In the beginning, this wasn't such a problem, since people didn't do this kind of stuff.
Nowadays, I occasionally see signatures with BBCode art that are stolen from other signatures. Let's not call any names here.
Is this allowed? Do we have to put copyright licenses under each signature in order for this not to happen?
I wouldn't call it stolen because it is open source on every signature thread, but what people do is modifying these signature codes and 'generate' a new one. Who would mange the copyright licenses, what happens to the guy who modified it? There actually was no modification of the part of the BBcode art. To give an example of one, this was copied-and-pasted directly to a new signature: It took me about an hour to make this, it's a shame if this can just be used in another signature for no effort at all.

As the others already stated, there already exists a list of signature campaign. Still, thank you for your effort ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) .

Ehh, did you design that Ethereum logo by yourself? Or did you copy it from another signature. I'm pretty sure this is just plagiarism from a different signature I designed:

Hi!
Can you also integrate whole images in the signature?
That depends on what kind of image. If it's something like a logo, it should be possible. It is only made out of text art though, not a real image.

I am using an old i5-3570k... 8 Gigs of RAM... Windows 10, Python 3.6... nothing really special... and it turns out I was waaaaaay off with my estimates... my code is still running after I got back home tonight from work... so it probably has another day or so to run ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) As for checking the privkey against the address... I'm using the privkey_to_addr() function from the pybitcointools python library... basically you pass in a privkey and it returns the address (or generates an exception for a 'bad' privkey)... I either catch the exception (and basically ignore it) or compare any returned address against "1qkCBiEjY4GAUFBcrsDXqyM6EPbZKTqCW" which is the published address. I should probably do the Base58CheckSum thing, and looked into it briefly, but got confused by all the math and couldn't see any obvious "Base58Checksum()" type function, so I went with the first function I found that looked like it could tell me if the generated privkey matched the bitcoin address ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Base58check is a lot faster, since it doesn't need to use ECDSA. That can improve the speed by over a 1000x haha.

Here is my second submission. This one is going for a more minimalistic approach.

You cannot use colors in the member rank dude. :-) Huh, what do you mean? I'm not using any colors, am I ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) ?

You can take a look at my portfolio if you like. The cost at my shop is 0.035 BTC for a normal one, or 0.05 BTC for one with a logo.
