is safe?
Overheat Cut Off Temperature is set to 70C, but it doesn't have any effect. I.e. Doesn't cut off there.

Fans are runnig. Everything looks to be just fine, but temp rises on normal mode. Could it be some issue with thermal paste on some module?
Ambient room temp 21C

Just wondering how this kind of order can be forced?
I see no way if someone decides just wipe their as* with such order.
So is it a bit just symbolic thing?
65  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: What company to buy a miner from? on: March 29, 2014, 12:15:33 AM

No own experiences, but seems to be almost the one and only good choise now.
For scrypt miners lightningasic / asiabtc
66  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bitmine CoinCraft Series Users Thread - Troubleshooting, Efficiency, O/C on: March 15, 2014, 04:57:21 AM
Im now waiting for delivery without PSUs, can someone post a pic of PDU or generally inside of Desk showing how power cables are connected.
Im planning to run 1TH units with two PSUs 900W & 850W. But not sure if there's PDU inside or if power cables are connected directly to modules?
Any info would be helpful.

68  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 28nm ** 1T ** 900W【JingTian miner】 in production !!! on: March 08, 2014, 02:08:59 AM
I´m a little bit confused.... how many representatives for the JingTian miner is on bitcointalk?

(Seeksilence, skyfromwell and JT miner)

It is confusing, but I think at least three different Chinese companies are currently offering similar 1TH products that all seem to be using the Bitmine A1 chips.

There´s more like 4+ different companies selling these 1TH miners. They´re all using the same blade design, A1 chips, raspberries, etc... the only difference between them is the casing and the color of the cables (From what have been revealed so far).
Yes,... and pricing from $5000 to $8000

Generally funny, I have ordered miners from Bitmine, already two months late. Now i can get faster from Chinese manufacturers than directly from Bitminy. Crazy.

I would be statisfied with a gridseed cable with 5-10 plugs ... 1 m size.

... need at least 10-20 of them ...
I wish to buy also this kind of cable X 10 from ATX PSU to Gridseed unit. Shoud I PM or how this works best?
( QTY 4 PSU Modular or PCI-E to 3 barrel plug cables. )
72  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: March 04, 2014, 09:24:54 PM
So far with the v2 firmware I am experiencing reboots even though I set it to never reboot on dead miners.  I only have 7 miners running at 750.  I am wondering if it's the usb hub that was supplied, some of the ports don't make the miners light up green when plugged into the usb, while other ports do.  I am going to try a different hub and I'll report back.

Maybe better HUB & good USB cables might help?
73  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 03, 2014, 07:02:51 PM
What amounts have been marked on shipping documents?
If ordered with -15% or -20% discount is it discounted amount or original price on invoice?
MPP units... what amount for them?
74  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Why you shouldn't buy Hashfasts new "up to 800GH/s" "product" on: March 03, 2014, 04:08:55 AM
Sorry to hear more problems and thank you for sharing. I was actually about to order from Hashfast but ordered instead from another company last October, not sure yet if it was any better...

My experiences so far...  Avalon Batch #3...  they delivered finally (only) three months late.
Now waiting for Bitmine delivery which was promised last week of Dec, but nothing yet. Anyway already two months late.
LA3M unit from asiabtc / lightingasic came actually fast a bit over week after payment!

Generally buying ASICs seems to be really risky.
75  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: March 01, 2014, 03:18:57 AM
Guys quick question for those with the Brown/Blue/Green & Yellow Power cables,

On asiabtc diagram in the guide (also pic on first post) he has the following:

Ground: Green/Yellow
N: Brown
L: Blue

In everyone elses pics I see

Ground: Green/Yellow
N: Blue
L: Brown

Which one is correct and why is the one in the guide different?

There's theoretical difference, but in practise it does not matter how you plug those two wires... both way will work.
76  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: LightningAsic usb miners based Gridseed GC3355 Tech Support Thread on: February 28, 2014, 10:12:42 PM
Finally seems working... expect one unit which is dead, no light on leds, fan works, not shown... but 9 out of 10 works nice. Let's see.
77  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: LightningAsic usb miners based Gridseed GC3355 Tech Support Thread on: February 28, 2014, 09:27:18 PM
Okay i got a worker to show up but it wont submit shares.

Also one of my tp-links is broken?

Same problem here.
On Dual mode BTC mining works nicely, but LTC miners shows "runnig" 0 on controller, but nothing on pool - also ltc miner logs are empty. However system log on controller dashboard shows that LTC miners are on.. weird.
78  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: February 28, 2014, 06:34:57 PM
Received LA3M today, thank you!

What's the good pool to mine Scrypt?
Maybe LTC only pool if there's speed issues with multipools?!
79  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 27, 2014, 09:19:08 PM
Alright, after a day on vacation in a customs warehouse in Kentucky, my order has been delivered. Two 15kg boxes, 45cm x 45cm x 25cm; box strong but slightly undertaped.

Barcode sticker on side of box with "Made In Switzerland By Bitmine AG" and a unique serial number: CCD000023 and CCD000024 (we'll see if this is a dangerous info leak); matching stickers applied to invoice in airbill packet. This is a good sign about bitmine's processes and a a nice touch for those depreciating or otherwise accounting for these items.

Handwritten (in pencil) "+600" on airbill, which corresponds to the CPP bonus.

What would you guys like pictures of?

e

a video review please

Both please Smiley Vid and pics!
Test turbo also please! Ambient temp you run those?
80  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I lost 206000 dollars in MTGOX on: February 27, 2014, 09:10:20 PM
I have 206000 dollars in my MTGOX account before Feb.7. These money are sleeping in MTGOX for years. I trust MTGOX & Bitcoin foundation very much. I thought Satoshi is behind MTGOX. (I think I am a idiot!!)

After a serials of good news and bad news and the market manipulation in these dark days, my balance is slim to 64000 dollars. I finally decide to retrieve the money via Bitcoin builder. I bought 320 btc at 200 in MTGOX. MTGOX suddenly shut down when I am withdrawing the bitcoin!

I think all the money are gone. All I want is putting Mark Karpeles to the jail. I do not trust Bitcoin again. Cry Cry Cry

Umm... Sounds almost that you got what you was looking for. This is of course sadly for everyone who lost something and generally for Bitcoin. But... why in the hel* keep so big amounts on third party accounts? Only reason for that would be extensive trading... I learned that with bitcoin24.de shutdown and bitcoin-central.net hack.
